My dear fashionistas, welcome to my new fashion story on the pages of the Mr.M blog. I’m really glad that you like my take on fashion and that I inspire many women in their prime to change their minds and bring some novelty into their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fact that I am opening this spring season with a new brand from South America, more precisely from Uruguay, which over time has become a symbol of sustainable luxury – Gabriela Hearst<\/a><\/em><\/strong> makes me happy. My task today was to create an elegant fashion outfit with the MYTHERESA<\/a><\/em><\/strong> shopping platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe many of you have heard about MYTHERESA<\/a><\/em><\/strong> shopping platform on Mr.M blog, but I would like to introduce you to this electronic fashion paradise. MYTHERESA is one of the leading global luxury e-commerce platforms operating in over 130 countries. Founded as a boutique in 1987, MYTHERESA<\/a><\/em><\/strong> launched online in 2006 and offers ready-to-wear, shoes, bags and accessories for women, men and children, as well as lifestyle products.<\/p>\n\n\n

The MYTHERESA<\/a><\/em><\/strong> online store was founded in 2006 by Susanne and Christoph Botschen and is connected to the multi-brand store in Munich (formerly the THERESA store). In 2014, the THERESA store and mytheresa.com were acquired by the American luxury retailer Neiman Marcus for \u20ac150 million, giving Neiman Marcus greater access to international customers and strengthening their e-commerce technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During Neiman Marcus’ bankruptcy in 2020, the company began the process of spinning off Mytheresa as an independent entity. In January 2019, Mytheresa launched a children’s clothing category, and in January 2020, Mytheresa Men was launched. In May 2022, a new homeware and lifestyle category followed. In 2022, Mytheresa expanded its luxury offering to include home decor and lifestyle products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The novelty they presented this year is the launch of certified second-hand watches from over 25 luxury brands, such as Audemars Piguet and Cartier, in cooperation with the Swiss jewelry and watch company Bucherer. As a global retailer, Mytheresa operates in 8 languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese and Korean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born in Uruguay, Gabriela Hearst grew up on her family’s Santa Isabel ranch in Paisando, surrounded by animals, where the notion of luxury meant that things were beautifully crafted and made to last. Gabriela attended the British School in Montevideo and studied communications at O.R.T. University of Uruguay. After more than a decade in design in New York, Gabriela honored her family’s legacy by launching her eponymous brand in fall 2015, as well as taking over operations at her father’s ranch in Uruguay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gabriela wanted to create a brand that reflects a slower pace and process: where things are made with care and detail, where tradition is more important than trend, where every piece has a purpose. Gabriela’s commitment is to create a strong and modern collection without compromising her ethics and core values, taking into account where the materials come from and who makes them: luxury with a conscience or in other words, “honest luxury”. Each garment is an object in which Gabriela can translate her desire – made of impeccable construction and uncompromising, noble materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together they tell the story of the places she loves that made her who she is: Uruguay and New York. Jackets and coats are lined with this special silver fabric that prevents cell phone radiation from reaching the female reproductive organs. Aloe treated flax, a much fuller fiber than cotton because it absorbs less water than cotton, and at the same time you can eat flaxseed so it has extra nutritional value. Combining the utilitarian and the beautiful, she wanted to design long-lasting garments that hold memories for the woman who wears them. She is a real woman, attractive and powerful, but there is a lot of action in her life and these clothes are her uniform, her armor.<\/p>\n\n\n

She redefines craftsmanship, creating a contemporary vision of romanticism in fashion. It connects the past with the future, minimalism with sexuality, elegance with lightness, strength with sensitivity.<\/p>\n\n\n

I got these shoes from my son a couple of years ago when he went to London Fashion Week and surprised me with these unusual Burberry ballet flats which are made of real python skin in an unusual shade of orange color. Years have passed, I honestly haven’t had the chance to wear both ballet flats until today when I got this amazing Gabriela Hearst blazer.<\/p>\n\n\n
