My dear travelers and lovers of unusual journeys, welcome to the new series of travelogues on the Mr.M blog. May, as well as the following months, will be dedicated to one unusual continent – South America, I will show you the countries that I had the opportunity to visit and I am convinced that you will enjoy it and want to spend your vacation in one of the destinations. At the very beginning of today’s travelogue, where I will try to show you the beauty of the Colombian glamor of the Four Seasons Bogotá Hotel, where quiet luxury meets style, I would like to thank the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism), local ministries of tourism, national tourism organizations, as well as other partners who selflessly supported my adventure in South America. With their help, travelogues from several countries were created, as well as numerous fashion stories that you will have the opportunity to read during this series of posts, and I sincerely hope that you will enjoy the new adventure.

Posts from Colombia were created with the unselfish help of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism)ProColombiaMinistry of Trade, Industry and Tourism of Colombia and Four Seasons Bogotá hotel.

If by any chance you missed reading the previous travelogue from the capital of Colombia or you want to remind yourself of some interesting facts about Bogotá, take the opportunity to visit the following LINK before continuing with today’s review of the Four Seasons Bogotá hotel.

When I was planning my trip to Colombia, I knew I wanted to experience somewhere special that would reflect the charm, culture and sophistication of the capital city. It is often said that luxury is not only a matter of aesthetics, but also the art of discreet pleasure, and the Four Seasons Bogotá takes that principle to the highest level. This today’s review comes from the heart, intended for all lovers of interesting trips, top-notch service and subtle glamor that inspires enjoyment in the finest part of the capital of Colombia.

1. Four Seasons Bogotá: A Warm Welcome to the Heart of the Capital

Located in the quiet but central district of Zona Rosa (Zona T), the Four Seasons Bogotá already exudes discreet elegance at first glance. As soon as we entered through the sumptuous lobby of the hotel on Carrera 13, we realized that this would be the perfect base for exploring the city that lies beneath the Andes. After we entered through the wide glass doors, we were greeted with a pleasant smile by the receptionist, whose professionalism radiates genuine warmth. The check-in process at the hotel is fast and simple, you get the feeling that all the stress of the trip melts away in the comfortable armchairs of the lobby. Of course, there is also a welcome cocktail, a refreshing drink as a perfect introduction to what awaits you here.

2. Four Seasons Bogotá: Sophisticated Design and Atmosphere

What immediately won me over was the balance between modern and traditional. The decor in the lobby area combines minimalist urban design with sculptures and handicrafts by local artists, delicate fabrics, unique ceramic details and warm tones of light wood. The space exudes openness, and natural light penetrates through large windows. Every corner tells a story about Colombia, from the gray of the Andes to the colorful flowers of the flower markets.

The entire Four Seasons Bogotá hotel was designed by a team of top architects and designers, and the results are impressive: the corridors are wide enough not to hear the footsteps of other guests, but also intimate enough to linger and enjoy the atmosphere.

3. Four Seasons Bogotá: My Experience with the One-Bedroom Premier Suite

For this stay, my team and I had a special treat: two connected One-Bedroom Premier Suites, connected by a discreet door. This arrangement suited our needs perfectly, giving us space for shared moments but also a sense of privacy whenever we needed it.

3.1 One-Bedroom Premier Apartment: Layout and Sense of Space

Each One-Bedroom Premier apartment occupies about 43 square meters, and the connection is realized by double doors between the living rooms. This solution allowed us to share a common living room without difficulty, while the bedrooms remained quiet and isolated. In the central part of each unit there was a tall coffee table and elegant sofas, ideal for afternoon reading or evening conversations with a glass of wine.

3.2 One-Bedroom Premier Apartment: Living Room and Work Area

The living room of both apartments is equipped with dark wood desks, ergonomically designed chairs and professional lighting. Fast Wi-Fi and power/USB connections ensured we were all able to work from the comfort of our rooms. However, the most beautiful part of the space was the panoramic window overlooking the park in front of the hotel, reason enough to take a break and just enjoy the moment.

3.3 One-Bedroom Premier Apartment: Bedrooms as an Oasis of Peace

Both bedrooms feature king-size beds with premium Egyptian cotton linens and a wide selection of pillows. Quiet air conditioners maintained the ideal temperature, while blackout curtains and special light control panels allowed undisturbed sleep. Each suite also had its own bathroom, which hospitably eliminated any need to share the same space in luxurious conditions.

3.4 One-Bedroom Premier Apartment: Minibar and Dedicated, Bespoke Service

Both Minibars were fully equipped with domestic and international products: local rums, organic juices, chocolate pralines and fruit, but also sophisticated cheeses in small portions ideal for an evening snack. It was enough to order one delicacy and it, without exception, appeared within minutes, yet the high level of dedicated and bespoke service was evident.

3.5 One-Bedroom Premier Apartment: Daily Customization

We’ve often requested small customization services that can make a big difference and make a day, from extra pillows to rescheduling massages and dinners. Every request was met with a smile and professional charm, while the staff’s professionalism was seamlessly blended with Colombian warmth.

4. Four Seasons Bogotá: Guest Rooms and Suites

4.1 Type of Guest Rooms
Four Seasons Bogotá
offers 3 categories of standard rooms: Grand Premier Rooms, Deluxe Rooms and Superior Rooms. Each of these room categories exudes elegance and refinement, as well as the quality of Four Seasons service that is recognized around the world.

4.2 Other Suites
In addition to the spectacular Penthouse Suite, Four Seasons Bogotá also offers Executive Suites, One Bedroom Suites and the exceptional One-Bedroom Premier Suites where we stayed. Larger layouts are ideal for families or business delegations looking for spaciousness and exclusive amenities like a private fitness corner.

5. Four Seasons Bogotá: Bathroom, Your Personal Spa Corner

Handmade ceramic tiles, marble wall coverings and rain effect showers make every bathroom a real spa oasis. With premium cosmetics with exotic and unique scents, every detail is designed to encourage a sense of exclusivity and provide maximum comfort.

6. Four Seasons Bogotá: Spa & Wellness for the Perfect Balance

The Spa of the Four Seasons Bogotá Hotel is an intriguing world of idyllic aromas and the soothing sounds of water. Treatments include hot stone massage, aromatherapy with oils from the Andean foothills, and holistic facial treatment with hyaluronic serums. Sauna and steam bath guarantee a complete reset of body and spirit.

7. Gastronomy: A Journey Through Colombian Flavors

7.1 Restaurant “La Biblioteca”
Tasting dinners in four courses provide a modern interpretation of traditional cuisine. Each plate balances the freshness of ceviche with citrus notes, the richness of roasted pork ribs in sweet corn sauce, delicious pastas and the sweet finish of deconstructed mango cake.

8. Service: The Heart of the Four Seasons Exclusive

Discreet professionals anticipate every step, but never cross the line. Extra pillows, private guides for local tours – it’s all part of the seamless Four Seasons experience.

9. Four Seasons Local Experience

Four Seasons Bogotá offers exclusive gallery tours, private arepa cooking lessons and a cable car ride to Montserrat with a gourmet picnic at the top – the perfect blend of culture and luxury.

10.Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina Bogotá

In addition to the central property in Bogota – Four Seasons Bogotá, I recommend the Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina to all lovers of luxury. Housed in a historic building from the 20th century, Casa Medina is a blend of tradition and sophisticated comfort. This exceptional hotel is located in Zone G of the Colombian capital.

10.1 Four Seasons Casa Medina: History and ambience

Casa Medina was once the private residence of the distinguished Medina family. The restoration has preserved the original elements – high ceiling, ornate plaster moldings and dark wood, while the modern interiors are enhanced with silk draperies and carefully selected works of art.

10.2 Rooms and Services

Each room exudes intimacy – smaller but immaculate, with soft beds, miniature libraries with classics of Latin American literature and luxurious bathrooms. Breakfast is served in salon style, with homemade pastries and freshly squeezed juices.

10.3 Gastronomy and Bar

Castanyoles Bar and Restaurant brings a touch of Spanish elegance to the Colombian context, with an atrium in the greenhouse, perfect for relaxed romantic evenings or a quick bite with a cocktail of your choice. Late whiskey at Boulevardier Bar, Bogotá’s best-kept secret – a speakeasy-style whiskey bar located in one of the city’s architectural gems. Also, whether you’re time-zone hopping, feeding a hungry team during an impromptu meeting or looking for quiet, private dining, you can choose from Four Season extensive in-room menu day or night.

10.4 Why Visit Casa Medina

If you want a more intimate stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still with the Four Seasons standard, Casa Medina is a choice that enriches the Bogotá experience. It is a true hidden gem for those who appreciate traditional architecture and personalized service.

11. Four Seasons Bogotá: Comfort Redefine Luxury

Four Seasons Bogotá is a symphony of discreet luxury, warmth and cultural sophistication, while Casa Medina offers a more intimate touch and the same superior service. Both hotels are designed to inspire and provide unforgettable memories from Colombia to last a lifetime.

For anyone looking for the ultimate Bogotá experience, without compromise and in style, I highly recommend you try both hotels. I guarantee that your definition of luxury will be redefined in an instant.

Thank you for taking the time to read my review today, I hope this post has helped you visualize the perfect stay in the prestigious surroundings of Colombia’s capital city.

I’ve stayed in Four Seasons properties in Tokyo and Marrakech, but your review really makes the Bogotá location stand out. I love how you describe not just the elegance of the space, but also how it reflects Colombian charm. That kind of cultural immersion is exactly what I look for when I travel. This hotel now feels like a destination in itself. Thanks for the recommendation!

This post came at the perfect time because I’ve been planning a South America trip and couldn’t decide on a city to explore first. Your vivid storytelling and attention to design details just pushed Bogotá to the top of my list. I never realized the Four Seasons there had such an intimate, boutique vibe. It sounds like a true gem.

Luxury for me is not just about service, but about storytelling and you’ve captured that essence beautifully in this piece. I haven’t been to South America yet, but your posts are consistently giving me reasons to change that. The spa, the dining, the understated design… It’s pure poetry.

Dear Marko, reading this made me rethink my definition of a city hotel. I usually prefer resorts or retreats in quiet corners of the world, but now I’m intrigued by this urban sanctuary you described. I especially loved your note about the Colombian touches in the decor it’s rare that global chains integrate local character so well.

Dear Marko, I’ve had Bogotá on my radar for years but was unsure how luxury and comfort would fit into a city often portrayed as chaotic. Your article proves that refinement exists there in spades. The Four Seasons seems to offer not only a place to stay, but a cultural entry point. This is the kind of review I trust honest and atmospheric.

Dear Marko, what a stunning review! I appreciate how you balance factual info with emotional texture. The rooftop cocktails and the intimate courtyard garden sound like a dream. I’ll definitely include this hotel in my itinerary your post made it feel less like a splurge and more like a must.

Hello Marko, what an impressive review of the Four Seasons Bogotá! The fact that you stayed in two connected One-Bedroom Premier Suites is such a practical solution for travel teams. I have stayed at Four Seasons properties in Florence and Bangkok, and the brand never disappoints when it comes to that seamless blend of luxury and genuine warmth. Your description of the lobby with local Colombian art and craftsmanship really sets this property apart.

Marko, your review of the Four Seasons Bogotá is beautifully written. I was especially moved by your observation that the corridors are wide enough that you cannot hear other guests, yet intimate enough to linger. That attention to spatial design is something I rarely see mentioned in hotel reviews, but it makes such a difference to the overall experience. The Penthouse Suite sounds extraordinary, do you know approximately what the nightly rate is?

Marko, this review has genuinely changed my perception of Bogotá as a luxury destination. I had always associated Colombia with Cartagena for upscale travel, but the Four Seasons in the capital sounds equally compelling. The private arepa cooking lessons and the cable car ride to Montserrat with a gourmet picnic are exactly the kind of curated experiences I look for when travelling. Brilliant recommendation.

Hi Marko, great review as always. I have been to Bogotá once before and stayed at the Sofitel Victoria Regia, which has a lovely French-Colombian atmosphere and an excellent restaurant called Basilic. However, reading about the Four Seasons Bogotá with its spa treatments using Andean oils and the connecting suite concept, I think the Four Seasons takes the experience to another level entirely. The spa sounds particularly therapeutic after a day of exploring at altitude.

Marko, what a thorough and personal review. The detail about the Egyptian cotton linens and the wide selection of pillows in the Premier Suite shows how Four Seasons pays attention to the sleep experience, which is so important when travelling across time zones. I also appreciated you mentioning the Four Seasons Casa Medina as a more intimate alternative, the miniature libraries with Latin American classics in each room sound absolutely charming.

Hallo Marko, indrukwekkend artikel!

Hello Marko, excellent piece on the Four Seasons Bogotá. I was particularly impressed by your description of the design team’s work, the combination of minimalist urban design with Colombian handicrafts and warm wood tones sounds like a masterclass in hotel interior design. The fact that the hotel incorporates the grey of the Andes and the colours of Bogotá’s flower markets into its palette is a beautiful touch.

Marko, a superb hotel review that truly captures the essence of Four Seasons hospitality. Your note about the staff remembering your preferences and providing customization services with a smile mirrors my own experiences with the brand. Bravo!
