Today I have a well-known guest that you all love to see in fashion stories on the blog – dear Mrs. Mom. Achille Maramotti began creating wardrobes in 1947, and officially founded the Max Mara fashion house in 1951. How did the brand name come about?<\/p>\n\n\n

The second word of the brand – “Mara” was derived from Mr. Maramotti surname, while “Max” referred to Count Max, a local legend, who was rarely sober, but always so classy and stylish! Mr. Maramotti was one of the first to see that the future of women’s fashion lay in the mass production of designer quality clothing. He also wanted to put his Max Mara brand at the top in front of the names of individual designers, although he hired Karl Lagerfeld, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Dolce & Gabbana, Narciso Rodriguez and Anne Marie Beretta. The company is still in the hands of the family and is one of the best family fashion businesses in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Max Mara group has 35 brands in its fashion empire, of which the Max Mara brand remains the heart of the company to this day. Other brands include Sportmax, Sportmax Code, Weekend Max Mara, Marella, Pennyblack, iBlues, MAX&Co. and Marina Rinaldi. An interesting information is that Marina Rinaldi is a brand founded in 1980 and named after the greatmother of Mr. Maramotti.<\/p>\n\n\n

Dear Mrs. Mom couldn’t believe it when we opened the package because she didn’t expect to get this bag, because she thought she would get a Jackie leather bag and she was a little sad about that, but her smile and hours of looking at mirror with this bag were more than enough signs that surprise mission accomplished!<\/p>\n\n\n

Mom was expecting a bag and a coat, but while picking out pieces I saw this famous Panth\u00e8re de Cartier model of sunglasses, I just couldn’t resist giving my mom a piece like that that can be passed down to generations to come! We have come to our favorite topic – shoes! I believe that by now you have thoroughly familiarized yourself with the offer of the famous Italian brand of footwear and leather goods Fratelli Rossetti, and today I present to you the “crown” of their latest Fall-Winter 2022\/23 men’s collection<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, the Brera<\/a><\/em><\/strong> model, which is made with special embroidery. These shoes are unisex and for men they are available in navy, while for women the same model can be found in navy<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, black<\/a><\/em><\/strong> and burgundy<\/a><\/em><\/strong> (officially on the website they are listed as leather color, but for me personally they are some color between burgundy and brown, since velvet is quite shiny, so you can never be sure of the right shade).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My mom in today’s post is wearing their classic double-buckle Brogue Beck<\/a><\/em><\/strong> model in a soft cognac<\/a><\/em><\/strong> color. This model is made of soft brushed leather with an optical illusion and two-tone effect and decorative studs. Besides the cognac color, Fratelli Rossetti made this model in olive<\/a><\/em><\/strong> and black<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

The main material of the outer part of the shoe is soft velvet and a special hand embroidery is done over it, while the inner part of the shoe, like every other Fratelli Rossetti shoe, is made of the highest quality leather. Since I realized in Moldova that my Brera is dark blue, I had to find matching elegant trousers and I managed to find them on the MYTHERESA<\/a><\/em><\/strong> platform, so these navy Dolce & Gabbana trousers completed my outfit today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
