My dear fashionistas welcome to another fashion adventure on the Mr.M blog. Today’s story is a continuation of Tod’s stories and I will do my best to show you some interesting fashion details that have become dear to me in a very short time. In previous posts you had the opportunity to see two Tod’s jackets made of suede leather, if by any chance you did not manage to read my previous fashion stories related to the Tod’s brand, take some time and visit the following links: link 1 and link 2.

Previous Tod’s stories have proven that this Italian brand is one of the few brands on the fashion scene that has remained consistent with its roots and generations. All brands from the Tod’s group strive to maintain an elegant and refined direction while maintaining exceptional quality and result – a modern elegant classic ready-to-wear and footwear.

I have to admit that this fashion piece also surprised me a lot because so far I haven’t really worn a leather overshirt, which can also be worn as a light jacket that can be very practical. When I opened the package and saw the sleeve of this shirt, I was convinced that it was a nice leather jacket, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Tod’s as a brand has always stood out for its quality leather and models that come from craft workshops. Mr. Diego Della Valle’s idea was to create a shoe suitable for both formal and informal occasions, with a casual, comfortable, simple but refined taste.

Today, the Tod’s brand represents the pinnacle of Italian fashion and, in addition to footwear, produces clothes, knitwear and fashion accessories that have found their place in the hearts of people all over Europe and the world.

My outfit today is adorned with a leather overshirt from the new collection for autumn-winter 2021/22, which is a classic timeless model and can always be found in the offer of the Tod’s brand.

In addition to the leather overshirt, my outfit was complemented by Tod’s casual jeans in a beautiful shade of drape color and a leather backpack that with its “military” print brings a dose of a certain sporty elegance to my today’s clothing combination and perfectly closes the fashion circle due to its shades of brown.

Thus, from the center of Puglia, a country rich in resources and resourcefulness, threads of sophistication and excellent craftsmanship are developed, destined to weave the future of the company.

Knitwear is a true art that is passed from generation to generation, a secret that is kept among a select few who, with their exceptional skill and intense passion, still manage to weave a new reality and spread love for finished knitted works of art among people around the world.

Previous and today’s Tod’s elegant outfits as well was completed by a watch from the Akylon collection of the art Swiss brand MUSE, which you had the opportunity to meet in one of the previous posts.

The case is made of 100% titanium in the color of rose gold, while the dial is made of aventurine, a type of quartz that is characterized by its transparency and the presence of mineral impurities in the form of platinum that give it a shimmering or shining effect called aventurescence.

MUSE watches are for all art lovers with refined taste and a sense of aesthetics. The basic idea of the founders of the MUSE brand was to re-examine and present the representation of time through an artistic prism. Mr. Robert and Mr. Leuba replaced the traditional hands, so the hours, minutes and seconds are shown in special art forms inspired by elements of nature and architecture.

MUSE dials are a moving art, time passes and different formations and shapes are made. Watches have become real small pieces of art today, only technology and inspiration have made it possible to enjoy the beauty of shapes that change on the MUSE dial every minute.

My watch is adorned with an Elaphe bracelet in a bronze brown-gold color. The bracelet is made of Elaphe water snake skin, which does not belong to the protected species. Since the entire outfit was in a certain classic tone, I decided to take my favorite sneakers I bought last year for a walk. I have to admit that they complemented this outfit in an unusual way. They may have spent some time in the closet, but in the end they waited for their five minutes of fame! Of course, this shade of drape color goes great with my pastel colors in the wardrobe.

Dear my fashionistas, welcome to the new fashion adventure on the Mr.M blog. Today’s summer story will be dedicated to the Italian brand Tod’s, which we had the opportunity to get to know better in one of the previous blog posts.

Tod’s is synonymous worldwide for unmistakable elegance and refined style, the brand has for years created true style icons of contemporary luxury through its collections of footwear and leather goods for men and women. Each product is made using traditional and modern techniques of top Italian craftsmanship, creating exceptional items that are the subject of “fashion lust” of all fashion lovers from all over the world.

Tod’s fashion group is known for its national and international socially responsible development sustainability projects. One of the most famous projects is “Tod’s for Colosseum” – the restoration of the Colosseum, a symbol of Italian history.

The intervention plan for the reconstruction of the Colosseum is a project commissioned by the delegate commissioner for archeological sites of Rome and Ostia Antica, in cooperation with the Special Group for the Protection of the Colosseum and the Archaeological Area of Rome, and implemented thanks to the selfless support of Tod’s group.

The first phase of works was completed and included the renovation of the northern and southern facades, with an area of about 13,300 square meters, and the replacement of the arch closing system with the construction of new gates.

The renovation plan will continue with the renovation of the Colosseum basement, standardization and implementation of the system and the construction of a service center that allows additional activities to support visitors to this cultural monument.

The second phase of work, which began in December 2018, under the leadership of the new autonomous institute Parco Archeologico del Colosseo, included the hypogea area, a “monument within a monument” a kind of amphitheater located below the arena and in ancient times invisible to spectators . More than 80 people took part in the restoration work, including archaeologists, restorers, architects, engineers and other experts.

At the end of the works, a promenade 160 meters long was set up, accessible to all visitors, which gave visitors the opportunity to see the hitherto unexplored part of the Colosseum, which was not feasible before.

My dear fashionistas, I hope you are well and ready for a new fashion adventure. The health situation in the world and in Europe has changed significantly due to the spread of the new variant of Corona virus – Lambda, I am sure you are keeping and adhering to the health regulations related to the COVID-19 virus.

The current situation reminds us that life is made up of little things that can do a lot and brighten our moment, especially during this current health situation. I am one of those people who find it important to enjoy every moment because life is just one time screenplay.

I honestly don’t know almost a person, who doesn’t like warm weather and enjoying the charms of summer. In addition to nice and sunny weather, we can’t wait for our skin to feel the sun and get as healthy and tan as possible, but it is also important how we will look from the other “fashion” side.

My first association with summer is definitely navy blue, white and red, without which I can’t spend the summer. Famous international brands have presented interesting fashion collections this summer season, the pieces of which we like to see on the covers of numerous fashion magazines or in the recommendations of my dear colleagues, fashion influencers.

Of course, this summer outfit is also inspired by the street fashion of Italy, which sometimes likes to combine incompatible pieces. Honestly, when I got these sneakers, I was thrilled because I’m a big fan of things that sparkle, I also love patent leather shoes because of the shine and easy way of maintenance.

Memorigin is a Hong Kong watch brand founded in 2011 by Mr. William Schum. The brand specializes in tourbillon watches, a mechanism that is often associated with luxury Swiss watch brands. This mechanism is produced in only a few factories around the world. The prices of watches with this mechanism range from quite high prices with 5 or 6 zeros, depending on the watch brand.

The founder of the Memorigin brand explored a possibility to produce a quality middle-class tourbillon, which will sell directly to the growing Chinese watch market and thus reach worldwide market.

Tourbillon watches made by the Memorigin brand are unique because they combine Chinese and Western design elements. At the moment of founding Memorigin, Mr. Schum stated that he wanted to create watches that possessed “Swiss precision with Chinese characteristics and oriental spirit.”

Certain watch models from limited special art collections are often designed by the Memorigin team in collaboration with well-known Hong Kong watch collectors. Memorigin has always shown interest in becoming a custom-made watch brand, not a mass-produced one.

Fashion Diaries: Everything you need for a fashionable summer weekend!

Dear my fashionistas, welcome to the first July post on the Mr.M blog! We are starting the summer season with a new fashion story where I will do my best to give you inspiration for an elegant summer outfit. A lot of you have asked me in the last few days if I have a fashion stylist, since you met some of my friends on Instagram from Vogue Germany, I can tell you that I style all fashion outfits from the very beginning of my blogging career, very rarely in consultation with my friends out the fashion world.

Believe me, people who are not into fashion are sometimes the best style judges because they are neutral and can really see if something really suits you or not. On the other hand, fashion experts rely a lot on the facts whether it is strictly within the current trends and sometimes ignore the fact whether something is good for a person or not.

One common example, a friend who doesn’t follow fashion so often rated this outfit with a clean ten because it looks on me nicely and really fits me, while my friend who works at Vogue said: “This is so 2015, please behave yourself!”. I respect the opinions of both sides and I like to hear constructive criticism that helps me work on myself, but in most “fashion” situations I believe in myself. Whether it was a fashion hit or a pure failure, I always take all the credit!

I imagined today’s outfit to be a kind of summer inspiration for what to wear during the summer, not too elegant, and at the same time to be effective and casual.

For how many years I have been running the Mr.M blog, I think you have noticed that brown shades and pastel colors are common on my blog and that I wear them all year round regardless of the “fashion” season.

You had a chance to see the jacket in one of the previous posts. I have to admit that it has become one of my favorite summer outwear pieces because it is extremely practical and because of the dark brown color it is wearable because I don’t have to think about stains that can be more easily noticed on lighter colors.

Brunello Cucinelli is synonymous with Italian elegance, prestige and luxury that you can feel by touch. When you touch their pieces, it’s really love at first sight. I am a big fan of Safari Field jackets with numerous pockets made of suede leather because they are iconic and timeless pieces that never go out of fashion. Brunello Cucinelli has been making this model for years with small modifications and color changes, but suede leather is always the main material.

This model of jacket is classic and many fashion brands make it in different materials, but from my personal experience I learned that the best models are made of linen,wool and suede leather.

SVEVO Parma silk T-shirt that has definitely become my favorite when it comes to summer knitwear pieces and I think my friends have started to think more about me because every time they meet me they ask me if it is the same silk T-shirt in which we saw you last time?! Apart from the fact that it has become an indispensable part of my everyday outfits, I also wanted to prove its quality, and besides that, it is very easy to maintain, if we only take into how sensitive silk as material is.

For today’s outfit, I decided to change the bracelet on my Memorigin Tourbillon “Time Machine” and show you what this watch looks like in a brown version.

Since the whole outfit was in a certain casual – elegant tone, I decided to wear my new Jacob Cohen sneakers made of pony hair. I have to admit that they complemented this outfit in an unusual way. Of course, the dark chocolate brown color goes great with my summer colors in the wardrobe. Jacob Cohen is an Italian brand that conquered the fashion scene in a short time and managed to reach a high position in the world of fashion and is known for producing famous jeans that have a recognizable detail on them – a “pony hair plate” with the brand logo.

The summer vacation season has begun and many have found own tropical paradise, so I would ask you to respect local laws related to community COVID-19 health situation.

The process of vaccinating the population in Germany has begun and I believe that the situation will soon improve and that our lives will return to normal soon!

I understand that people need to go out into the fresh air for physical activity and mental health, but you can do that by simple walking the city every day, on low-traffic pedestrian streets. Of course, you can walk in parks and other types of green areas or promenades along rivers, but keep the prescribed physical distance, use disinfectants and please wear a mask.

My dear fashionistas, I hope you are well and ready for a new fashion adventure. Today I have prepared a lot of new novelties for you for the summer and I believe that you will find inspiration in this at a very first sight quite simple, but also impressive fashion outfit that I have prepared for you. I believe that summer is one of the most difficult periods for all of us, because of the high temperatures, we cannot wear some of our favorite pieces due to the possibility of sweating.

Today I have prepared an everyday casual combination, which you can wear when you go to town, work, of course if you are allowed to come to your workplace in more relaxed fashion variants or if you decide to go for a quick coffee or lunch with friends. This outfit is of an everyday casual vibe with a dose of sporty elegance.

Fashion used to be very unpretentious and simple! With this sentence I begin our fashion story today in which I will introduce you to new friends of the Mr.M blog. The pieces of clothing and most of the fashion accessories that make up my outfit today come from Italy, but one fashion accessory has come a long way to Berlin and comes to us from faraway Hong Kong. It is a watch, more precisely a tourbillon watch that was made by loyal fans of precious watches that make up the team of the Memorigin brand.

To be able to continue the story of this unusual brand, I would first like to write you something more about tourbillon watches. What are these watches like, how do they work and why are they unique? Tourbillon watches are classified in a special group of watches that are characterized by “great complications”. The Tourbillon system was created in 1780 to compensate for the gravitational forces of pocket watches.

Thanks to this system, the clock mechanism rotates once a minute, reducing the differences between the gain and loss of time with respect to the position of the clock in space. The Tourbillon watch represents a top technical mastery both in the production of parts and in their assembly. This mechanism is usually seen through the dial itself.

Memorigin is a Hong Kong watch brand founded in 2011 by Mr. William Schum. The brand specializes in tourbillon watches, a mechanism that is often associated with luxury Swiss watch brands. This mechanism is produced in only a few factories around the world. The prices of watches with this mechanism range from dizzying figures with 5 or 6 numbers, depending on the brand.

The founder of the Memorigin brand decided that there is a possibility to produce a quality middle-class tourbillon, which will sell directly to the growing Chinese watch market and thus reach other world markets.

Tourbillon watches made by the Memorigin brand are unique because they combine Chinese and Western design elements. At the founding of Memorigin, Mr. Schum stated that he wanted to create watches that possessed “Swiss precision with Chinese characteristics and oriental spirit.”

Certain watch models from limited special art collections are often designed by the Memorigin brand in collaboration with well-known Hong Kong watch collectors. Memorigin has always shown interest in becoming a custom-made watch brand, not a mass-produced one.

The model that complemented my outfit today is the Memorigin watch from the special collection “Time Machine Series“. This model is adorned with a timeless gold-plated rose steel case with a white dial without much detail, nurturing the aesthetics of simplicity and elegance. A luxurious crocodile bracelet emphasizes the elegance of this unusual watch. This watch is an interesting masterpiece, made for all lovers of true beauty and aesthetics that support the “laws of elegance”.

The designer of this exceptional collection of watches is Mark Lui, a watchmaker who believes that precision in time is the only gift that only people who are active in creating their own time can understand. Memorigin brand has really tried to bring every detail to perfection, such as work on smaller dials, the color of the crown, which has a specific design so that people with different tastes understand the value of time in their own unique way. The guiding idea for the creator of this amazing collection was one simple sentence: “Only time has the same value for different people.”

Since we started today with the details, I will continue in that way and I will introduce you to my new friend with whom I hang out on the streets of Berlin and who helps me bring all the necessary things, such as a camera, laptop, chargers because I never know when from the battery failed. Dear fashionistas, welcome to the new fashion adventure on the Mr.M blog. I am sure that the previous week passed in a good mood and that the preparations for the weekend are over and you are ready for a weekend.

Today’s fashion story will be dedicated to the fashion that is popular in the capital of Germany. Many fashion experts consider Berlin to be the center of urban and street fashion. Berlin as a fashion center is quite “modest” because unlike other European fashion capitals Milan, Paris and London, Berlin is unique, authentic and really simple.

The first and basic “fashion” rule in Berliner style (read like the entire German fashion world) is practicality and comfort. In addition, the clothes must be comfortable. Germans exclusively like to feel comfortable in the clothes they wear, they do not like tight and uncomfortable shoes, tight and short jackets and skinny jeans are not part of Berliner fashion trend.

Germans like practical, durable and comfortable clothes, to feel free in their “second skin” for a whole time. Since the sun finally came to Berlin, now the autumn tracksuits have been replaced by summer jeans and silk “pajama tracksuits”. When I say silk pajamas, I mean those colorful silk T-shirts and pants that we can easily put on and go out on the street.

In today’s post you can see how the average German dresses during warmer, sunny days, which believe me there are not many in Germany because springs and summers are much colder here with precipitation so you feel like you live somewhere between rainy autumn and cold winter with some small number of sunny days all year round. Over time, people get used to the climate and learn to appreciate every sunny day you welcome in Berlin.

Speaking of the concept of casual and comfort Berliner street fashion, today I decided to wear my new SVEVO silk T-shirt, which has a classic and timeless cut. T-shirt made of the highest quality silk, short sleeves with a ribbed bottom and cuffs.

The first thing on my mind was maintenance, but as they survived a couple of unexpected rainy walks they have now become my favorite piece!

Of course, the navy blue color with these golden details easily blended in with the other pieces in today’s outfit and the velvet further emphasized the elegant note of this outfit.

Today I present to you an interesting brand from Italy that produces knitwear pieces for men. The SVEVO Parma brand is linked to the history of the Somma fashion family, which in the last century turned their production talent into a true art of producing knitwear.

The founder of the brand is Nicola Somma, a skilled knitwear merchant who arrived in 1892 in the Italian city of Bari and opened the doors of his fashion empire in the heart of the city in Via Abate Gimma street with his vision full of intuition and determination.

The origin of the name of the brand itself is inspired by the famous Norman-Swabian (Normanno Svevo in Italian) Castle of Bari.

This fashion story began in Bari, when Mr. Nicola Somma opened a chain of knitwear stores for men and women, not knowing that he started the “fashion wheel” of an Italian company that still focuses on the values of quality and authenticity.

In 1955, his son Mario Somma founded the first SVEVO knitwear factory for the production of high-quality knitwear, which was made by professional local craftsmen. Thus, from the center of Puglia, a country rich in resources and resourcefulness, threads of sophistication and excellent craftsmanship are developed, destined to weave the future of the company.

More than 60 years ago, in 1958 to be precise, Mr. Nicola, Mario’s son and the eldest son of the third generation of the Somma family, opened a new factory dedicated to women’s knitwear and as an additional production unit of the men’s knitwear collection.

The news of that endeavor at that time was reported by many media in Italy, who described the new supply chain as “classic and delicate fashion steps, where embroidery and weaving are done on old looms with new methods.” With these methods, sweaters, cardigans and other knitted pieces get shine and softness with incomparable quality and do not shrink. ”

In the early 1990s, Nicola ventured into an even more ambitious endeavor, moving to the fashion doors of Parma to write another new chapter in the production history of the Somma family.

In Fidenza, in the historic knitting factory from the 1950s, which was taken over by the Somma family, Nicola starts a new production unit SVEVO together with his son Mario and daughter Vittoria Somma.

In the last 20 years, the company has achieved exceptional results, in Italy and abroad, implementing production capacities and lending its know how technology to the largest luxury fashion houses around the world.

SVEVO‘s latest task based on the principle of developing production “challenge in challenge” is to recognize continuity and tradition as the most authentic sign of quality and comfort, continuing to progress towards the future in a significant opening to progress and fashion industrialization.

The new generation, Mario and Vittoria Somma, manage all activities, from design, production, distribution, branding and communication with partners and consumers.

This is the fourth generation of the Somma family, which preserves the SVEVO brand and passes on the brand’s heritage to the next generation.

The SVEVO brand is always in constant motion between the conception of new fashion lines and the conquest of new international markets, but the brand still relies on a centralized and direct management strategy. Mr. Mario Somma manages the affairs of the creative, commercial and marketing strategy, while Ms. Vittoria Somma directs the development of the collections and all phases of the production chain of the fashion house SVEVO Parma.

When I received the products, Mr. Mario Somma asked me to describe my first impressions and write it in one sentence, I must admit that it is very difficult to do, but I think I succeeded – “Svevo knitwear is characterized by extraordinary lightness and softness of yarn with impeccable design .”

This brand is in itself elegant and casual, I think it has a timeless art form and value.
