Woolrich: We Keep Your Dreams Warm…

My dear fashionistas, happy New 2022 Year! I sincerely hope that the new year will primarily bring us only beautiful things, and let the slightly less beautiful ones remain in the past. I wish you all a lot of health, happiness and love from the bottom of my heart, and the rest will come by itself. I want to thank you and say a big thank you for your support during the previous years and I hope that we will have a good time this year as well.

Today’s post will be dedicated to a new brand that I am sure is familiar to all of you and that you have had the opportunity to notice exceptional pieces of this famous brand with American roots and tradition in Europe and abroad. Today we will meet the Woolrich brand on the Mr.M blog.

Woolrich is a brand that was founded back in 1830 in the United States of America (USA) in the state of Pennsylvania. The basic idea of the brand was to equip people who cultivate an immense passion for nature, who do not see natural elements as a kind of obstacle, but as a life mover. One of the founders of the brand – John Rich once said: “Nature tests and inspires us equally, we are here to encourage our own desire for entertainment and learning about the world around us and of course about ourselves.”

Woolrich is a brand with a long history that has been producing sportswear and outerwear for more than 190 years. This brand is the oldest American outerwear brand. During his first decade of existence, Woolrich mainly created clothes for farmers and wood processors who had to work in extreme climatic conditions.

In addition to them, Woolrich also supplied soldiers during the Civil War with uniforms and blankets that were made from the warmest wool in true American style. True to its heritage, the Woolrich brand is still one of the largest manufacturers when it comes to sportswear and outerwear.

Today, while writing this post, I was thinking about which three words could describe this amazing brand, and I think I came up with the right ones, which are: comfort, durability, resilience combined with simplicity and innovation. This brand nurtures a sporty, but at the same time elegant style that creates various collections every season. Special compositions of natural and artificial fibers create great pieces that are perfect for times when the outside temperatures are low and we need something to keep us warm.

A timeless piece in the Woolrich collection is the Arctic Park, first introduced in 1972, designed to withstand the most extreme temperatures, available with or without a fur collar.

In today’s outfit post you have the opportunity to see the unique Woolrich luxury Polar parka which is made of special Italian eco wool and Loro Piana fabric.

This parka is a unique and iconic winter piece that you should have in your wardrobe. This parka proves top expertise in creating practical pieces that exude modern appeal. Following the example of the legendary Arctic Park, this park you have the opportunity to see in today’s post is made of exclusive eco-wool Blacksheep, which is specially treated for wind and water resistant finishes produced by the Italian luxury brand Loro Piana.

Fantastic composition of duck down, spacious hood and practical pockets provide exceptional comfort and convenience while going out during the cold winter months. It is important to note that the lining of the pockets of this park is made of a special material that has been treated with Polygiene ViralOff® technology, which will have to destroy over 99% of microbes in a period of two hours.

This winter idyll would not be complete without my dear friends from the company Annapurna, which made this perfect 100% cashmere sweater in its new collection of the Aida Barni brand.

The man who wears Aida Barni knitwear does not follow trends, but creates and adapts to the needs of everyday life. The men’s collection is made up of cult clothing items of sentimental value, which evoke a healthy and environmentally friendly way of life. Customers of the Aida Barni brand love natural and fine yarns, enjoy comfort, but do not give up the elegance and sophistication of cuts and models.

Jacket: Woolrich

Turtleneck Sweater: Aida Barni

Trousers: Brunello Cucinelli

Watch: Epos Switzerland

Gloves: Restelli

Sneakers: MooRER

The turtleneck that complemented my today’s outfit is made of cashmere with a special handmade work that takes hours of work and that is why this sweater is so unique and radiates a special dose of “winter” elegance.

Aida Barni concept of men’s “sports elegance” is simple and with style, but rich in materials and inconspicuous details that make this brand cult because it represents an expression of uniqueness and special class.

You can buy Aida Barni cashmere items in multi-brand stores and department stores across Europe and the world and through authorized online stores. When you give someone an Aida Barni piece, it is more than respect and love because you are giving a piece in which love and deep respect for art that is not worshiped every day is woven.

For all Aida Barni fans in Germany, I have discovered two men’s spots where you can find and enjoy in the beauty of Aida Barni incredible knitwear: Braun Hamburg and Mientus retail stores.

If you want to stay tuned and find out all the news that Aida Barni is preparing for us this fashion season, follow them on the social networks Facebook and Instagram.

Of course, as you could see in some previous stories, my old friend that helps me not to be late, while still having one unusual masterpiece on hand, is a wristwatch made by the famous Swiss brand Epos. If by any chance you missed reading an interesting story and history of this company, you can do so by clicking on the link.

There is no person in the world who cannot hide the joy when you feel the smell of the new Italian leather. Today, we are once again hanging out with the Italian family workshop for handmade Restelli gloves, a place where the art, tradition and beauty of handicrafts meet every day, which is the true definition of the Italian style and way of life in general.

Making gloves is not only a job but also a real art. Passion, emotions, tradition and knowledge have been passed on to the third generation after 100 years! Rafaela Restelli has fully accepted the challenges of the new fashion era in which the market and the way of selling have changed with deep respect and belief in tradition and a love for lasting masterpieces!

Restelli gloves are not valued with money, but with a tradition and history full of love and patience that have no price.

My dear fashionistas, we have reached the end of this special post where we discovered the beauty of winter shades of brown color together and I hope you got the inspiration for your perfect winter outfit! We will continue our fashion adventures on the Mr.M blog soon! How did you like my outfit today?

I really tried to prepare today’s post for you with a lot of love and I hope you will like it!

I advise you to listen to my advice due to the current health situation with the new strain of Omicron Coronavirus in almost all European and countries around the world. If you need to go out into the fresh air, take a walk and clear your mind and enjoy the winter magic, feel free to do so, but do not go to places where there are a lot of people and thus encourage crowds.

If you have been fully vaccinated (2 vaccine doses or 3rd booster dose) you need to wear a mask for your own safety. The winter holiday season is underway and many have decided to spend the winter in European cities, I would ask you to respect and follow the local laws related to the health care of the local community.

If you have a question, comment, suggestion or message for me, you can write me down in the comments. Of course, as always you can contact me via mail or social media channels, which you can find on the CONTACT page. See you soon, stay tuned!

With Love,

This post is sponsored by Woolrich, Aida Barni (Annapurna), Brunello Cucinelli, EPOS, Restelli and MooRER brands and represents my personal and honest review of their products.
