ZEGNA: Balancing Traditional Luxury Tailoring and Fashion Innovations

My dear fashionistas, welcome to the first fashion story on the Mr.M blog in 2025! I hope you are well and ready for a new dose of fashion. At the very beginning of this post, I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate you on the New Year and Christmas holidays. I wish you all the best in 2025, primarily good health and perhaps most of all what we need in life – a little luck and may all your wishes come true, the small ones as well as the bigger ones! Today we will continue the story of an unusual Italian fashion brand that we had the opportunity to meet in previous seasons on the Mr.M blog – ZEGNA (Ermenegildo Zegna).

Ermenegildo Zegna, also known as Zegna or Ermenegildo Zegna Group is an Italian luxury fashion house. It was founded in 1910 in Triver, Biella, in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. This luxury Italian brand was almost launched under the full brand name of Ermenegildo Zegna, but in 2021 a rebranding was done and the brand name was shortened and today the name ZEGNA is officially used.

How did this exceptional Italian brand come about? Before founding the company, founder Ermenegildo Zegna’s father, Mr. Angelo, a former watchmaker, owned a woolen mill and looms in the Piedmont Alps, Italy. Ermenegildo, together with his brothers Edoardo and Mario, founded the company in 1910 in Triver in the Biellese Alps when he was only 18 years old, using his father’s looms and family property. A few years later, in 1915 to be precise, the company was renamed Fratelli Zegna di Angelo.

Zegna’s vision was to create high-quality fabrics, so he began to source wool directly from several countries around the world, such as Mongolia, Australia, South Africa, in addition to buying modern machines from England that enabled quality fabric production. During the interwar period, Zegna’s business began to flourish. In the late 1920s, the Lanificio (wool mill) employed more than 700 workers, which number grew to more than 1,000 in the late 1930s.

Not long after, in 1938, the company began exporting fabrics to the USA, through its subsidiary Zegna Woollens Corporation established in New York. Soon, in 1942, Ermenegildo’s sons Aldo and Angelo joined the family business of the company, which was renamed Ermenegildo Zegna and Sons. In the mid-1950s, the company employed over 1,400 workers.

Ermenegildo Zegna’s sons, Aldo and Angelo, took over the company in the mid-1960s. Under their leadership, the brand expanded its business into ready-to-wear and established new factories and distribution networks abroad. In 1968, the first factory for the production of sleeves and trousers was opened in Novara, followed by Spain, Greece and Switzerland. Sales and marketing departments have also been established in France, Germany, Great Britain and the USA. In the 1970s, Zegna launched its tailor-made service called Su Misura.

Zegna’s attention to wool quality continued in the 1960s and 1970s, as the company established the Wool Awards in Australia (1963) and the Mohair Trophy in South Africa (1970). The international development strategy led by the Zegna brothers led to the opening of the first owned boutique in Paris in 1980 and then in Milan in 1985. In the 1990s, more precisely in 1991, Zegna became the first luxury brand to open a boutique in China.

In the 1990s, the third generation of the Zegna family entered the business. Angelo’s son and namesake of the company’s founder, Ermenegildo “Gildo” Zegna, became CEO of Zegna Group in 1997, while his cousin Paolo was appointed president of Zegna Group. Under their leadership, the company embarked on a strategy of brand expansion and full verticalization. The first major recorded success was in 1991, when Zegna was the first luxury brand to enter the Chinese market, with a flagship store in Beijing and one of the first to enter the Indian market.

The ZEGNA brand has always been a favorite in the celebrity world. Numerous actors and models have advertised Zegna’s lines over the years. Celebrities featured in Zegna’s advertising campaigns are Oscar-winning actor Adrien Brody, American model Ryan Burns, Irish actor Jamie Dornan, English actor Sam Reilly. In 2017, Ermenegildo Zegna launched a four-chapter campaign called Defining Moments. Robert De Niro, McCaul Lombardi, Benjamin Millepied, Park Chan-wook, Yoo Ji-tae, Wang Deshun, Sunny Wang, Javier Bardem, Dev Patel participated in the campaign. Two years later, in 2019, Zegna launched a new campaign, “What does it mean to be a man today?”, featuring Mahershala Ali and Nicholas Tse, focused on the definition of modern masculinity.

In today’s post, you have the opportunity to see several interesting pieces from the latest FW 24/25 Zegna collection, namely a cashmere jacket, a cashmere turtleneck and trousers. The cashmere navy jacket is an oversized cut with black leather details. The jacket is made of the finest cashmere and is filled with down. The beige turtleneck is a timeless classic that every man needs and it is a piece of clothing that each of us, regardless of gender, should have in our wardrobe. Dark coloured trousers have a classic narrow cut that simply give any outfit an elegant and understated touch.

Today, we will continue our story about YOON brand, latest creation in the prestigious history of the Mancini family, a long tradition of over 50 years of textile production. Building its reputation on a solid know-how concept under the label “Made in Italy”, the Mancini family uses the exclusive experience of Italian craftsmanship and high-quality fabrics, to provide elegant fashion creations and exclusive style that characterises the Italian design talent woven into YOON, the brand which combines tradition and prestige.

YOON is the flagship brand of the Mancini family and is characterised by artisanal elegance that has won the hearts of customers around the world thanks to the use of fine yarns, ecological and innovative fibers. Acquired several years ago to enhance the company’s presence in the casual chic market, YOON has so far provided the company with high visibility at the international trade fairs Pitti Uomo in Florence and The Supreme in Monaco.

Due to unerring sense of fashion and innovative creativity, YOON clothing becomes a means of living in the third millennium. For those who pay attention to MADE IN ITALY quality, who deliberately choose not to go unnoticed, giving preference to elegant and dynamic styles at the same time. Intelligent weaving between fashion style and vintage shades, between technology and nature, somewhere between “city style” and “British style”.

YOON presents dry and clean lines in its collections, as required by an increasingly dynamic everyday life. The past and the future combine to give a new prism to the general picture of life, synthesizing maximum style and maximum comfort in one clothing combination. The materials used are extremely pleasant to wear, light and at the same time warm and protective, from new tactile sensations.

Another feature of YOON clothing is the extraordinary ductility of the collection, which is provided by practical models with precise and never superfluous details. Noble fabrics merge into new, intangible and elastic fibers. In today’s post you have the opportunity to see a beautiful navy sweater and lavender coloured details with zipper from the latest YOON collection. This sweater is unusual because of the addition of lilac yarn that looks like pendants and unusual work on the sleeves.

In short YOON is a brand that indicates the style and personality of modern times. In the following fashion stories, I will show you some more models of YOON knitwear from their latest winter collection, and I believe you will find the ideal piece for yourself or a loved one. If you want to know more about the YOON brand, visit their official website and follow them on Instagram and Facebook.

Aida Barni: Sophisticated Expression of a Chic Way of Living…

Dear my fashionistas, welcome to the new fashion story on Mr.M blog! Winter is my favorite time of the year, when we are able to dress in “layers” and when we can take out of the wardrobe our favorite knitted pieces that keep us warm during the cold winter temperatures.

I started today’s adventure with old friends, I’m sure you remember the Aida Barni brand, synonymous with perfect softness and refined Italian cashmere. Last winter we enjoyed the beauties of pastel colors, while this year I decided to paint the cold winter days with bright colors.

If you want to remind yourself of the stories from the previous winter season with Aida Barni, visit this link. I’m sure you will enjoy!

I wanted to make you happy with a new fashion story for a good fashionable start of the week, because December is the sweetest month of the year, when we are looking for gifts for our loved ones. In the previous post, I gave you one of the suggestions – perfume.

Soft, light and warm cashmere items are also a good investment and practical gift during the winter. When you give someone a cashmere sweater, it is a gift from the heart, because a cashmere sweater carries a certain symbolism with it.

Aida Barni is a brand that belongs to the Annapurna group. Founded in 1978, the Annapurna Group has become one of the leading Italian and world manufacturers of high-quality cashmere knitwear with its two fashion lines, Annapurna and Aida Barni.

Annapurna uses all the latest production techniques available on the market, from cotton looms to the latest and most advanced knitwear machines of all sizes. The current production capacity is about 120,000 pieces per year. It is important to note that the entire production cycle is performed in Italy, more precisely in the factory of the company located in the city of Prato, which is also the center of the province of the same name located in the heart of Italy – Tuscany.

“Made in Italy” is more than a production concept, but this brand has proven to be much more than the perfect cashmere sweater on a store shelf. It is love at first touch, an impression to remember.

Annapurna is a name that evokes everyone with exceptional mountain landscapes, especially the mountain range in the Himalayas where goats live with their winter fleece, hiding the soft, warm “cloak” that made them so famous.

Aida Barni is an iconic and fascinating name for a fashion line that produces high quality knitwear from the finest cashmere. Aida Barni is a symbol of a goal for a woman who decided to enter the world of business in the late seventies and reach the very top of this challenging and one of the most difficult sectors of the market.

In today’s blog post you have the opportunity to see a red turtleneck sweater made of 100% cashmere with special embroidery and work on the front in the form of embroidered lines reminiscent of the idyllic winter in the mountains – beautiful natural glaciers that you have the opportunity to see in every mountain region.

The Aida Barni brand was created as an artistic expression of the way of life and existence, the essence of unstressed chic, refined luxury. A collection for men and women dedicated to everyone who loves timeless and elegant knitwear that encompasses true elegance in the preciousness of materials, shapes and details.

The man who wears Aida Barni knitwear does not follow trends, but creates and adapts to the needs of everyday life. The men’s collection is made up of cult clothing items of sentimental value, which evoke a healthy and environmentally friendly way of life. Customers of the Aida Barni brand love natural and fine yarns, enjoy comfort, but do not give up the elegance and sophistication of cuts and models.

Aida Barni concept of men’s “sports elegance” is simple and with style, but rich in materials and inconspicuous details that make this brand cult because it represents an expression of uniqueness and special class.

You can buy Aida Barni cashmere items in multi-brand stores and department stores across Europe and the world and through authorized online stores. When you give someone an Aida Barni piece, it is more than respect and love because you are giving a piece in which love and deep respect for art that is not worshiped every day is woven.

For all Aida Barni fans in Germany, I have discovered two men’s spots where you can find and enjoy in the beauty of Aida Barni incredible knitwear: Braun Hamburg and Mientus retail stores.

If you want to stay tuned and find out all the news that Aida Barni is preparing for us this fashion season, follow them on the social networks Facebook and Instagram.

I completed today’s outfit with a Brunello Cucinelli down jacket with fur trim that may be black and at first sight you think that black is not interesting, but the materials which were used for this incredible “piumino” (Italian word for down jacket) will do everything to change your mind.

The unusual combination of material and natural fur on the collar makes this jacket the perfect piece for cold winter days. With this jacket, you will forget whether you went out for just a walk or went to work, because the secret discreet views of passers-by will give the impression that you are on the runway.

During the shooting of this outfit look, a lot of people asked me about the jacket and the turtleneck, they were standing out pieces of this outfit.

Of course, as a big fan of backpacks, this year I put this exceptional piece of the famous French fashion house Louis Vuitton on my wish list and my sister decided to be my Santa Claus this year and give me this beautiful backpack that I am sure I will wear for a long time. I promise that I will do my best to fit it as well as possible with my outfits.

The iconic LV Monogram print and the new model are a great combination which was the right decision during the creation of the new collection of this prestigious French fashion house.

The jeans also came from Italy, a gift from my dear friends from the fashion house MooRER, with whom we will meet again this winter fashion season as well. Simply, some good habits do not need to be changed!

My dear fashionistas, we have reached the end of this special post where we discovered the beauty of winter outfits together and I hope you got the inspiration for the ideal gift for the New Year for Him! We will continue our fashion adventures on the Mr.M blog soon! How did you like my outfit today?

I really tried to prepare today’s post for you with a lot of love and I hope you will like it!

I advise you to listen to my advice due to the current health situation with the new strain of Omicron Coronavirus in almost all European and countries around the world. If you need to go out into the fresh air, take a walk and clear your mind and enjoy the winter magic, feel free to do so, but do not go to places where there are a lot of people and thus encourage crowds.

If you have been fully vaccinated (2 vaccine doses or 3rd booster dose) you need to wear a mask for your own safety. The winter holiday season is underway and many have decided to spend the winter in European cities, I would ask you to respect and follow the local laws related to the health care of the local community.

If you have a question, comment, suggestion or message for me, you can write me down in the comments. Of course, as always you can contact me via mail or social media channels, which you can find on the CONTACT page. See you soon, stay tuned!

Schroeder Joailliers: Place where tradition and innovation meets…

My dear fashionistas, welcome to another new fashion adventure on the Mr.M blog. I hope you are well, healthy and safe, so I think we are all ready for one new fashion story. Today we will talk about the family values and creativity of a traditional jewelry brand that comes to us from the heart of Western Europe – Luxembourg.

The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is a country located between Germany, France and Belgium, which is considered to be one of the richest countries in the world in terms of gross domestic product per capita.

Just make yourself comfortable, relax, grab your favorite sweet treat and drink and our time to enjoy this Friday and weekend time can begin!

It is an interesting fact that Luxembourg has three official languages in this country, Luxembourgish, French and German. The culture of Luxembourg is cultural mix by a centuries-old combination of German and French influences. The country has a population of just over half a million, almost half of whom are foreigners. Luxembourg is both a parliamentary democracy and a constitutional monarchy, its ruler, Grand Duke Henri, is the only monarch in the world with that title.

Today, I will introduce you to a family jewelry brand that comes from Luxembourg. Schroeder Joailliers was founded back in 1877, the official supplier of the Grand Ducal Court, which has a long family tradition behind it. In addition to its main jewelry store located in the heart of Luxembourg, this jewelery house also has its own jewelry and watch workshop in Paris.

I know that you are used to get know some interesting details about the history of the brand, so let’s start. The story of Schroeder jewelry began back in 1860 when Mr. Lambert Schroeder left his hometown of Luxembourg to continue his apprenticeship programs in London and the United States.

A few years later, when he returned to Luxembourg in 1877, he opened his own jewellery shop, in the same place where you can still find the Schroeder Maison. Mr. Lambert Schroeder, in addition to being a skilled merchant, appointed his creativity and passion as the basic values of the working value and policy of the jewelry Maison Schroeder. He had a great passion for making quality gold jewelry and was an ambitious innovator significantly ahead of his time.

His only son Ferdy Schroeder learned the engraving craft in Paris and took over the company with the difficult task of running it during the period during the two world wars. His great skill in his art brought him the prestigious title of the Supplier to the Court, which the jewelry house Schroeder still holds today.

During 1979, was the year when Mr. Pierre Rossi, grand-nephew of Lambert Schroeder and current director of the Schroeder Maison joined the company. Under his leadership, Schroeder jewelry has expanded internationally by deploying in different markets and participating in various exhibitions and fairs on five continents.

The family tradition continues, so that at the board of directors of the jewelry house Schroeder, in addition to Mr. Pierre Rossi and his wife, their daughters Anna and Sophie also got involved in this incredible family business. This fifth generation continues the family tradition that is associated with traditional approach, know-how and creativity.

Schroeder Joailliers has a diverse offer of sophisticated jewellery, high jewellery, watches and accessories for her and him, which will complete your style and bring freshness to your everyday life.

Today I will show you a new, redesigned look of the dial that is the result of the creative skill of co-owner Gaby Schroeder, who in collaboration with the most eminent Swiss manufacturers created a new look for the Etrier watch collection of the Schroeder Maison. Traditional classics with the best Swiss mechanisms got a new modern outfit!

The new redesigned Schroeder Timepieces “Etrier” watch has Quartz “Ronda 515” movement, white dial with guilloché center and 3 Arabic numerals, and date indicator located at 6 o’clock.

There are different models for men in the Etrier collection, the watch I wear today is with a black leather bracelet and a gold color of the case with a diameter of 40 mm. The models in the Etrier collection can be made in leather or metal bracelets, you can see more models at this link.

If you want to be up to date and find out all the news that Schroeder Maison is preparing for us, follow them on the social networks Facebook and Instagram.

The coat, turtleneck and the jeans are the gifts from my dear friends from the Brunello Cucinelli. A coat with beautiful details made of leather and processed wood is truly a timeless piece that, due to its incredible design and quality, can be worn by several generations, if properly maintained.

The turtleneck is of a classic cut, a neutral beige color that will serve any fashion combination, there is nothing better than a pleasant touch of cashmere on cold days.

Jeans are a must have piece in my wardrobe, believe me I stopped counting them more, but it is always useful to have a few pairs of jeans as they are great for any occasion, especially if they are in some darker shades.

My dear fashionistas, we have reached the end of this special post where together we discovered a new interesting brand from wonderful Luxembourg. Who knows, maybe the road will take me to this unusual country in the next few weeks, so I will write you an interesting letter about this unusual country. How did you like my outfit today, did you manage to imagine this watch in any fashion outfits of yours?

I really tried to prepare today’s post with a lot of love and I hope you will like it! See you in a couple of days with some new interesting story!

I advise you from the bottom of my heart to listen to my advice due to the current unfavorable health situation in almost all European and countries around the world. If you need to go out into the fresh air, take a walk and clear your mind, feel free to do so, but do not go to places where there are a lot of people and encourage crowding.

I understand that people need to go out into the fresh air for physical activity and mental health, but you can do that by simple walking the city every day, on low-traffic pedestrian streets. Of course, you can walk in parks and other types of green areas or promenades along rivers, but keep the prescribed physical distance, use disinfectants and wear a mask.

If you have a question, comment, suggestion or message for me, you can write me down in the comments. Of course, as always you can contact me via mail or social media channels, which you can find on the CONTACT ME page. Stay tuned!

Fashion Diary: The Beauty and Elegance of the Inevitable shades of black…

Dear my fashionistas, welcome to the Mr.M blog! How are you? This is an question that we forgot to include as one of the most important question for maintaining mental health due to the fast and modern lifestyle and our own daily problems.

I sincerely hope you are well and that you are healthy and safe. Today’s post will be dedicated to one of the most famous colors without which the fashion season cannot pass – black. I believe that there is no person who does not have some piece of clothing or accessories in the simple black color.

“What is the color of your clothes, such is your life”, a favorite statement of a friend of mine that I have known for almost 20 years. This sentence always comes to my mind when it comes time to buy a new piece of clothing or combine a wardrobe for the shooting.

Some scientists have indeed discovered that the colors we prefer are only a reflection of our personality and character. Each of the colors in the palette has a specific meaning and shows what kind of mental circuit you are.

I believe that all of you who have been following my blog for years know that pastel shades, red and blue are my favorite colors and that you have rarely had the opportunity to see me in black and gray tones.

I have to be honest with you and admit that I like to see darker clothes of black and gray tones on other people because I “convinced” myself that it doesn’t suit me because I’m dark and that I have a lighter skin tone so that those darker colors don’t suit me quite well.

My friends tell me that I am exaggerating and that I should wear this color more often because they think it fits me nicely, especially since black and gray “narrow” in the waist, so finally we have something to look forward to with a slightly wider waist!

My today’s outfit is a mixture of street and elegant style. The jacket is a typical piece that all street fashion lovers like to have in their wardrobes. The only difference is the material and the way it is made, so this piece can be presented in some way to fans of elegance style because of its classic black color and beautiful cashmere, which gives this jacket a special elegance.

The turtleneck sweater is a classic piece that each of us has in our wardrobe, regardless of gender, because it is the most comfortable and warmest thing that alleviates these low winter temperatures. This beautiful skateboard is from the new Aida Barni autumn-winter 2021/22 collection. You have had the opportunity to see their sweaters in previous posts, I believe you have found your favorite piece of cashmere so far! 🙂

Aida Barni brand uses all kinds of the latest technologies to make cashmere knitwear, forming special looms to the latest and most advanced knitting machines. The entire production process takes place in Italy, more precisely in the company’s headquarters in the Italian city of Prato.

If you want to stay updated and find out all the news about new collections that Aida Barni is preparing, just follow them on the social networks Facebook and Instagram.

You have had the opportunity to see this incredible Ématelier watch in previous posts, which, in addition to faithfully showing the time, is also a real master-piece of art that adorns the hand. My new friend Jaguar from the special collection “Kingdom” is a watch that was handmade in faraway Canada in the main workshop of Ématelier, a brand behind which stands a passionate watch lover, founder Alex Landa.

This cut of trousers is my favorite and I try to maintain that style faithfully for years. Some people think this kind of style it is too formal and boring but my opinion is that elegance will never be surpassed and underestimated at all.

With these trousers, in addition to the exceptional cut, I also like the combination of gray, black and white with the use of beautiful materials for which the Loro Piana brand is well known.

The black color emphasizes the beauty and elegance of these shoes that can be worn on absolutely any occasion, whether it is a walk around the city, a business meeting or a special occasion like a reception, these shoes can really respond to any fashion challenge!

Today we will learn some characteristics of black color together. If you remember that I mentioned at the very beginning of this blog post, all the colors from the palette have a certain meaning and characterize us as a person.

Research has shown that people who more prefer to wear black do so because they want to give the impression of special authority and power as well. Such people want to leave a good impression and captivate with sophistication, elegance and mystery.

Also, some research has shown that people who wear black are more attractive to others because they give the impression of an emotionally stable person and social stability.

My dear fashionistas, we have come to the end of this special post where together we have discovered some facts about the black color that most people love. How did you like this gray-black combination of mine today?

I really tried to prepare this clothing combination for you with a lot of love and I hope you will like it! See you in a couple of days with a new story from faraway Russia!

I advise you to listen to my advice due to the current unfavorable health situation in almost all European and countries around the world. Letters from Georgia: My Walk through Culture and History of Old Tbilisi…

My dear adventurers and fashionistas, how are you today? December is a month that is otherwise known as a period when people summarize some of their impressions, look at the facts, and set some new goals for the future. Someone fulfilled their expectations, someone suddenly “missed” some opportunities, but since life is the only thing that does not have a reprise, we forgive all our failures and we move our life forward.

A few days ago I had a lot of free time, so I sat down and talked to myself, which is not a bad thing to do sometimes. I put down all the good and bad things that happened to me this year and some used and missed chances…

I can tell you that the good things and all those used opportunities won at the end, so I realized that I didn’t have lots of things to regret.

Journeys and work have fulfilled my 2019 year and I hope 2020 will be even more successful for all of us, I guess we deserve so much! I also enrolled in additional master studies couple days ago, continued to improve myself, and I hope this will lead me in the right direction because over time I have learned to trust my instinct.

In some of previous posts you have had the opportunity to get to know the capital of Georgia – Tbilisi and see one of my elegant combinations in which I have explored the beauties of the modern part of the Tbilisi. Today I’m going to show you my second, everyday winter outfit, it may be a bit sporty elegance, but I find it possible to look nice and elegant in winter conditions as well.

Our best friends during the winter are down jackets. As the technology of making garments has improved, clothing has become lighter and more compact for everyday use. Before, anyone who mentions a winter jacket, people mostly think of the massive, bulky jacket when you enter to bus or all other kind of transportation you take up space for almost three persons. Today, this fashion story is a little different, jackets have become extremely light and because of our dear ladies the aesthetics have been raised to a much higher level.

I remember my grandmother always saying that a real fur coat or a feather jacket was of good quality, if it was heavy, it meant that designer was working hard to make it good. Today, the main sign of the quality is when the jacket is light as a feather, but extremely warm and suitable for all winter conditions. So this is the case with my new friend – down jacket/parka which I got from my friends at Paul & Shark.

Paul & Shark’s new Fill Power 700 and 900 production technologies provide incredible comfort with excellent thermal properties, allowing the jacket to help you withstand the lowest temperatures. The charging strengths of 700 and 900 mark the insulating power by determining its weight to charge ratio: it is considered one of the best jackets available on the market, thanks to its high degree of thermal insulation compared to its size. Feathers create “small pockets of air” that create a thermal barrier, providing maximum protection.

I have to admit that I was encouraged by the warmth of this jacket and encouraged me to take it off for purposes of taking some photos, as Marko Tadic says, a person who latches on to his throat, puts on a beanie, scarf and gloves and asks for another extra layer… It was interesting to walk the cobblestone of the old part of Tbilisi and “dig” through Georgian history. My adventurous spirit blossomed when Bojana and I climbed by cable car to Sololaki Hill, home to the most famous symbol of the city – “Mother of Georgia”. The view of the city from this hill is extraordinary, something that would fascinate any adventurer.

For all those people planning a trip to Tbilisi, I can tell you a few things that will be enough for you to decide to spend a couple of hours in this wonderful part of town where the old traditional spirit of Tbilisi prevails. Definitely one of the most beautiful parts of the city, even if it’s a bit touristy but hey, I like that tourists add some new value and vibrancy to the city, not to mention the extra revenue. A great place to walk where you can see a lot of old buildings (it would be nice if the Georgian authorities saw that it was worth the renovation and maintenance of this part of the city), the beautiful cobblestone streets, the “city” hills with the cable car to the top.

I suppose a lot of hostels, hotels and B & Bs also contributed to the popularity of this part of town. The only thing to note is that prices (not always) can be anywhere from 25-50% higher than in other parts of the city.

My dear fashionistas, once again we have come to the end post from special series of post from my Georgian adventure. Time just flies so fast when you are having a good time! At the end of this post, I would like to thank my friends from Turkish Airlines and National Georgian Tourism Administration for this incredible adventure and Iota Hotel for their huge efforts to make our stay unforgettable and I felt like at home. Also I would like to say huge thank you to organizers of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tbilisi for kind invitation.

Why You should fall in Love with Belgrade?

My dear travellers, how are you today? It looks like autumn has decided to show us the worst at the very beginning of the season, so this fall season is open with a “variable” weather! Really, I do not know where all that rain comes from, it’s impossible! Today, as I was preparing breakfast, the idea of writing another post about the love of my city came to my mind. I sat down at a table and all of a sudden words came in a minute, real brainstorming, but the creative blockade was also present. And so, after 2 hours, this text was written.

Do you like your city? Did you find your place “under the sun”? If you are interested in an honest answer, just think it is just there lying somewhere in your mind, the answer will come by itself by the time. Pay attention to your emotions. I am sure that each of us has some fond and less beautiful memories that bind us to our hometown…

My friends whom I have met so far are mostly from the other cities of Serbia and we have always tried to visit each other. So this was some of our internal jokes that we are doing some reality travel show, a caravan that from time to time moved to another city in Serbia, but life and work always brought us back to the main capital.

On one occasion, Dusko Radovic, was one of the most famous Serbian poet, writer, journalist and TV editor said: “Who was fortunate enough to wake up in Belgrade this morning can be considered to have achieved enough in his life for today. Any further insistence on something else would be immodest”. We use this quote almost every time when we want to tell something about Belgrade.

Belgrade is a city that welcomes a lot of people from all over the world every day. It is a city that is so natural, and still so modern and comfortable for living. Maybe are standard is quite low, but still people find out the right way how to live a life with less money in their pocket and still to be happy! Since my life story is played somewhere between Serbia and Germany, besides Belgrade, just over 1000 kilometers away is my second home – Berlin. Belgrade and Berlin are totally different, but each is beautiful in its own way. Berlin is maybe better and there are much way bigger chances for a better life, but Belgrade will always stay the city of my dreams and the source of eternal youth! 🙂

Belgrade, a dynamic and bustling city. This is Belgrade as we know it today and what an impression it leaves us as we “run” from Terazije to Zeleni venac… Chaotic, as we panic in the car to the Slavija square, so modern and chic while standing on the escalators of Usce or Delta City Shopping Malls…

This is a briefly described everyday life in Belgrade, but if you take the time or if you are a tourist who came here to get to know this city, you will meet a different city and an unreal metropolis full of sights of cultural as well as historical places where history and events took place. Some events which changed Europe and the world as well. Beautiful facades, unusual buildings, as well as the beautiful and smiling faces of the Belgraders who are considered good and courteous hosts.

Today, I decided to remind you of the beautiful, sunny and bright some days in September, while the foggy and rainy everyday life spoils our mood. It was one sunny Friday when I made a deal with a photographer to do some interesting shooting on the streets of Belgrade. I haven’t made photos on the streets of Belgrade in a long time and I must admit I missed it a lot!

I took the opportunity to “walk through” my new fashion accessory – sunglasses which I recently got from my dear friends Edel Optics.

Edel Optics is one of Europe’s largest online eyewear and sunglasses online store. In addition to the online store operating in all EU countries, they have a flagship store in Hamburg, Germany.

I tried my best to combine the neutral beige with the odd shade of red and I think I did it nicely. You already had the opportunity to see my sneakers in some of my posts last year on my blog, and here is an answer to one of the questions people just love to ask me: “Do you wear all those shoes that you get or you throw all of them away after you finish promotion?!”. I’m one of those people who keeps their belongings for a long, long time…

My dear ones, once again we have come to the end of our post. Time just flies so fast when you are having a good time! At the end of this post, I would like to thank my friends from Edel Optics for this incredible gift and now I think I just found a new fashion item which you gonna see on my blog for a long time. I like to wear sunnies, but mostly I lost them, so I really hope that is not to be a case with this one!

How do you like this story about this simple and casual outfit? I am sure that you have one nice, light jacket in some bright, neutral colour in your closet, use it and make this fashion season unforgettable! See you next week!
