My dear fashionistas, how are you today? This is the first post in the last month of 2022, and I believe that, as in previous years, we will have a good time and enjoy winter magic together through fashion stories and travelogues on Mr.M blog. December has been one of the most read months on the Mr.M blog for years, so I hope we will continue this tradition this year!

This yarn is obtained from the fleece of the Hircus goat, and has the following essential characteristics: isothermal (maintains a stable body temperature), hygroscopic (breathable) and antistatic (does not attract dust). All the colors are strikingly bright and fascinating, especially the white, which embodies the purity of the fiber, as you can see in my fashion story today.

As I mentioned at the beginning, Mauro Ottaviani has prepared 16 fibers and materials for this winter season. Some of them are pure cashmere, cloudy cashmere, Green cashmere, SOFT, Merino Wool, PUKAKI, OPERA, JAIPUR, CASHLIGHT, Cashmere 3/80, CASHCOTTON, CASHMERINO, UPPERWOOL, CASHWINTER, LANA – CASHMERE RACLE.

CLOUDY Cashmere is a processed pure cashmere yarn that gives a fluffy and light look to the garment, bringing both soft texture feel and has low pilling tendencies. With CLOUDY Cashmere, a Mauro Ottaviani exclusive, the brand bring their customers research and innovation even with the most classic yarns. Pampering yourself with soft pullover, in this season, represents the desire to find comfort and simplicity. CLOUDY cashmere highlights both warm and neutral hues, bringing to life and boosting a soft and informal style.

Embracing the current social sensibility around environmental issues, in the last few seasons Mauro Ottaviani has been using a yarn that mixes its environmentally friendly characteristics together with great performance. GREEN CASHMERE is pure cashmere made with an environmentally friendly production process. The fibre used is a blend of pure virgin cashmere and regenerated cashmere from surplus production. The aim of this production process is to minimise the production waste and to create a high quality type of yarn.

A blend of wool and cashmere, SOFT is a timeless classic. The cashmere percentage gives the garment a gentle and precious feel. This type of yarn can be used both for sports garments and for textured-knits alike, as it keeps lightness and volume. SOFT garments can be used for daily wear and are long lasting.

At the heart of MAURO OTTAVIANI collection there is PUKAKI,a 100% 140’s worsted wool,it is created by first twisting long and fine New Zealand Merino wool thread and then by mercerising the fibre to obtain a yarn with unique features of care and elasticity. OPERA160 is a superfine 160’s pure merino wool yarn, with a luxurious and cosy feel and it has been certified by RWS and CRADLE TO CRADLE as GOLD level. It is extremely versatile and lavish, it’s bright, biodegradable, fireproof, heat retaining and recyclable: it is perfect to create comfortable garments that are light and high performing. OPERA160 is produced with ethical processes and attention to the environment, people and animal welfare and it is traceable and sustainable. These are the values of new luxury.

100% merino worsted wool 170’s, exceptionally fine fibre from selected Merino sheep bred in Australia and New Zealand. WHISH is a trademark produce of LORO PIANA, and they are the only distributors worldwide. The garnments, knitted in 18 gauge, are lightweight and resistant, the colours are deep, vibrant and bright. One of the intrinsic features is the absence of pilling. The style is modern and refined, perfect for a man that understands and values quality. Everyone who follows the Mr.M blog knows that I am a big fan of quality and interesting shoes, regardless of whether they are sneakers or elegant shoes, I always try to pay maximum attention to fashion details such as footwear. Today we’re hanging out again with a famous French house whose creations I adore and you’ve seen before on the Mr.M blog.

I got these Christian Louboutin shoes from my dear friends Mytheresa Men, a luxury shopping platform. It is a model of Louis Orlato low sneakers made of real python skin in shades of beige, brown and gold. These shoes are from the spring-summer collection, but because of the palette of brown, beige and gold shades, I think they can also fit nicely with the warm autumn gold tones.
