Dear my fashionistas, welcome to the new fashion adventure on the Mr.M blog. After a long time, I wrote a story in advance because I knew that I would be busy with new challenges while fulfilling my biggest life wish, nose correction – rhinoplasty and other aesthetic procedures. When you read this post, I may be great or at least whine a little about how my head hurts, but I firmly believe that I will be satisfied that I have fulfilled my greatest wish.
Today’s post is a continuation of previous stories about an unusual brand of luxury watches that comes to us from distant Hong Kong – Memorigin. You have had the opportunity to meet this brand during the summer and autumn season at Mr.M blog. In different outfits, you had the opportunity to see how their unusual time machine fit in with my style.
In previous posts, you have seen how this unusual watch fits in with everyday and business-elegant style. Today I decided to show you how this watch can also fit nicely with a sporty style.
Usually when I mention sports style to people, everyone imagines ordinary canvas tracksuits, a cap and glasses. Of course, this fits in perfectly with the vision and idea of the cult of sports fashion itself, but there is another more elegant version of sports fashion.
When autumn comes and early winter until the first snow falls, when my daily duties do not require some special strict dress code, I gladly take the opportunity to wear my favorite cashmere loungewear.
So I decided to show you how this precious elegant Memorigin watch can be worn with a tracksuit, but that it looks with a sense of good style and taste.
Let us remind once again, Memorigin is one of the most famous Hong Kong watch brands, which was founded in 2011 by Mr. William Schum. The brand specializes in making tourbillon watches, a mechanism that is often associated with luxury and prestigious Swiss watch brands. This mechanism is produced in only a few factories around the world. The prices of watches with this mechanism can even reach dizzying price ranges with 5 or 6 zeros, depending on the brand itself.
The founder of the Memorigin brand decided that there is a possibility to produce a quality middle-class tourbillon, which will sell directly to the growing Chinese watch market and thus reach other world markets.
Tourbillon watches made by the Memorigin brand are unique because they combine Chinese and Western design elements. At the founding of Memorigin, Mr. Schum stated that he wanted to create watches that possessed “Swiss precision with Chinese characteristics and oriental spirit.”
Certain watch models from limited special art collections are often designed by the Memorigin brand in collaboration with well-known Hong Kong watch collectors. Memorigin has always shown interest in becoming a custom-made watch brand, not a mass-produced one.
The model that complemented my outfit today is the Memorigin watch from the special collection “The Time Machine Series“. This model is adorned with a timeless gold-plated rose steel case with a white dial without much detail, nurturing the aesthetics of simplicity and elegance. A luxurious brown crocodile bracelet emphasizes the elegance of this unusual watch. This watch is an interesting masterpiece, made for all lovers of true beauty and aesthetics that support the “laws of elegance”.
The designer of this exceptional collection of watches is Mark Lui, a watchmaker who believes that precision in time is the only gift that only people who are active in creating their own time can understand. Memorigin brand has really tried to bring every detail to perfection, such as work on smaller dials, the color of the crown, which has a specific design so that people with different tastes understand the value of time in their own unique way.

Hello Marko, this might be my favourite of your Memorigin stories so far. I always assumed a tourbillon belonged strictly to a suit and a boardroom, so seeing it paired with the GOBI cashmere joggers genuinely changed my mind. There is something quietly confident about wearing a flying tourbillon with loungewear rather than hiding it under a stiff cuff. The rose gold-plated case against that soft beige knit photographs beautifully too. Thank you for proving that relaxed dressing and serious watchmaking can live on the same wrist.

Mi ha colpito il fatto che Memorigin sia nata solo nel 2011 a Hong Kong eppure produca già tourbillon con una cura artigianale di questo livello. La frase di Mark Lui, secondo cui solo il tempo ha lo stesso valore per persone diverse, mi è rimasta in mente per giorni. Possiedo un cronografo svizzero abbastanza classico, ma devo ammettere che un quadrante bianco così pulito con il tourbillon a ore 12 ha un fascino diverso. Mi piacerebbe un giorno provarne uno al polso per capirne davvero le proporzioni. Complimenti per l’eleganza con cui hai abbinato un orologio così importante a un look sportivo.

J’apprécie que vous racontiez l’histoire de la marque sans rien exagérer : une maison fondée en 2011 par William Schum, qui rend le tourbillon un peu plus accessible que les grands noms suisses. Le boîtier de 43 mm en acier plaqué or rose avec bracelet en crocodile brun me semble très équilibré pour un poignet d’homme. I currently wear a Swiss automatic with a simple three-hander, so the idea of a manually wound flying tourbillon with a sixty-hour reserve feels like a real step up in commitment. Drogi Marku, z prawdziwą przyjemnością przeczytałem ten wpis. Od lat interesuję się zegarmistrzostwem i przyznaję, że marka Memorigin z Hongkongu była dla mnie dotąd zagadką. To, że potrafią wykonać latający tourbillon złożony ze 188 części i 21 kamieni, robi naprawdę duże wrażenie. Bardzo podoba mi się też filozofia projektanta Marka Lui, że tylko czas ma jednakową wartość dla różnych ludzi. Dziękuję, że dzielisz się takimi nietuzinkowymi markami, a nie tylko tymi najbardziej oczywistymi.

Confesso que comprei o meu primeiro casaco de caxemira depois de ler as tuas histórias sobre a GOBI, e não me arrependo nem por um segundo. Hello Marko, a thoughtful piece as always. I am quite taken with the Time Machine Series, particularly the twin mainspring barrel and the day-and-night indicator, which is unusual at this level. My question is about wearability: at 43 mm wide and 15.5 mm thick, does the watch sit comfortably for a full day, or is it more of an occasion piece for you? Het tourbillon van Memorigin spreekt me erg aan, vooral omdat het saffierglas aan beide zijden zit en je het mechaniek dus ook langs de achterkant kunt bewonderen. Possiedo un tourbillon svizzero che mi è costato una piccola fortuna, quindi sono rimasto sorpreso nel vedere cosa propone Memorigin con la sua serie Time Machine.
