Last letter from Malta: Dear diary, it was amazing!

My dear fashionistas, welcome to my new post. I hope that you are well and that you are relaxing on some beach and enjoying the sun. Why am I talking about the sun? In previous posts I regularly complained about the heat and begged just to stop more and then I came to my second home – Berlin…

It seems that the Sun in Germany has lost its plan and program, and here at the moment there is a gloomy and rainy weather, so I see more people dressed in some autumn outfits on the streets. I would never say that it’s July, as I said, the Sun has lost its calendar here!

Well, not to be so negative as I constantly complain about something, at least to finish this series of posts from Malta as it suits – in a nice and cheerful mood!

Yes, you read well, we came to the end of this special series of posts from Malta, and this is my 7th, and also the last post from this special series. I hope you learned something new about this beautiful island country. I’ve tried to show you Malta in my eyes and help my adventures to get much easier on this island.

Through this special series of posts, we walked together along the streets of Valletta and the unusual town of Mdina and we saw some of the incredible natural beauties of Malta. It was a wonderful journey and little Marko had fulfilled one more dream from his loooong bucket list.

The fashion outfit that you have the opportunity to see in the pictures in this post I wore during my last night of Malta Fashion Week. This event lasted until the end of May, but due to my obligations I had to come back home earlier.

The last day in Valletta has just flied so fast, it’s always happen on the trip, the time passes like the flash light and, the next day you regret it because time has come to go home, then you are tired because of the trip and so every time we return from some nice holiday.

I decided to wear my beige pants, yes, I know … They are very bright, very sensitive and you have to watch every time you sit down, but … we bloggers must do everything for beautiful photos! ?

At the end of this fashion “battle”, little Marko came out as a winner because he did not mess his pants, and I must admit to you that wearing light-colored clothes can help you to lose some weight.

I’m sure that you would’t like to see some stains of ice cream or other deacons that can ruin your clothes, so you will lose sugar craving of sweets over time. Now I slowly begin to understand the Italians and the French, because they constantly wear clothes of brighter colours. I think we finally discovered their biggest secret!

Many of you asked me on Instagram and Facebook about this lovely blazer, so finally, I can answer on some of the most frequently asked questions. First, it’s from Zara, the new spring collection – 2019/20, and you can buy it now at summer seasonal sales. As the final downturn is slowly approaching, the price of this blazer is changing so it is not grateful to announce its exact price now. You can check it online on Zara website.

As for other pieces, some are new, others have been in my wardrobe for a long time, and so far you have had the opportunity to see them in some of the previous posts before.

My dear fashionistas, once again we have come to the end of our adventure. Time just flies so fast when you are having a good time! At the end of this post, I would like to thank my friends from Malta Tourism Authority for this incredible adventure and for their huge efforts to make my stay unforgettable and I felt like at home.

How do you like this outfit which I chose for the second day of Malta Fashion Week? Have you ever visited Valletta? Have you maybe had a chance to visit Malta before? I would like to share with me your experience!

Letters from Malta: Stylish and Fashionable Summer on streets of Valletta

My dear fashionistas, welcome to my new post! How are you today? I admit that it’s more boring to remind you how it’s hot as hell this summer, but it’s summer time that we all find our own way to “survive”. Today, I decided to share with you my first outfit post from Malta and at the same time to show you my first outfit I was wearing at the opening of Malta Fashion Week in Valletta.

Before I start, I would like to thank my friends from the National Tourism Organization of the Republic of Malta for a kind invitation. It was my pleasure to meet Malta from a completely different angle and, in addition to the famous stories about the knights and the island of waves, I realize that Malta is an unusual destination, which is, by the way, from the fashion aspect is one developing country.

After finishing with a tour of one part of the island, according to the plan and program, little Marko was supposed to go to the opening of the biggest fashion event in Malta – Fashion Week. This event is very important for the Maltese people, those are the days when Malta shines more and when people go out to gather and show some new fashion pieces from their closets that they might not wear everyday. On another hand that is also the goal of these fashion events, to play with art and to show some personal sense of style and fashion.

I decided to stay consistent with my “boring” elegant style, so I decided to take on some typical Sailor’s style. I’m sure you’re wondering what this Marko is talking about now! This style is based on three basic colors, which are navy (dark blue), white and red. There are also iconic stripes, which are in some way a trademark of this style. Otherwise the rule is that the stripes are almost always horizontal, but since in my life everything is different, I have solved to “turn” them vertical!

“All women love to kiss the sailors…” it is the famous quote, so I wanted to try my luck! It was there on the fortress of St. Elmo a lot of nice ladies, but none of them kissed me, they just came to see new fashion shows, looking for some inspiration… Okay, maybe I will be the lucky one next time.

The St. Elmo fortress is one of the largest open-air war museums in Malta that is of great historical and cultural significance to Malta. Fashion Week was supported this year by the Malta Tourism Authority and other famous companies and they wanted to combine fashion and history. Who watched my Instagram Stories from the fashion shows, you saw the beauty of the creation of various fashion designers. I think this event will remain in my memory because of the incredible location, the incredible smell of the sea, the breathtaking landscape and the interesting fashion creations that were created with lot of love by brands and fashion designers.

Honestly, I wasn’t planning on wearing sunglasses as part of this outfit, but I needed them because of the sun. While I was waiting for a special dinner to celebrate the opening of Malta Fashion Week, I decided to use my time wisely and make some photos of this lovely outfit. I walked around Valletta, just trying to remember about some interesting facts which I’ve learned about this unusual city that day from my guide.

I crossed along the streets Valletta, enjoying in the view of the sea from almost every street. My legs were little swollen, because of long walk that day, but I managed to make some graceful and stylish steps on the streets of Valletta and after I went to the opening of Fashion Week and saw the first shows. Sometimes my life is not perfect as it looks like on Instagram, but I’m trying to make it better at least for myself to have the strength to move on with my life.

I always try to do my job professionally as much as I can. In my job there are 3 sides which always need to be satisfied! First, people who regularly read and follow my content need to find out some value and personal usefulness of my work, second are my clients who also need to be satisfied and the third side – ME. Why? I am happy that I have the opportunity to turn my love of writing into a nice job that has its advantages and disadvantages, but it I truly love it from the bottom of my heart.

My love for fashion and travel has no limits, I do not care where my journey will take me, but it is important for me to have some nice memories and stories that I can share with all of you anytime.

For all these beautiful photos were taken in Malta by my best photographer with good equipment and I am grateful that I have wonderful friends of the blog who believed in me and my work and thus helped me to advance myself and that I can always share with you my memories in the best possible quality images and resolutions. This time we got a little boost, so my camera got “a new eye”, a lens from a special Sony Lens series for professional photographers G Master and I hope you will now enjoy even better photo quality. Thanks again for such a wonderful gift! I like it so much!

Letters from Finland: Last Call for Helsinki

My dear travellers and fashionistas, today I have prepared for you a special treat, because I realized that I missed to share with you one fashion-travel story from Finland. This post will also be the real ending of my incredible adventure that I experienced in the capital of Finland – Helsinki. For those who first read my blog and want to learn more about Helsinki, read the previous posts on this link, I’m sure you will love this lovely city in Northern Europe and will dissolve your heart.

Some people say that memories are not so important and after some time they will disappear from our memory… I disagree with this because I am sure that all the beautiful things that happened to us, all journeys and important memories remain in our subconscious and only is the question of the moment when our mind will again decide to remind us of those same nice moments! ? Since my adventure in Finland, it’s been a couple of months ago, but I still remember the crazy wind that was blowing during our last day in Helsinki.

I would like to back again there, before I start with today’s post I would like to say huge thank you to wonderful Elisabeth from My Helsinki and that I was the part of amazing #MyHelsinkiResidence project. Also, I would like to say thank you to all partners of this project and I hope we will work again soon!

I remember well that we took photos of this same outfit for two days because of the wind and I managed to make some nice pictures for this post, but I completely forgot about these pictures because after Finland I quickly got sick, and the trip to Cyprus followed up after and I completely has forgotten about these pictures. A couple of days ago, a boy from Bosnia and Herzegovina sent me an e-mail that he saw a nice black jacket in the first post from Helsinki, but he did not find a fashion post from Finland with that same jacket and he sent my picture in that black jacket as attachment.

After reading the email, I was not lazy, so I opened my blog and started looking for a post with this black jacket, so I realized that I actually forgot to post these pictures… Helsinki, a cold city with a warm heart was the perfect city for taking pictures of this fashion combination.

I am from those people who think that black colour looks much better on other persons than me and I have always tried to avoid black and grey colours. My mom who always had a great influence on my fashion taste and style always said one and the same sentence: “Marko, my dear child black is not the right colour for you… You are guy with the darker shade of hair, the black colour looks much better on blond person. Simply black on black, it doesn’t go so easily! “. That’s why I’ve always tried to not wear black clothes, maybe I used to have some black trousers, but I was trying to make clothes which going closer to my face to be brighter and cheerful colors, just to look more refreshing.

My best friends from Burberry wanted to send us blogger early gifts for Christmas so I got this jacket at my home address, which I really did not hope for because they wanted to surprise us with a gift for the holidays, and we had the opportunity to complete the outfit after with some other stuff. Since I picked out these gray pants that you see on the pictures and one sweeter orange color, I realized that I made a big contrast, so I decided to take the photos of a sweater another time, so I did not carry it on a trip to Finland.

Honestly, I was planning to shoot this outfit with one turtleneck sweater, which I bought in Zara, so I took it on the trip with me. Like everything else in my life, everything is so complicated, so I managed to burn my favourite roll neck sweater with the help of iron machine that I did not obviously knew to use it properly, because it was totally different with a bunch of options, I hoped that I managed to fit everything nicely, but the wool that sticked to the plate of the iron, so the sweater was burned there…

I was wrong, it was my favorite a piece in the wardrobe, since my skin is very sensitive to the wool, it’s easy to notice an allergic reaction on my skin somehow I succeeded with the softener after a couple of washes to make it good for my skin. Now that same sweater was destroyed, after 3 years of careful using and storage…

After half an hour of criticising myself and few chocolate bites, the photographer told me that he noticed in the past days that there was some special sale note in the window of the Zara, so we went out of the apartment without breakfast and went to Zara. There I found this sweater that fit perfectly and for 12 euros I got a new favourite fashion piece from Zara. Someone will say that the sweater may be a bit “old” for me, but I liked it at first sight and I think it can be combined easily because of these pastel colours stripes.

The last day in Helsinki ended, little Marko almost late for his flight, because the last train with which I could get on time went, luckily the tourist board had an understanding for me, so they helped me with the transport and everything was better than what I could imagine would ever be in my life. Sometimes people are needed for true happiness much less than some people think. I wanted to make nice photos, but I did not think about the time as always…

My dear ones, once again we have come to the end of this special fashion outfit post from Helsinki. Time just flies so fast when you are having a good time! Don’t worry in a couple of days I will publish a new post where we will continue together to enjoy the charms of traveling and soon I will start collaboration with one worldwide airline and this year will be full of adventures and excitements, so be prepared!

Last day in Helsinki was so sad because we left our Aallonkoti apartment where we had feeling like we are at our home. Thank you for having us for a wonderful week, I hope we will see again!

Dear Belgrade, Everything I hide from you…

My dear Belgrade, I have not written you for a long time, I hope you will not be angry on me, because everyday life and duties did not allow me to write you earlier, so I took this morning off to write to you. How are you? What are you doing? Is there anything new in your life? Did anything change until I was gone?

I hope you will have some nice news for me! The newspapers report that the biggest Serbian friend comes to visit us, so if I grab some free time, maybe I will come to see you, and by the way to say hello our great friend. I heard that people is very happy because of him, they are sure that much of things in Serbia will change, maybe the salaries and pensions will finally increase slightly, so the people will at least will have the real feeling that they are actually alive…

My mother wrote couple days ago has wrote me that our lovely elderly neighbour  which we call Aunt Mica is especially feeling happy, telling everyone how she prepared the most beautiful dress and coat she wore at her wedding and kept those things for almost 50 years in her closet because of some special occasion which will happen. When our great friend appears on our TV screens, Aunt Mica does not blink at all, there is no power from too much excitement to do such a thing. I’m glad that at least she will fulfill her great wish, since many of us have not succeeded – Dreaming the dreams with the open eyes.

It’s not bad here abroad, You’ve been working from morning until you see that the sun has gone down, just behind of the buildings that you do not need to search for it. You live somehow, what our people would say: “Life goes on, I will go with it because that’s how it must to be!”. People here don’t know what it means when your salary is delayed, because here everything is well known and when the salary will be paid, all the bills will be directly paid from your account, there is no exception or some delay!

How am I? It’s not bad I’m not complaining, just trying my best to live nicely, I’ve finished various schools and my sister too, because of something, you will feel strange because you’re still away from home. In the first month, you will be caught by depression and nostalgia, but when your new salary transfers on your bank account, you will remember why you left your country. Believe me, my Belgrade, here abroad you live like at the airport, it’s still a free zone, but you are not with them and also you are not with your people. We, Serbs are not a bad people at all, we have not been ever something like that, just our life was something that was not perfect.

Everyone heard about us, books are being written, movies are being made, foreign bloggers come to Serbia… Not everything is so bad in the country of Serbia. It will be all right, but it still has something to change for us. My dear Belgrade, I’m sure you’re wondering what I am doing right now? I’m happy! I’m happy that I will come home, just to see you, by the way and to say hello to a great friend of Serbia who knows maybe he also follows world online trends and he will come out of the car to make some selfies with us who are looking forward to it, I hope it will be! Maybe it will not, but hope dies last!

Tell me as soon as possible if some of our friends are coming soon in Serbia, I will buy a flight ticket on time while these incredible sales of air tickets are on! Ideas I can come to see you for 20, 30 euros! It’s just Incredible!

I have to tell you that I am glad we will soon see each other again, right now I am packing a new white Zara coat, which I bought at the final sales, it was not easy to get it, but it was worth it, believe me! My dream was to welcome our great friend in crystal white coat, which is otherwise a symbol of peace and friendship.

I also bought a nice red sweater at Zara that “survived” even last year’s sale so I bought it for only 4 euros my dear Belgrade. I told myself, “Marko, you need to buy this red sweater just to feel happiness!” So that was my last words, before I heard famous beep which means that my credit card is accepted and I had enough money to buy this amazing sweater.

Are you ready for the guests my dear Belgrade? I am writing to you this letter from the metro, I have to drive precisely 32 stations to the airport and here I come to see you. As always, you wonder what I will wear and I will give you a little hint, but do not tell anyone, give me your word that nobody will know my little fashion secret! All right, here it is!

One Little Red Postcard from Cyprus

Hello guys, I hope that you are doing great. As you know another Friday came to mark the end of the working week. I sincerely hope that this week was not hard for you, but I have to admit that we have received another “uninvited white guest” today in Serbia – snow. Some people really enjoy in snow and other winter magic, but I belong to that other group of people who would, if possible, only snow fall on the mountains as it once is dangerous in the city.

Today I am continuing my story from Cyprus. Today, I’ve prepared for you a small fashion story from Larnaca. I struggle against winter, snow and cold with a sunny, warm and bright post from Cyprus. I think it will help me in a mental way to overcome this current cold that I feel because thank God heating system is not working… again!

Who had an opportunity to read my previous post from Cyprus, I am sure that you are now very familiar with the beauty of this lovely island which radiates and attracts an increasing number of visitors from the world and Europe each year. Who has not been able to read a post, you can do it now – LINK.

I succeeded to make this post on the first morning in Cyprus, because according to the itinerary organized by my dear friends from the National Tourism Office of the Republic of Cyprus, we noticed that we will leave Larnaca the next morning and we will not be able to make a post. That’s why my tired, very sick, but unbridled spirit has decided that it is best to immediately make an outfit post that will mark my trip to Cyprus.

The sunny morning was just calling me outside. I was out of my mind, although I must admit I was sick and I packed the jacket in my backpack, because I had a feeling of coldness, because of my flu. I managed to make myself stand somehow out in short sleeves because I noticed that all people on the promenade were in short sleeves, some even in the shorts, so I was convinced it was just my cold that didn’t give me peace.

What to write about this outfit? I honestly do not have a special story, maybe I bought these interesting trousers in Zara this year in Germany at the final sales of almost 3 sizes bigger and that after I take them to the tailor to style them properly (and they were not done again as I imagined, but at least now they are on me!).

This insane shopping was influenced by amazing nice price… That moment when you that they make a huge discount and your favorite trousers just drop off from 60 euros to 7 euros and you just buy them… That’s what I did with these pants. I received the information that it was the only one size of this model in whole Berlin and they maybe had a smaller size, but in a city that is approximately 300,400 km far from Berlin… I just take them, and I’ll think about the tailor after. Few months later, I managed to fix them somehow, as can be seen on the photos in this post. ?

This red T-shirt, very important to me is also bought at summer sales in Zara, but in Belgrade. I have at least 10 red Zara t-shirts that are similar, nobody in the family sees the difference between them, but I know exactly where I bought a particular shirt and how many times I wear it for the fashion posts. Someone will think that I have “wacked” a little. I can say in my defense that these are nice memories and one kind of training brain normal memory function.

You have seen  these sneakers in two posts so far on my blog, outfit post 1 and outfit post 2 (outfit with leather black jacket). I bought this sneakers this summer in Serravalle Outlet. Again a similar situation as with trousers, I just bought two sizes smaller sneakers, when I saw the price I could not believe so that my shallow blogging pocket finally could have opportunity to by something nice. Thank God I have a fantastic cobbler who always looks forward to every my visit, because I think that I am the most frequent customer and always with the same problem…

Well, now I found out how I got “manage” for this outfit. No one is perfect! My God, we are all human beings with all their good and bad sides that may make life difficult for us or it makes it easier sometimes. Now, while I’m writing this post and look at these beautiful photos from Larnaca, I only remember the sun, the wind and the smell of the sea… This adventure has ended, but now I am at least there when I share with you my memories from Cyprus through my posts, I refresh some nice moments which we had there on Cyprus.

My dear fashionistas once again we have come to the end of this special fashion outfit post from Cyprus. Time just flies so fast when you are having a good time! Don’t worry in a couple of days I will publish a new post where we will continue together to enjoy the charms of traveling and we will continue our adventure in Cyprus.

One message can make your day…

Hi everyone, how are you today? Finally this nice and warm weather has visited Europe and my dear Serbia. You can feel some cold is the air, but when there are sun rays then it is a bit easier to be outside. I sincerely hope that this nice time has made a smile on your face and that you took advantage of some interesting outdoor activities. Today you will read about the importance of positive energy and how to prepare for the new Fall season.

I hope that you are not like me and that at least you managed to prepare your wardrobe for the new season. Autumn has arrived and you have to pack summer clothes and you will bring out some of your favorite autumn pieces.

Okay, I have to stop here with practical daily tips, but I promise you I will write a new post how to properly put off the old wardrobe. Many of you have asked me about this via e-mail and social media because after a while some unwanted guests – moths. I’ll pay attention to this topic this month, I promise!

The photos for this post were made quite unexpectedly at the end of September, but I decided to publish it as my first post in October and to finish this season. No more short sleeves for this year, we have to wait May next year and then we will enjoy again in the magic of short sleeves.

I remember that these pictures were made on September 19, Wednesday, because it was a busy day of that week because of the duties which I had to do. Since I always carry a backpack and a computer with me because I want to use my breaks in the best possible way. Sometimes it happens that I am very productive and that time simply inspire me to “work” much better and I write the text for a new post.

That day I had 3 important meetings and certain little “holes” in the time that I can use for relaxation – writing new posts. I wrote a couple of PR articles that I had to send to my clients and I thought it was done for today, however … Before I decided to finish my chocolate delight, I wanted to check my e-mailbox for the last time before I leave the pastry shop. New notification – You have 1 new message, I thought again that some brand is sending me a new reminder about their new collection and I want to “eat” myself because I do not have enough money to buy everything I see there…

I’ve been wrong! The title was: “Mr.M, are you ready for the new Fashion Festival?”, I saw it well on the e-mail header that it was an outlet from the McArthurGlen group of outlets located near Venice. Then it occurred to me that I was certainly in some of their customers email base, because I certainly left my email when I bought something there when I was living in Italy during my university days.

Since I had time to open a message and I read text. At the end I saw an invitation, a plane ticket and a hotel voucher. I still do not believe… Few times I read the text and then I realize that I was chosen to be the ambassador of the Festival of Shopping in Noventa Di Piave outlet this year. I have to admit that it is a great honor and I was pleased to accept the invitation and I confirmed my arrival.

Almost 2 minutes later, I took the phone and I invited my photographer just to share this wonderful news. On the other side of the line I’ve got a question: “Where are you? Do you want to take some pictures for the blog today?! ” In about ten minutes, my photographer came and all photos for this post were done very quickly, because I realized that in less than half an hour I have a meeting that can change a lot of things in my blogging life.

The pictures turned out amazing at the end, my indescribable joy and happiness can be seen on almost all of the pictures on the blog, but this day was very special to me. It was an exciting day in September, which I will remember for a long time. Meetings have passed, new collaborations have been arranged and little Marko will spend this winter in some new adventures in Europe and we will explore together new cities and Mr.M blog will have some new stories to share with you this winter…

Sometimes it takes only a bit of trust in yourself, your work and effort to make everything to be realized according to a plan. The faith, the hope, and the power of positive thinking will do their part, but the cards that destiny prepares for us will put us on a test of perseverance.

You should always believe in yourself and what you are doing, because if there is no any kind of faith, everything is without any significance. However your idea sounds unbelievable and crazy at first, it’s your idea and my advice to you is to be persistent till end. If you do not try, you will never know. Be the writer of your book which we usually call LIFE and do not chase to be included in someone else’s life.

If you do not want to help someone, that does not mean that you are not a good person, but simply if you don’t want it, everything is for people except when we talking about destroying someone’s life. Live your life and let others live, help if you can, do not try to cheat on somebody because the life is karma and everything returns in the end…

Postcard from Italy: One Summer Can Change Everything

Hi everyone, welcome to my new post. I hope you are well and you are ready for new challenges! Spend this Sunday in the best possible way, surprise yourself and your loved ones with a nice time in the nature because the autumn vibe is in the air and this nice, warm and sunny weather will not take much longer. Today I decided to share with you the last summer fashion outfit post for this season.

Italy is a country that leaves no one indifferent. It is a country full of contrast, when you travel from the south to the north of the country you have the feeling that several different countries and cultures you have passed. The Italian way of life, that concept of “La Dolce Vita” is true only if you live in Italy. I almost read somewhere some research in the newspapers the average time that people in the world and in Europe spend annually on work.

Of course, the first place is taken by Japan over 1300 hours, on the second place, if I’m not mistaken it was Norway, then Germany and somewhere on the list was Italy with 500-600 average hours spent at work. It was a very interesting statistic, even more interesting was the comment by the Italian woman who was sitting next to me at that moment because I had a small break so I decided to get to know my colleagues and people from the marketing world a little bit.

She invited a few more people, most Italians just to read the statistics. One comment made me smile so cute that I felt the need to share with you today. Matteo, a guy who is a little older than me, was born near Florence, said: “I do not know just did they also counted our two-hour daily breaks for espresso in these 500-600 hours!” It was a joke that made us smile at all to tears, but we agreed that perhaps the Italians are not the biggest “working bees”, but that they all get finished on time at least with their “Dolce per niente” famous quote which means the sweetness of doing nothing.

At that moment, my photographer, who had “broken” the party with the words that it was time for work! I was on my way to becoming a true Italian! I didn’t make it this time, but I have to admit that time has just flied by and we had a longer break than it was famous Italian two espresso hours, but when you do creative things and the job that is related to photography every minute is precious because the sun does not wait for anyone. What you did, you just did!

Soon we have finished our work and with relief we could spend the rest of the time on Como. For all those who are not referred to the Como is at the same time the name of the city and the lake that Italy unselfishly shares with Switzerland. Lake Como is one of the deepest lakes in Europe and the third largest lake in Italy. Como is one of the most beautiful lakes in Europe surrounded by the magnificent Alps and it is a popular monumental resort of aristocracy and rich people from the time of the Roman Empire, and today the “playground” of stars such as Madonna, George Clooney, Donatella Versace and many others…

I have taken advantage of the beautiful weather and this incredible photogenicity of Lake Como to make these interesting photos. If you ever wish to visit this lake, keep in mind that you should spend at least one full day here just because of cruising. I’m sure this will be a great experience for you and that each of you will have your special moments to remember.

I captured my most beautiful moments and I can proudly say that this year was one of the most beautiful in my life. An incomparable year filled with smile and positive energy, just like my burgundy outfit. 🙂

When I got these trousers, my first thought was I could not take it because I do not have enough boldness, but when I found this t-shirt at the final sale in Zara, I immediately knew that it would simply be that winning combination with these unusual red trousers. You already had the chance to see these sneakers in a couple of previous posts and I have to admit that they were my favorite fashion piece of this summer season. White sneakers are always modern, maybe I’ll “transfer” them to the new fashion Fall season!

One Day in September…

Hi everyone, how are you today? I am sure that this title has associated you with another essay, which you once had as a topic for homework when you were at school… I know that I also had the same problem to think of the name of this post. For hours I just watched in the keyboard, but the inspiration has left the building. After an interesting summer, it was time to rest for a couple of days and now I’m preparing for new adventures that await me at the end of this month. I just can’t wait to share it with you guys!

Few days ago, I received a message from my friend. She heard that I finally came in Belgrade and we had to go on a little coffee break and of course one round of chit-chat.

I immediately agreed and postponed some of the duties that I had on that day. At the end of the conversation she just mentioned that I should took the camera with me and that if I had something important to shoot for the blog. She would like to me photos of me, if I have some free time. I’m thinking in my head for a few seconds, “Man, where’s my camera?!”. When you do not use some things for a couple of days, you forget about them completely.

People who know me know how much I am organized and that I all write my appointments and important tasks and duties in a special diary, and just cover over the obligations and meetings I have to do. I did not notice one collaboration because I seemed to be at some point my minds were away, so I was a little creative and almost painted one part in my diary. After a few seconds, I saw the writing “Beige pants for post – publish until 29.08”. At the moment of shock, I said, “Oh man, I have the time today is just 11. I do not have to shoot it today…

I continued to look at things in the closet further and I just took the clothes which I was planned to wear. First I played my playlist for a happy mood, turn on the flatiron and I started to iron in the rhythm of some Latin song and at that moment hit me in the head “MARKOO YOU’RE STUPID MORON, NOW IS SEPTEMBER!”. I take my planner quickly again to turn all of the pages to find the page with my calendar of posting on the blog and realize that I am late seriously for this job!

With the speed of light I found trousers because clothing in my closet is organised ver well, I can thank my mother who regularly reads the diary and she make the right order of the things that arrive when I am not there. No one cares as a mother… I turn on the iron again to refresh the trousers, I continue to sing and dance in the rhythm of music with the iron in my hands, yes it’s crazy I know! A message from a friend: “I’m going to be late for 15 minutes, do not make a panic!”

This girl knows how I’m sensitive when we talk about delays. I just thought about that if she only knows how late I would not stay alive from her nasty comments. I’m proud that I’m very well trained to iron all types of trousers, men should make some special monument which will be dedicated to all of the women who know to iron classic trousers, who knows this, believe me if you already have learned this you finished the most important exam at the “life school”! ?

This feeling of happiness and pride was short, because I realized that the t-shirt which I just ironed at all did not combine at all with the colour of the trousers. I started to look for another shirt that it will stick better with this outfit. Yes! I just found an ideal shirt that was already ironed, you can not understand that dose of luck, I just wanted to cry because I don’t need to use that iron machine again!

At the end, little Marko was late for more than ten minutes, but we did not care about it because when we started with our stories that have no end at all. We did not see each other for months and we had too much to tell, but since we are the professionals we have been able to short everything in record time – ONE hour! All important things which happened to us for all those months we put it all in one hour of conversation. She mentioned to me a course of photography and that she would like to use my camera and to make photos of me for the blog, so I suddenly became the first model she officially photographed…

Frankly, I am very pleased with the results of our first collaboration and I hope that we will continue our collaboration in the future. She tried to “get me in special model pose”, but that’s almost impossible! I’m not a professional model that you’ll put in a mold, some photographers tried to change me many for my career with the explanation that the images will be much better and “viral” on social networks and the Internet, but this was never of any concern for me. It is better to remain with the thing which you already have and to stay unique and original, without popularity than to sell yourself for what?

And this time Belgrade’s streets helped me well and now must post have some special extended value for me. Many of you asked me if I forgot my beloved Belgrade. I’m not coming to often… You can never forget the place which is your home! Maybe I have the opportunity to explore the world, but I will always return to my Belgrade again and again. This was a short episode “Marko is coming home” and I hope you liked my little adventure in Belgrade. I would like to take the opportunity to thank the Italian fashion brand Eleventy for wonderful cooperation and understanding, as well as my friend for these beautiful photos.

Time does not pass, it continues…

Hi everyone, how are you today? September is perhaps the most boring month of the year because people are returning from vacation, and it is not also very lucky for the pupils, because the new school year begins. I did not particularly like this period in my life, but when all this goes on then realize that it was all the funniest period and that all these worries were the easiest because the world of adults is much different. I always had one very good reason to love September. The answer is simple – my birthday! It’s always easier for me to go to school because I knew that next day I would get gifts and then I’ll forget all my troubles in my school life.

We are now coming to that other most important topic – ageing and how to survive first crisis… To be understood, none of us like to be old and I’m sure that each of us wants to simply remain “frozen” in some year of life just to be refresh and young. Before, I was constantly wondering why the elderly people hide their years, and then I come to the age of 26, and I realize that everything has passed so fast. Today, I was really thinking about some of the things that I managed to accomplish so far.

I wish I could get up tomorrow to celebrate my 22nd birthday, but that’s impossible. I can make it easier for me, so instead of a candle in the shape of numbers, I simply put a small “pile” of candles on a cake and maybe it will be easier for me, unless I cause a fire in the house! 😀

I wanted to try it a couple of days ago when it was my mom’s birthday, but when we realized how many packages of candles we should buy, we decided that it was best to buy a cupcake and one small simple candle.

It’s still a couple of hours left to summarize my impressions and to make some good wish for this birthday. Every year I have the same wishes: happiness, health, and to fill my suitcase with memories from the journeys. This year was full of adventure. I managed to get into my “online” diary only the nicest thing the world can offer. Asia, Africa, Europe… Three continents that I visited this year, but my spirit wants to explore more, to go further. Perhaps by the next birthday I will visit other continents! “Everything is possible to those who believe” is the famous Jesus quote, which has helped me a lot.

I will make sure that I am going to celebrate this 26th birthday with a smile on my face and with great hope that this 26th year of my life will be the most successful year with a lot of new adventures. Pictures for this post were made in a city that certainly marked this year in my monotone blogging life – Milan. Milan is not only a cool and modern city in where everything is just too fashionable. There’s a lot more to do and see when you walk through those lovely streets, these are not just shops, it’s true artwork, it’s just a question of how your eye will recognize it.

Italy is a country where hedonism is preserved on its invisible throne, and all your senses will have only one simple task, which is to ENJOY! It’s an adventure you can not miss, a story that will have many sequels, nice things to remember. Rome, Milan, Venice, Naples… should I continue to enumerate? A country that you will always be happy to return again and again for another extra dose of excitement and an adventurous adrenaline that will make your entire journey more interesting.

Yes, that is Italy, it’s much more than the famous “Made in Italy” label. I honestly believe that the most beautiful dreams are tailored in the land of eternal classics. I could write to you much more, but I’m in hurry because I need to iron stuff which I will wear tomorrow for my special meeting with my Belgrade. Special rituals are involved in my life so I love to enjoy on the streets of Belgrade with an ice cream in my hands and of course as always with the smile on my face.

This post is a clear evidence that once in life for certain things it is necessary to believe that everything will be better and a lot of people claim that it has helped them a lot in some situations in life. That is the power of positive thinking, which has never left me for my 26 years.

Story from Berlin: Can You keep a Secret?

Hi everyone, how are you today? Welcome to my new post! Last week, I promised you the continuation of a story from Berlin…

At first, I would like to thank my friends from the Berlin Tourist BoardVisit Berlin for the support which they have provided and the incredible patience which they have for me because my German is at the basic level and I teach it and I constantly “want” from them to talk me about Berlin’s interesting facts in German, so I will learn easier this language! So let’s start with our today’s adventure!

I promised to all of you that I would show you the famous Brandenburg Gate. When the previous post was taken, the gate was renovated. In Germany, they usually have a kind of custom to use summer holiday time for reconstruction of buildings of exceptional importance because they are preparing for the new autumn/winter season and then the largest number of tourists come to Germany, especially in Berlin.

In the previous post – LINK, I wrote you about the famous bus lines 100 and 200 that help you to “cruise” and get to know Berlin better. I showed you the famous Brandenburg gate, I have fulfilled the promise and now  I can slowly walk to another location that is very beautiful to me and you should visit it when you already found yourself in the heart of Germany.

Slowly, but surely we are approaching to a Parliament. This part of the city is new and the architecture itself is modernist. The Parliament building itself is an older building, but there are certain elements such as the famous glass dome that you see on almost all of the postcards that represent the city of Berlin is almost new. Of course, it is open to visitors, but it is reserved for the bravest and with the greatest patience as the crowds are unbearable, so most people give up on sightseeing.

I always like to come here on the shore, sometimes I lean on the fence and watch the boats which are full of tourists and they love to wave people on the shore. Sometimes you just have to admit that these smiling faces also make you happy and I’m always gladly wave them, especially to the children, because who can resist the children and their amazing smile.

I usually come here when something is “wrong” in my life and does not go exactly as I planned, I buy something to eat, usually it’s a piece of fruit cake with blended raspberries, so I play sorrow scene like Carrie Bradshaw in Paris, just in Berlin! (and without that perfect French music which you hear when you watch that famous scene in Paris!).

This time, I wasn’t sad, but very happy to bring you to my second favorite place in Berlin! Really, how can I be sad when I have this cheerful shirt which I bought at final sale in Zara for just 7 euros. It can only be a reason for celebration and new photoshoot.

I did not even plan this shooting, I already had these trousers and sneakers on me. I bought the shirt that day and called the photographer to ask him when we can take some new photos for the blog, I just got the answer: “What are you doing now?”. My standard answer: “I was in Zara, the final sales are on, so I have to tell you…”. A brief sigh and silence meant that I should stop with the story of Zara! You know that my photographer does not like Zara, he does not like discounts, he does not like shopping at all… After a minute, an SMS message arrived: “See you in front of Brandenburg in 20 minutes!”.

So it was like we planned, after 20 minutes and my dressing up in the second Zara store… On the way, I bought new trousers! Forgive me, but they were 9 euros, I had to buy them! There, who would say that this shirt will fit in with my outfit, this looks so good. It is true that what people say is best to do things that are not planned.

These pictures of Parliament are very important and a bit different to me, and again that little Marko with a great desire to make new photos and of course to make a new post. Who knows when this little child in me will eventually grow up, maybe sometimes, and maybe never.

I have not met my dear Angie (Angela Merkel), I am waiting for the day when she will give me the honorary blogging order of honor and keys of Berlin because I “cleared” all the most important steps and benches in her city. Please, if someone has “connections” please, help me to meet her. One of the neighbours tells me that she lives near the Brandenburg gate and everyone is happy when they see her in one of the surrounding butchers shops. I went a couple of times, spent the money there, but I did not meet my dear Angie.
