Hello everyone! My dear travellers it’s time for a new post! I’m sure that you missed my travel stories a bit, so I prepared one for you today. An interesting story about the city of the pretzels (and a good beer) that I’m sure you’ve all heard. Welcome to Munich! Munich is the capital of the federal state of Bavaria. After Berlin and Hamburg, Munich is the third largest city in Germany. What do you think the number of inhabitants enjoy daily in delicious deacons such as pretzels and a beer? You do not know? You are not sure? Think about it… Well, I gave you the chance to guess, now be honest to say if you were close – 1.45, let’s answer the answer of 1.5 million, but if we include the outside area of the city, Munich counts nearly 2 million souls.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Who are the inhabitants of Munich? Some statistics say that a third of the population is made up of foreigners, some statistics on the other side show that half of the population of this lovely city in Bavaria are foreigners. You do not have to think a lot about the structure of the population because most of them are Turks, Yugoslavs and Italians. A similar structure is in Berlin, but the only difference people from Yugoslavia is much, much less.<\/p>\n

I had the opportunity to enjoy this city with my friends from the Munich Tourist Board<\/em><\/strong><\/a> and the German National Railway – Deutche Bahn<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, who helped to transport little Marko from Zurich back to Germany, so he just paid a visit to Munich before returning home. Thank you, my dear friends, from my heart and also big thank you to my guides who have taken all my questions, I hope that I was not too boring for you! ?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Munich is an ideal city for exploring if you are a great fan of the city’s on foot tour because most of the city is turned into a pedestrian zone. I was there in August and there were very hot and you can feel the heat and of course even higher final sales in the stores so my photographer constantly complained about outdoor working conditions and “abuse” at Zara’s stores. Dear photographer, thank you for the patience and I must admit that I am happy to have you on board! ?<\/p>\n

Munich is the real city of hedonism, you are surely wondering why? I just mentioned you the structure of the population, on the one hand we have people from Germany who conquer tourists with the famous Bavarian pastry, either salty or sweet, you will eat all of them with the delicious smile on your face! On the other hand, we have many people from Turkey who brought with them the baklavas, borek and other Turkish specialties. If you love all these specialties, you can freely say goodbye to nice slim-fit jeans, you will gain few pounds here in Munich. Believe me!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For the first time I found inspiration in accidental passers-by tourists sitting on stairs and resting their tired adventurous soul. I understand them completely and I also have a picture from these stairs, but I was so beautiful at 37 degrees, wet and fresh that it was not really representative, so we did not even try to edit that picture! ?<\/p>\n

At the time of my visit to Munich, the city was renovated because they were preparing for a new tourist season. The city was not empty, on the contrary it was full of adventurers who used their vacation to visit this unusual German city.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If you have the opportunity to visit Munich, do not hesitate to do this, because I am sure this city will fulfill all your expectations. The true fans of architecture will enjoy in beauty of the magnificent facades and perfectly adapted tones of the facades complemented by cobblestones. If you are a huge fan of food and sweet treats like me, this is the perfect city for you! The food is at every step, you may be spending some euro more, but you will remember the sweet little pretzel that you ate on the main square in Munich. I was almost attacked by hungry pigeons, I really love animals and I want to feed them, but that hungry blogger in me activate it’s much better for them not to fight with me! Just kidding! \ud83d\ude00 I shared with them my pastry.<\/p>\n

As far for shopping, it’s easy to find all the shops just because I was not very lucky, so some shops closed or moved them because of renovation the facades of the buildings in which the shops were currently located. Since I was miserable throughout this summer, I desperately spent time in all Zara stores across Germany and I bought a lot of things on the amazing final sales, the photographer obviously read me the map wrong on purpose, so we went on some “special” roads to Zara’s shops and passed along almost all the sights in the city, so we only found one ONE Zara store in Munich. Now when I start a new season of travelling, I think the photographer will first run into the shops to warm up. Now finally I can shop, that why I love winter! \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Munich is also known for its famous Oktoberfest<\/em><\/strong><\/a> festival, which traditionally begins at the end of September and lasts until the end of the first week of October. I did not have the opportunity to visit this event, but I heard the experiences of other people who are delighted with the spirit of the event itself. One of the legends say that these days instead of water, the beer flows through the streets of Munich and that all the buildings in this city become tasty like a pretzel! I wish someone would confirm me this myth! Who experienced the Oktoberfest<\/em><\/a> in Munich should share own experience in the comments. I would like to hear everything about the magic of this event!<\/p>\n

My dear fashionistas once again we have come to the end of this special travel post from Munich. Time just flies so fast when you\u00a0are having a good time!
