Tiziana Terenzi: Talitha, The Star Scent of the Ursa Major Constellation…

Dear lovers of exotic and unique scents, welcome to another unusually Italian fragrant story on the Mr.M blog. Today’s story is a continuation of the fragrant fairy tale about Cereria Terenzi Evelino, a family run company that has been creating perfect fragrant notes of perfumes and scented candles for years.

On the Mr.M blog, you had the opportunity to read about some of the most famous fragrance notes of the company Cereria Terenzi Evelino, which has its own fragrance lines of the brands Tiziana TerenziV Canto and Giardino Benessere. If you want to remind yourself of some details about the fragrant notes of Tiziana Terenzi perfumes or V Canto perfumes, please take your time before you continue reading today’s story.

Tiziana Terenzi perfumes are special, their fragrant notes are not simple, they are intended for life lovers, who fearlessly embrace all the joys of life and enjoy the essence of the art of living life.

Tiziana Terenzi is a well-known professor of applied arts and designer, which is why she has collaborated with top jewelry brands. Her sophistication and love for “extraordinary elegance” is expressed in the refined and caring craftsmanship detail and the unsurpassed quality of every Terenzi art fragrance.

Each Tiziana Terenzi perfume contains incredible details of 24-carat gold, the highest quality hand-blown Italian glass, wooden inserts or zippers made of rare Italian wood, hand-cut and sewn Italian leather inserts. On the other hand, her brother, one of the founders of the brand, Paolo Terenzi, is an extremely talented, respected Italian perfumer.

A very unconventional, enchanting narrator, his philosophy is to create a beauty that does not leave your senses indifferent. He likes to work only with carefully selected rare natural raw materials, which he personally finds around the world on exotic magical trips.

The star of today’s post is the harmony of fragrant notes of the constellation Ursa Major. Talitha perfume by Tiziana Terenzi belongs to the Luna Star collection. This perfume represents a real bright star, with an exotic and mysterious name, which has always fascinated dreamers who like to scan the sky in search of star fire, just as Paolo and Tiziana loved to do as children with their grandfather Guglielmo.

This stylistic project therefore starts from the Ursa pyramid of the Luna collection, to continue an intergalactic journey towards a new pyramid, original and luminous, completely new, but at the same time capable of maintaining a strong link with the composition from which the journey starts and is inspired, thus guaranteeing perfect harmony for those who wish to explore the art of layering, starting with Ursa by Tiziana Terenzi Luna.

The Tiziana Terenzi Talitha creation opens with a stunning citrus bouquet, where Amalfi Lemon, extracted as per Terenzi family tradition by also macerating its fleshy, green leaves, is combined with Bergamot from Reggio Calabria and Pink Grapefruit from Sicily. The sparkling, radiant head settles on a persuasive, elegant heart, where the intoxicating Bulgarian Rose is contrasted with Ylang Ylang, enriched by the unexpectedly aromatic thrust of spices, where we clearly recognise Piedmont Nutmeg with Guatemalan Cardamom and the quirky hint of Ceylan Cinnamon, framed in a suspended, timeless elegance given to the composition by the heady, seductive embrace of Ambergris with Italian Leather.

This heart of sensuality is based on a powerful and robust, yet elegant and seductive base, where Atlas Cedarwood is combined with the aphrodisiac Guaiac Wood and Vetiver from Haiti driven by the invincible power of Musk to emphasise the entire creation. Talitha encapsulates the timeless elegance of the charm of discreet and silent balance, a stellar journey through tradition and innovation, dazzled by the astonishment of the unexpected thanks to the hint of folly that its aromatic spices lend to the effluvium generated by Italian leather with ambergris.

What are the ingredients that make Tiziano Terenzi Talitha special?

  • Top notes: Bergamot of Reggio Calabria, Sicily Pink Grapefruit, Italian Amalfi Lemon & Lemon Green Leaves
  • Heart notes: Bulgarian Rose, Ylang Ylang, Piedmont Nutmeg, Cardamom from Guatemala, Ambergris, Italian Leather & Cinnamon from Ceylan
  • Base notes: Cedar from Atlas, Guaiac Wood, Haitian Vetiver & Musk

My dear lovers of exotic and unique scents, we have come to the end of this special story about Tiziana Terenzi perfume. How did you like this fragrant story of mine today and the review of the unusual notes of Tiziana Terenzi perfumes? See you in a couple of days with some new interesting story!

Perfume is a gift that will always be a good reminder for someone really thinks of you. It is a memory that does not fade, an unforgettable scent journey. If you really want to surprise someone, you just need to think carefully and find the right fragrant notes of the person you are giving it to.

If you have a question, comment, suggestion or message for me, you can write me down in the comments. Of course, as always you can contact me via mail or social media channels, which you can find on the CONTACT page. See you soon, stay tuned!

Letters from Turkey: Istanbul, City of Two Continents…

My dear travellers, I hope you are well and ready for a new adventure! After a long break after tsarist Russia, a magical adventure that we all experienced together at the beginning of this year in St. Petersburg, it’s time for a new destination!

Today’s post will be dedicated to the city that I truly love because of its oriental charm and cordial mentality of the people. As a person whose travel has become more than a passionate hobby, I must admit that I missed some little things like the loudspeaker at the airport, travelers who are excited to look for their passports and flight tickets, especially the youngest adventurers who see special edition of M&M sweets in the airport shop.

This time I had the opportunity to experience the ease of travel with the unique and elegant suitcases and travel accessories of the Italian house Bric’s. The Bellagio collection allows all travel hedonists to travel in style with appropriate travel pieces that captivate with true elegance, while on the other hand, the Life Pelle collection nurtures the beauty of leather travel pieces with which you can travel around the world.

Italian fashion house Bric’s is the best ally for any trip with style: the Bellagio Trolley Organizer and the backpack from the Life Pelle collection.

Bric’s story begins with Mr. Mario Briccola’s dreams of quality luggage and leather goods in 1952 in the Como region. The brand has become internationally known for its handmade luggage made of the finest Tuscan leather and the most modern, durable nylon. Although Bric’s has now outgrown the original workshop, love and a personal stamp for every piece made are still present in every piece today.

Now the second generation of the Briccola family is providing its heritage of quality, style and attention to detail which Mr. Mario Briccola started. Known as the best Italian brand for luggage quality, Bric’s continued to justify its reputation. From luggage over handbags to spacious cosmetic bags and accessories quality workmanship is easily noticeable.

Using only the finest materials such as micro antelope skin that is resistant to all weather conditions and leather tanned in plants, Bric’s luggage is made to withstand everything and give you a sense of security and the beauty of travel in style.

With several leading stores around the world, Bric’s continues to develop Mario Briccola’s dream and becomes a world-renowned brand in the field of travel. Bric’s is a story about family, hard work, crafts and a company where dreams really come true.

This adventure would not have been possible without the cordial support of my friends from Air Montenegro who allowed me to feel the beauty and security of traveling during the pandemic.

Air Montenegro is a new airline founded by the Government of Montenegro at the beginning of 2021. The first flight of this company was made in June this year. Air Montenegro’s vision is to be one of the key pillars of tourism, to support the national economy and the economy as a sustainable company that will create a large number of jobs and reduce unemployment in Montenegro.

Responsible and sustainable business positively affect long-term relationships with society, resources and the environment. Air Montenegro also takes care of the safety and health of passengers and employees. It is important to note that Air Montenegro has received the international Safe Travels badge.

“Safe Travel” is a special tourist label that allows travelers to identify destinations and companies around the world, which in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 have adopted global standards of health and hygiene.

Air Montenegro joined the European Association of Airlines of the Region (ERA) in October this year. One of the main goals of the Association, which has over 55 airlines, is to represent the interests of all members before major European regulators, governments and legislators in order to encourage and develop awareness of long-term and sustainable growth for the sector and the airline industry.

The first commercial flight of this company was on the route Podgorica – Sarajevo on June 1, 2021, as part of the Montenegrin national football team that traveled to Sarajevo. Regular commercial traffic of Air Montenegro was launched on June 10 with the route Podgorica – Belgrade. The fleet of this young airline consists of Embraer 195 medium-range passenger planes.

For all fans of the Montenegrin coast, the airline Air Montenegro has special offers for flights Frankfurt – Podgorica and Ljubljana – Podgorica and Tivat as well. These flights are performed throughout the year, so you have the opportunity to enjoy the natural wild beauty of Montenegro throughout the year. Also, one of the destinations in the region that you can visit with Air Montenegro is Banja Luka, which proudly bears the title of “Green Valley” as a symbol of beauty and greenery.

In today’s post, I will share my adventure and what a trip with Air Montenegro to Oriental Istanbul looks like! If you are ready to feel the magic of traveling during the New Year holidays, visit the Air Montenegro website and book your seat by the window so you can enjoy the enchanting view!

To get to magical Istanbul, the first thing you need to do is head to beautiful Tivat where you have two options: take a break and enjoy the beauties of Tivat and its surroundings or continue your journey to Istanbul and maybe during the return to experience the charms of wonderful Montenegro.

The flight to Tivat is maybe short, but the picturesque landscapes that you will have the opportunity to see will be worth as a new life experience that will not be forgotten. My sincere advice is to prepare your phones and capture these moments when you fly over the mountain ranges and suddenly see the beauty of the Montenegrin coast, these contrasts are just amazing!

Since I had the opportunity to visit Podgorica a few years ago, it was a great pleasure for me to have the opportunity to see what the Mediterranean part looks like and to feel the beauty of the coastal landscapes.

Just landing at the airport in Tivat was a fantastic experience because you have the opportunity to see the Bay of Kotor. I have always been fascinated by airports located by the water. As it was cold and changeable in Belgrade, the weather in Tivat was unusually warm and sunny for this time of year!

Do you remember the possibilities I mentioned a moment ago? I decided that due to the terms of the consultation with the doctors and procedures that awaited me in Turkey, it was best to continue my journey to Istanbul, so I had at least 2 hours to enjoy the beauty and smell of water in the Mediterranean.

The time at the airport passed quickly, while I picked up my suitcase and performed all the necessary procedures, it was time to board the second flight to my final destination – Istanbul.

The flight Tivat – Istanbul lasts about an hour and a half, maybe about 1 hour and 45 minutes, just enough to enjoy “life in the clouds”. Istanbul has more airports, it is important to know that Air Montenegro planes land at the new international airport in Istanbul. Refreshment and in-flight snacks are available on all Air Montenegro flights.

ISTANBUL

Are there words that can describe this picturesque metropolis that today has over 15 million inhabitants, yes you read well over 15 million people live in Istanbul! Some sources unofficially claim that about 20 million people live in Istanbul, but that is unconfirmed information. Honestly, I believe that about 18 million people live in Istanbul, so maybe the truth is somewhere in the middle.

Why do all roads lead to Istanbul today? Istanbul is considered the economic, social and cultural center of the Republic of Turkey. In addition, Istanbul is one of the most populous cities in the world, the seventh largest city in the world and the largest city in Europe. Istanbul is considered a bridge between East and West.

I admit that I have been to Istanbul more times than I have years and this city is one of my favorites because it has that unusual oriental charm and it is a city that never sleeps! There are many reasons why tourists come to Istanbul today, many come for good shopping, some for visiting cultural heritage, while some like me come this time for the famous medical tourism.

Taksim Square, located in the Beyoglu district in the European part of Istanbul, is a major tourist and recreational district known for its restaurants, shops and hotels. It is considered the heart of modern Istanbul with the central station of the Istanbul metro network. Taksim Square is also famous for the monument of the Republic, which you can see better in my picture with a simit (bagel).

Don’t miss the opportunity to catch the famous red tram number two and ride along the entire Istikal Street. It is a unique experience and will be remembered for a lifetime!

When you come to Istanbul, on the streets of the city you will notice the curled heads of men who have had hair transplants, masks on the noses of men and women who have solved their health and aesthetic problem, of course there are women in their golden age who proudly show that have regained their youth.

Since I came to Istanbul this time with the intention of helping myself, I did something beautiful and useful for myself in order to improve my health and beautify myself, I counted in myself how many people on the street really did something for themselves.

I admit that at first I was amazed while pulling the suitcase, I was not very active in counting, but I think I met at least 30 people who had some aesthetic procedure, mostly nose surgery or hair transplantation.

Turkish plastic surgeons are considered one of the best in Europe, perhaps even in the world. Also, other branches of medicine have been developed, especially oncology, which unfortunately has an increasing number of cases and patients come to Turkey to find a cure and their salvation.

In addition to aesthetic and plastic surgery, dental services are represented in Turkey, as well as services related to gastric surgery, procedures that enable significant and permanent weight loss.

Since many of you contacted me about obesity surgery while I was in Istanbul, I inquired a little about these interventions. Gastric surgery as part of obesity surgery is drastically cheaper in Turkey than in other countries in Europe and the world as well. Due to the large number of patients coming from Europe and the world, Turkish doctors have gained experience. Since there are several types of procedures related to obesity surgery, I am not competent to talk about it in more detail, but I can tell you that the prices are quite cheaper than in Germany.

Many people from Europe and the world went to Istanbul to solve this health problem and really managed to lose weight, but I note that it is necessary to be careful and choose the right clinic for any type of intervention. Obesity is a serious health problem and surgery to reduce the weight is serious and you need to find the right doctor to help you.

Most people who followed my experience on social media were interested in how medical tourism works in Turkey. Is it really based on the principle “you come in, go out and it’s over” and after a few days you just fly back home or is it just a fairy tale.

When it comes to plastic surgery, everything is extremely simple. The most important thing is not to make a mistake in the initial selection of the clinic and the doctor, and everything else goes according to plan. The second step is arranging an arrival in Turkey and the first consultation with a selected plastic surgeon.

At the first consultation, you meet the doctor and try to explain all your wishes in more detail so that the doctor understands the reason for your visit, as I explained in detail what bothers me on my nose and face in general. When it comes to communicating with the staff at the clinic, a large number of clinics have staff who speak some of the languages from your country or hire an interpreter who spends time with you at the clinic, as well as afterwards during the operation.

When you have finished the first consultation with your chosen doctor, his assistant will schedule an intervention. Sometimes the clinic immediately offers you the date of the operation, but in most cases the clinic schedules a consultation with the patient in the period when it can perform the intervention, so that enough time is left for the patient to decide after the first consultation.

Local transport around Istanbul, hotel – clinic – hotel is free in most cases so you don’t have to worry about how to get to the clinic and back to the hotel, everything is already organized. As for accommodation (hotels) when you go to Istanbul on this occasion, clinics mostly offer packages where hotels + transport around Istanbul and airport transportation and interventions are included in the price, but it is necessary to agree with the clinic in advance.

My mom and I were given an appointment for surgery which was two days after the first consultation so everything was very fast. You can use your free time to explore Istanbul.

Also a question which was repeated many times was the time which you need to spent in Istanbul during the visit. Depending on the type of intervention, the period that needs to be spent in Istanbul also depends. Calculate that plastic surgery takes between 10 and 15 days, depending on the procedure you are performing.

These were just introductory information about medical tourism, you will get all the more detailed information in my next blog post which will be dedicated to the operations that my mom and I did in Istanbul.

This post will be interesting to you as a kind of tourist guide that you can visit and see in Istanbul before and after the procedure. The operations did not slow me down too much, maybe I rested for 2-3 days and after that I went out on the street to see people and try various Turkish delights!

Everyone who goes to Istanbul for the first time is eager to explore this city and that is why they first head to Fatih, the part of the city where Hagia Sophia is located, the Blue Mosque and other sights for which Istanbul is famous. Of course, there is also the Capali Carsi in the neighborhood (the famous Grand Bazaar) where you can shop for interesting leather goods, sweets and souvenirs. When going to the Grand Bazaar, prepare your negotiating skills because Turks are known as skilled traders and bargaining is an integral part of negotiations. Take 1 to 2 days to tour this part of the city, depending on how interested you are about this kind of sights and shopping.

When you are done with the cultural uplift so that you can brag to your neighbors and friends about seeing some important sights in Istanbul, you can choose whether you are more for a shopping marathon (shopping without borders) or a cruise.

Istanbul is a promised paradise for all shopaholics, without false promises Istanbul is a place where there is a price range from the cheapest brands you can imagine, affordable jewelry and interesting things to extremely expensive things. No one was left empty-handed in this city, everyone found something for themselves and bought it, whether it was a small thing or an expensive thing.

If you are a fan of luxury fashion, and honestly your budget can’t afford it, there are more than 10 outlet shopping malls that are bigger than usual shopping centres in Germany and Europe so you can find everything your heart desires from the most famous brands from previous seasons.

The most famous outlet shopping malls are: Optimum Outlet, Viaport Outlet, Starcity Outlet.

Of course there are others, but these are with a better offer of brands. These shopping malls are located on the outskirts of the city, so get ready for an adventure in local transport. It can be an interesting and unforgettable adventure!

My hotel was close to Nisantasi, a paradise for luxury shopping where you can find all the world famous luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Berlutti, Max Mara, Gucci and others.

Currently, the choice of brands on Nisantashi has been reduced as all the big fashion houses have moved to big malls like Istinye Park, Emaar Square Mall (new mall), Kanyon Mall and Zorlu Mall.

During my last visit to Istanbul, I visited all the mentioned shopping malls, but as soon as I took out my professional camera, security guards came to warn me that photography is not allowed, so unfortunately you will be abridged the modernist beauties of luxury shopping malls in Istanbul, so you will need to feel it by yourself especially now when seasonal sales starts.

Nisantasi is a meeting place for Turkish designers, so if you happen to pay attention, you will notice numerous fashion ateliers that simply entice customers with their creations to look at their latest collections. Diamonds on the dress, no problem! Everything can be found in this city which is located at the crossroads of East and West.

Due to that fact, Istanbul has become a paradise for shopaholics from the Far and Middle East who come to Istanbul to feel the European version of the Oriental East.

Nisantasi is a popular district of Sisli district on the European side of Istanbul. It consists of settlements such as Tesvikije, Mačka, Osmanbey and Pangalti. A popular shopping and residential district, it is one of the most exclusive districts of Istanbul.

Here, as I just mentioned, you can find stores of the most famous fashion brands, department stores, cafes, pubs, restaurants and nightclubs. Abdi Ipekci Street, the most expensive shopping street in Turkey in terms of rental prices, stretches from the Macka and Tesvikiye districts to the center of Nisantasi.

The Nisantasi district is unrivaled in terms of entertainment and cultural content. High class restaurants, cafes and pubs with various additional activities. In the neighboring areas there are large shopping malls such as Cevahir Mall which can be easily reached by public transport or a short walk.

Pangalti, which connects Nisantashi with Mecidiyeköy, is full of local shops and brands. In other words, Nisantasi can give you the opportunity to enjoy prestige and luxury with the ability to have everything at your fingertips.

When I’m on Nisantasi, I always like to go down to the neighboring district of Besiktas, the area where the famous stadium of the famous Turkish club is located and the part that goes out on the Bosphorus. The water always relaxes me and I like to watch the boats and seagulls that adorn this idyllic picture of Istanbul.

Besiktas is located on the European shores of the Bosphorus. The district encompasses important landmarks along the European shores of the Bosphorus, from the Dolmabahçe Palace in the south to the Bebek area in the north.

This area is home to lesser-known neighborhoods overlooking the Bosphorus where you have the opportunity to see expensive villas in Turkish series that we love to watch. I sincerely love this district because of the opportunity to go ashore and see the boats and to enjoy the beauty of the Dolmabahçe Palace, which I sincerely advise everyone to visit when they come to Istanbul.

Although this is a relatively small district of Istanbul, both in terms of population and area, Besiktas is one of the most important areas of the city due to its business and trade zones, historical institutions, universities and of course the fabulous view of the Bosphorus and waterways.

The photo was taken 7 days after the aesthetic procedure

OUTFIT

Jacket: Paul & Shark

Backpack: Bric’s

Jeans: Brunello Cucinelli

Bric’s backpack from the Life Pelle special collection

Here on the coast you can see locals resting and fishing, all the way to those curious tourists like me who came to admire Istanbul and experience this view of Istanbul and the Bosphorus, which we only have the opportunity to see every day in favorite Turkish soap operas.

In addition to shopping, Istanbul is ideal for gourmets because Turkish cuisine is rich and their specialties are unique. If you are more of a street food lover then only three words are allowed: Doner, Börek and Simit. Doner is like Greek gyros that is made exclusively in Turkey with chicken and veal meat with various side dishes, the price of one doner portion varies from 12 to 35 lira depending on the portion size and additives.

Börek is known to everyone, pastry that you will not forget, the price of one serving of Borek is around 15 to 20 lira and finally Simit who never let me down on the street because on every corner in Istanbul you can see an interesting red stroller with bagels that currently cost 2.50 Turkish lira , about 23-25 euro cents. To understand the ratio currency, 1 euro is worth between 11 and 12 Turkish lira.

Istanbul is a city that you just have to love because it gets under your skin. It is a city that awakens a special kind of emotion in everyone. Istanbul is a city with many faces and I am sure that each of you will find at least one that you will adore. This is a city that will delight you every time you visit.

Some people say that it is necessary to come to Istanbul at least until you find at least one answer to the famous question: “Why do you love Istanbul?“.

Every good adventure has its beginning and end, so after less than 3 weeks in beautiful Istanbul it’s time to go home… This adventure was special for me because I fulfilled my greatest wishes and thank you to everyone who took the time to send quick message and to give me words of support. In a few days I will share with you my experience and what my makeover process looked like.

At the very end of this post, I would like to take this opportunity to thank my friends from Air Montenegro who made it possible for my adventure to be just perfect. I sincerely hope that we will meet soon be again and discover the world together.

I invite all travel lovers to visit the official website of the new airline Air Montenegro and book your ticket to Montenegro or some European metropolis! They say that the New Year in Montenegro is magical, it’s worth checking out!

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Bric’s for their trust and look forward to being a member of the Bric’s family and I am confident that together we will embark on new adventures early next year and write some new travel pages of the Mr.M online diary!

My dear adventurers, we have come to the end of this first special post from Turkey which would not have been possible without the selfless help of Air Montenegro and Arpanu Medical Group, partners who made it possible for me to share my impressions of medical tourism in Turkey.

Time always flies when a person has a good time! A man is rich at heart if he has managed to explore the world and I am glad to always be able to find suitable partners for my projects that allow me to discover some destinations in a completely different way during this global health crisis COVID-19.

I am honored to have the opportunity to work with companies that are at the very top in each industry and I would like to thank them for this amazing adventure and for allowing me to experience the charms of Istanbul in a completely different way.

How did you like this story of mine about Istanbul? Have you had the opportunity to visit this magical city so far?

Another Letter from London: Somewhere Between Rain and Wind…

My dear travellers, how are you today? I really hope that you’re doing great, because today I have a special post about London! I have not written posts on the blog for almost a month and I have to admit that this was hard time for me. Before I start with today’s post, I would like to take the opportunity to apologize for the unexpected break due to health problems and press trips where I was further “exhausted” so I failed to recover. For a month, I almost have a cold that I have not managed to heal completely because I was so active, instead of sleeping at my home and drinking some warm drinks like tea… Well, in the end, you never know why it’s good!

Many of you wrote to me on social networks and on the email when I will publish new posts and why I’m not active on the blog? All of you who follow my work know how much I love my blog, but sometimes some unexpected situations happen and I can not achieve everything at once. I promise that we will be hanging out more often this month, and believe me this pause on the blog may be good because you don’t know how amazing new interesting  posts I’ve prepared just for you guys!

Why did I get sick (again)?! Because in the past few weeks, I changed few countries, few totally different climate and time zones so I lost many hours of healthy “beauty” sleep and believe me it’s not good at all! Turkey, Russia, and England totally three different climates, time zones that it’s completely normal that if you’re getting sick on this trip, you just need to start praying to God that you can not return to even more sickness… What happened to me, of course, while I’m writing this post the best friends of mine today are the drops of nose, wipes and a tea. Great!

London was the last stop on this special European “cruise”, you are wondering why I did not start in chronological order like any normal blogger usually do… I think this time has won this little love for the English capital which I had the opportunity to visit in January of this year and I already knew that I’m going to visit again this year, but I did not know exactly when…

This time I had a little more time, full three days, so it’s much better than 48 hours! Believe me when you’re sick, 72 hours looks like an eternity to you. The worst thing that can happen to you when traveling is to GET SICK! The biggest damage is that you came to enjoy and discover something new, but your organism obviously has some other plans for you… Finally, my crazy personality won, so I cried in the room at night with the high temperature, and during the day I was playing a role of the real “Londoner”.

Now I have one “serious” question for you guys, listen up! When you are traveling, do you like to “put in” your schedule and Sunday as well or do you like to avoid this day? Usually people when they plan to travel, they tend to be from Wednesday to Sunday or Thursday to Sunday. Simply, just to have little time to get ready for a new working week. In my case, when I have possibility to arrange my trip, I like to spend that famous day in a certain destination.

Of course, for some it is not interesting at all, but a big metropolis like London, central core on Sunday is almost empty, I know it well because the true British people love to spend their free time at fairs, which are related to the lifestyle itself (food, sweets, teas and other deacons).

I spent this beautiful Sunday on the streets in the heart of London because I like to see nice things, no matter that in 90% of cases I have no financial opportunities to follow these trends, but I always like to see beautiful things and get some inspiration.  Sunday is my favorite day for me in London, because I have all the streets for myself, there is no crowd and I can pretty much look around the shop windows… Lucky me! 🙂

London is a city that is famous for its climate because of the rain and probably you will have more chances to see the Queen in the supermarket buying a bread, rather than a beautiful and sunny day. London as a city is very beautiful and does not bother me personally when it’s cold, rainy and even foggy because in London you can always do something interesting. The only thing I do not like is their obsession for renovating of the building, so every time I visit London always, but literally I always find some London symbol covered as it is being renovated, as you can see in the picture above… Thank God and the Germans do not like so much to renovate , otherwise I would be crazy already…

In the picture above, you can see the most visited place and best spot for the photos if you want to show people that you finally visited London! Who was not in London before, has the feeling that the Picardy Circus Square is so big and reminds a little of New York, but after that same person come to London and realize that this is a big misconception and that Piccadilly Circus such a small square, but that does not mean that it is not beautiful… You should not be blind and to believe to the pictures at IG, because you can disappoint yourself later.

Let me now return to the beginning of this adventure of my travels which started with a trip to Turkey where I had the opportunity to work with the world airline company Turkish Airlines where I met the culture of Eastern Turkey, once again I had an amazing ride with the train after the adventure in India, with a famous train in Turkey that received the label “Turkish Orient Express” – Dogu Express, I meet new colleagues, made some new friends from the Balkan and Eastern Europe region. After this adventure I went to Russia, and as you see, Turkish Airlines has followed me everywhere. I can not wait to share with you all my impressions from Turkey!

Well, I know well that I turned off the topic again, but what to do when I am too much creative and childish and always I want to share with you as much as I can, so I love to write! I like this part of London because I know that I’m getting closer to my most favorite building in London, located in Regent Street at No. 121… That’s the biggest Burberry shop, I like to say the biggest Burberry department store in the world!

The most famous British fashion brand Burberry has captured the hearts of their loyal fans around the world with their eternal elegance and classic trenches and coats, but also Burberry print also became synonym of England and the United Kingdom in general. A fashion story lasting more than 150 years continues to intrigue the world. That’s why, a few years ago, they opened a unique Regent 121 store where literally they have everything, but EVERYTHING! You need some runway model of trench? limited collection of scarves? This is the place for you! Each time I visit this store, my heart just wants to jump out because it would like to take everything home, but of course we come to the real border of reality and the dreams where you realize that if you succeed to buy just one thing, you will bring with you Part of England.

As far as I’m concerned, they could lock me up here to sleep, I would not be upset at all, I do not think I would sleep at all and I would suffer from chronic insomnia because of such nice things here… I think Burberry should consider my proposal to be the part of ” live “inventory of their fashion family and that would be my happy end for me!

During this visit to London, I thought at least a million times: “God, why my photographer doesn’t apply for a visa of UK!”. All this because of these almost half-empty streets that would be ideal for making some photos, but I didn’t have anyone to take some photos of me. On the other hand, how I was ill maybe at least I hid a little my “perfect” look at the moment because of huge fatigue and exhaustion.

The photo which you see above came from the need to try to take the photo of a gentleman who you can see on the other side of the street with red jacket because I liked the jacket very much and I was convinced that it was the same red jacket that I saw on the previous day at a sale in a department store, but it was not my size… Of course, when it was on 70% discount and when I wasn’t the lucky one to get it, but at least this picture turned out fantastic! As I wrote at the beginning of this post: “I believe that everything in life happens for a reason!”.

This building called Liberty House will always remain in my memory when I once was with a friend in London and when we found ourselves near this unusual department store I said that it would be good to check if they have the jacket from the brand that was on some big discount in another shop, she was so horrified and she just had strength to answer: “Marko, how can you look for a jacket in the museum, do you see that is a house in a famous tudor style ?! You’re crazy! “. A few minutes later she was convinced that it was an unusual department store so she did not want to talk to me for a couple of hours because she felt some sort of a shame. ?

My dear travellers once again we have come to the end of our travel adventure. Time just flies so fast when you are having a good time! This post will be my first for this month and there are lot posts to come soon. See you next week, with some new interesting stories!

At the end of the post, I would like to thank my friends from the London City Tourism Board, my friends from Sony who have challenged me again to use new little monster Xperia XZ3, new member of Sony Xperia family. All the pictures that you saw today in this post were created with the help of my new little friend Sony Xperia XZ3 and I began to think that I no longer need to carry the camera on the trip with me. This was a unique opportunity to introduce you a little better with a lifestyle of the city like London and I hope I’m going to visit soon one of my favorite cities in Europe.

How do you like this post about London? Have you ever visited England or UK? Did you have chance to enjoy in the magic of the London? I would like to share with me your experience! If you have a question, comment, suggestion or message for me, you can write me down in the comments. Of course, as always you can contact me via mail or social media, which you can find on the CONTACT page.

This post is sponsored by the London Tourism Board, with the unselfish support of other partners of the tourist organization. I also thank Sony for this challenge and I’ve made some amazing pictures with their new Xperia XZ3. Dear Belgrade, Everything I hide from you…

My dear Belgrade, I have not written you for a long time, I hope you will not be angry on me, because everyday life and duties did not allow me to write you earlier, so I took this morning off to write to you. How are you? What are you doing? Is there anything new in your life? Did anything change until I was gone?

I hope you will have some nice news for me! The newspapers report that the biggest Serbian friend comes to visit us, so if I grab some free time, maybe I will come to see you, and by the way to say hello our great friend. I heard that people is very happy because of him, they are sure that much of things in Serbia will change, maybe the salaries and pensions will finally increase slightly, so the people will at least will have the real feeling that they are actually alive…

My mother wrote couple days ago has wrote me that our lovely elderly neighbour  which we call Aunt Mica is especially feeling happy, telling everyone how she prepared the most beautiful dress and coat she wore at her wedding and kept those things for almost 50 years in her closet because of some special occasion which will happen. When our great friend appears on our TV screens, Aunt Mica does not blink at all, there is no power from too much excitement to do such a thing. I’m glad that at least she will fulfill her great wish, since many of us have not succeeded – Dreaming the dreams with the open eyes.

It’s not bad here abroad, You’ve been working from morning until you see that the sun has gone down, just behind of the buildings that you do not need to search for it. You live somehow, what our people would say: “Life goes on, I will go with it because that’s how it must to be!”. People here don’t know what it means when your salary is delayed, because here everything is well known and when the salary will be paid, all the bills will be directly paid from your account, there is no exception or some delay!

How am I? It’s not bad I’m not complaining, just trying my best to live nicely, I’ve finished various schools and my sister too, because of something, you will feel strange because you’re still away from home. In the first month, you will be caught by depression and nostalgia, but when your new salary transfers on your bank account, you will remember why you left your country. Believe me, my Belgrade, here abroad you live like at the airport, it’s still a free zone, but you are not with them and also you are not with your people. We, Serbs are not a bad people at all, we have not been ever something like that, just our life was something that was not perfect.

Everyone heard about us, books are being written, movies are being made, foreign bloggers come to Serbia… Not everything is so bad in the country of Serbia. It will be all right, but it still has something to change for us. My dear Belgrade, I’m sure you’re wondering what I am doing right now? I’m happy! I’m happy that I will come home, just to see you, by the way and to say hello to a great friend of Serbia who knows maybe he also follows world online trends and he will come out of the car to make some selfies with us who are looking forward to it, I hope it will be! Maybe it will not, but hope dies last!

Tell me as soon as possible if some of our friends are coming soon in Serbia, I will buy a flight ticket on time while these incredible sales of air tickets are on! Ideas I can come to see you for 20, 30 euros! It’s just Incredible!

I have to tell you that I am glad we will soon see each other again, right now I am packing a new white Zara coat, which I bought at the final sales, it was not easy to get it, but it was worth it, believe me! My dream was to welcome our great friend in crystal white coat, which is otherwise a symbol of peace and friendship.

I also bought a nice red sweater at Zara that “survived” even last year’s sale so I bought it for only 4 euros my dear Belgrade. I told myself, “Marko, you need to buy this red sweater just to feel happiness!” So that was my last words, before I heard famous beep which means that my credit card is accepted and I had enough money to buy this amazing sweater.

Are you ready for the guests my dear Belgrade? I am writing to you this letter from the metro, I have to drive precisely 32 stations to the airport and here I come to see you. As always, you wonder what I will wear and I will give you a little hint, but do not tell anyone, give me your word that nobody will know my little fashion secret! All right, here it is!

My travel (fashionable) memories…

Hello everyone! My dear ones, how are you today? I must admit that this little fresh time in Helsinki has prompted me to write this post. I’m just looking at my suitcase and asking myself, why I didn’t bring with me gloves which I need so much now here in Helsinki… After almost every special travel – fashion outfit post, you have asked me how I can be so “perfect dressed” for the trip and how much of clothing I bring with me on the trips. I decided to finally answer some questions. 🙂

I am just like any other ordinary person, I had a lot of downs and ups and at the very beginning of my blogging career I made many mistakes. The blog has taught me that I need to be practical and wear as less clothing as possible, to be carefully chosen and not to overload my suitcase. Sometimes, I repeat my old mistakes…

When I went to India, it was in February this year, I had no idea what exactly I should carry there, so I took it “elegantly” with nothing less than 30 kilograms of luggage because there was a crossover weather time. My luggage included 5 fashion outfit combinations and 4 pairs of shoes. Result: FAIL! From all those clothes I wore only two dress combinations and three pairs of sneakers/shoes. People mostly miss out on a traveling when they pack the travel bag when it comes to that famous crossover period between “winter and spring” and “autumn and winter”… You never know when it will fall some rain or simply get cold, whether there will be stronger winds and other weather disasters.

So in the far, far India, I took almost clothes for all 4 seasons, under the parole much is better than nothing! I did that because I don’t even want to imagine that I will get sick on the trip, this is most honestly my biggest nightmare, I believe as most people also do not like that. Flu can ruin the mood on the road and slow down the person, and as a blogger, it would be an additional obstacle for the successful completion of everyday work on the trip and that would affect on the quality of my content for blog and social media as well.

My first and the most important advice: When traveling to some far destinations during crossover weather season period, it is best to bring some thinner sweaters, which are made of thicker cotton and you should bring a thinner jacket which is good for windy time. In this way, you will avoid the famous “boiling” effect and you will not have a problem with sweating. As soon as I get a little sweaty with open jacket, I’m getting the first symptoms of a cold…

“Life in suitcases” can sometimes be very stressful and unpredictable, but a person gets used to it very fast. It’s not easy for an organism to get used to great climatic variations, so you should give your body an adequate one and pay attention to immunity. The body needs an extra energy intake to “break through” the day on the trip, especially when you are eager to see everything in a shorter period of time.

That is why it is necessary to rest as much as possible and there is not a lot of parties on the trips. You lose your energy unnecessarily and the next day you will not be able to start your day normally. A minimum of 9 to 10 hours of sleep is needed to bring your body in the best shape for the exploring the world. I’m sorry, my dear “party maniacs”, but that’s right! Fortunately, I do not have a problem with that, but I noticed that some of my colleagues bloggers like to spend the nights out on the trips, so they are not sure where they are when they wake up in the morning, because they are so tired.

Let’s go back to the main topic of this post: How to dress up well in difficult times of seasons during the year. The worst is when you travel to exotic areas during the winter period, because in Serbia and Europe it’s still very cold at the time, and no one can’t just easily judge what can be expected there at the final tourist destination.

Germany, for example, is a bit colder than Serbia, weather conditions in Berlin are often more difficult than in Belgrade. There are similar temperatures, there are sometimes larger differences in the same but subjective sense of wind is incomparable.

For example, last winter 2017/18 in Germany was colder than it was in Serbia. I only remember how my visit to Dresden was stiff with cold and I barely did shooting in the city. Regardless of all weather conditions, Dresden stayed in a beautiful memory and I would like to visit it again in the near future. In winter, it is much more difficult for a person, regardless of gender, that women and men are very hard to pack their winter things for the trip, because things are big and fluffy, so jackets can’t just fit in the suitcase properly.

My most honest advice is that you always have two winter jackets for the trip, one thick in which you will travel and another light one which you can pack and “compress” in a suitcase. Just one sweater of neutral color is enough, two pairs of pants are desirable to be one of the jeans, the less chance you will need to iron them and we all know that we are sometimes not very able to iron on travel.

I must admit that my trip to Sri Lanka in April this year was one of the most challenging trips in my blogging career. When you go there in Spring time, temperatures can range from 10 to 30 degrees depending on which part of the island you are going. One day I collected shells on the beach to enjoy the sun and warm Indian Ocean, the next day I’m in a jacket on tea fields…

Then it finally came spring mood, the time when you can wear short sleeves with thinner classic jacket, my favourite fashion piece. Spring and early autumn are the best periods of the year because it is neither too hot nor too cold so that it is much easier for a person to choose clothing.

Spring came with me in Salzburg this year, the city of Mozart, a music prodigy who was a real legend. Just imagine one young man who just conquered the world with his music. People of Salzburg are very proud, because he was born in Salzburg and now he is a symbol of their city. That is a huge privilege! It was a huge honour for me to visit his city and to present Salzburg on my blog.

To be honest, I did not feel the change of spring into the summer this year, there were no such sudden temperature differences, but I felt the real summer in Morocco in early May this year. An interesting trip, I met some new people and I make some new friendships there. There was an unusual friendship in Marrakech, so I would like to use this occasion to remind you on the beautiful young camel Melek, who was very kind and polite so my friend and photographer Saul captured begging of our friendship.

Melek is one beautiful angel, which is also the true meaning of her name. Morocco is a wonderful country and it was a great pleasure for me to have a chance to visit this Kingdom. The rest of the summer was exciting, so I took the opportunity to rest a bit, but I also continued to work, so this year I also had a working summer and I must confess I really enjoyed it.

You’ve been asking me for a lot of things that I did not go somewhere on vacation, so did I lose my desire and the will to write posts? My job is my little satisfaction, of course the blogger’s job can sometimes be very tough, especially when you write and edit images for hours for a couple of days in the row to get the content for the blog as expected in high-quality as always. I love my job and I didn’t regret for one second for choosing this career instead of my career of economist.

Writing is my first passion, something that relaxes me, pictures are just an add-on, and while I describe my experiences and adventures from the trip, I’m always reminded by some new details and it always finish good for me. Because of all these beautiful moments, I admit I love my job. I like to meet the world and when we are talking about traveling then I am completely tireless, although at the end my body sends me a warning message that it is time for a break, so suddenly I get sick for 2,3 days as a forced break. After that I continue on, as if there was nothing, because life is short, and we need to experience all these great adventures that each of us is waiting for!

My dear ones, once again we have come to the end of this special post. Time just flies so fast when you are having a good time! Don’t worry in a couple of days I will publish a new post where we will continue together to enjoy the charms of traveling and we will explore one of the shopping spots in Italy. I just can’t wait to show you what my friends from McArthurGlen Noventa Di Piave Designer Outlet and I have prepared for you guys. I promised that i will write a similar post like this this winter and I will make a new summary with all your guys and I will start with my favourite month in the year – September. I’m sure you know why that month is so important to me, but I will remind you again… Because it’s my birthday! 🙂

If you have a question, comment, suggestion or message for me, you can write me down in the comments. Of course, as always you can contact me via mail or social media, which you can find on the CONTACT page.

As I promised we’ll see again in a couple of days, so if something new and interesting happens to me, I promise, I will write to you!

Best,

Mr.M

One message can make your day…

Hi everyone, how are you today? Finally this nice and warm weather has visited Europe and my dear Serbia. You can feel some cold is the air, but when there are sun rays then it is a bit easier to be outside. I sincerely hope that this nice time has made a smile on your face and that you took advantage of some interesting outdoor activities. Today you will read about the importance of positive energy and how to prepare for the new Fall season.

I hope that you are not like me and that at least you managed to prepare your wardrobe for the new season. Autumn has arrived and you have to pack summer clothes and you will bring out some of your favorite autumn pieces.

Okay, I have to stop here with practical daily tips, but I promise you I will write a new post how to properly put off the old wardrobe. Many of you have asked me about this via e-mail and social media because after a while some unwanted guests – moths. I’ll pay attention to this topic this month, I promise!

The photos for this post were made quite unexpectedly at the end of September, but I decided to publish it as my first post in October and to finish this season. No more short sleeves for this year, we have to wait May next year and then we will enjoy again in the magic of short sleeves.

I remember that these pictures were made on September 19, Wednesday, because it was a busy day of that week because of the duties which I had to do. Since I always carry a backpack and a computer with me because I want to use my breaks in the best possible way. Sometimes it happens that I am very productive and that time simply inspire me to “work” much better and I write the text for a new post.

That day I had 3 important meetings and certain little “holes” in the time that I can use for relaxation – writing new posts. I wrote a couple of PR articles that I had to send to my clients and I thought it was done for today, however … Before I decided to finish my chocolate delight, I wanted to check my e-mailbox for the last time before I leave the pastry shop. New notification – You have 1 new message, I thought again that some brand is sending me a new reminder about their new collection and I want to “eat” myself because I do not have enough money to buy everything I see there…

I’ve been wrong! The title was: “Mr.M, are you ready for the new Fashion Festival?”, I saw it well on the e-mail header that it was an outlet from the McArthurGlen group of outlets located near Venice. Then it occurred to me that I was certainly in some of their customers email base, because I certainly left my email when I bought something there when I was living in Italy during my university days.

Since I had time to open a message and I read text. At the end I saw an invitation, a plane ticket and a hotel voucher. I still do not believe… Few times I read the text and then I realize that I was chosen to be the ambassador of the Festival of Shopping in Noventa Di Piave outlet this year. I have to admit that it is a great honor and I was pleased to accept the invitation and I confirmed my arrival.

Almost 2 minutes later, I took the phone and I invited my photographer just to share this wonderful news. On the other side of the line I’ve got a question: “Where are you? Do you want to take some pictures for the blog today?! ” In about ten minutes, my photographer came and all photos for this post were done very quickly, because I realized that in less than half an hour I have a meeting that can change a lot of things in my blogging life.

The pictures turned out amazing at the end, my indescribable joy and happiness can be seen on almost all of the pictures on the blog, but this day was very special to me. It was an exciting day in September, which I will remember for a long time. Meetings have passed, new collaborations have been arranged and little Marko will spend this winter in some new adventures in Europe and we will explore together new cities and Mr.M blog will have some new stories to share with you this winter…

Sometimes it takes only a bit of trust in yourself, your work and effort to make everything to be realized according to a plan. The faith, the hope, and the power of positive thinking will do their part, but the cards that destiny prepares for us will put us on a test of perseverance.

You should always believe in yourself and what you are doing, because if there is no any kind of faith, everything is without any significance. However your idea sounds unbelievable and crazy at first, it’s your idea and my advice to you is to be persistent till end. If you do not try, you will never know. Be the writer of your book which we usually call LIFE and do not chase to be included in someone else’s life.

If you do not want to help someone, that does not mean that you are not a good person, but simply if you don’t want it, everything is for people except when we talking about destroying someone’s life. Live your life and let others live, help if you can, do not try to cheat on somebody because the life is karma and everything returns in the end…

My dear fashionistas once again we have come to the end of this special fashion post from my beloved Belgrade. Time just flies so fast when you are having a good time! At the end of this post, I would like to thank my friends from Apple Deutschland who have treated me with this wonderful new MacBook Pro which helps me in everyday work so that I can work on my blog much better and it’s much easier for me to edit photos and to finish all my sweet blogger tasks.
