Gobi Cashmere: Do we know all the Secrets about the Royal Fiber?

My dear fashionistas, I hope you are doing great and ready for a new fashion adventure this Friday. In the previous days, I wondered in which direction my blog was going and whether my content was useful for my readers. I asked a question on Instagram and many of you answered that they learned many tips, tricks and advises on clothing maintenance, skin care and hygiene, which I was extremely glad to hear such answers.

Today, I decided to share with you some of the many facts about cashmere, the royal fiber that the GOBI Cashmere company makes with a lot of dedication and love in the heart of Asia – Mongolia. If you want to remember some details from the previous fashion story about the GOBI Cashmere brand, visit this link.

Did you know that Mongolia is the 19th largest country in the world in terms of area with 21 provinces. Each of them has its own characteristics in terms of natural beauty, which has a great impact on goats, and thus on the quality of cashmere. Based on decades of experience, GOBI Cashmere procures its cashmere directly from the 7 provinces where this royal fiber is the best.

After the goats are combed during the hair change in the spring, this valuable royal fiber GOBI Cashmere brand is bought directly from shepherd families. Direct purchase, without intermediaries, enables more favorable prices for customers, guarantees good quality and ethical responsibility as well.

Since the direct purchase of cashmere affects the lower price of the final GOBI Cashmere products, it is also important to find out how the highest quality cashmere products are made in Mongolia. From “raw cashmere” to the final product on the shelf in the store, there is a long way to go, but the whole process takes place in one place – in the GOBI Cashmere factory in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia.

The process takes place in 16 stages of processing and production. In each of the stages, the greatest attention is paid to details in order to obtain cashmere products that meet all the requirements and needs of customers. GOBI Cashmere strives to combine interesting and modern design with advanced technology and thus create innovative knitwear that can be worn all year round.

What are the 16 processes that take place in the GOBI Cashmere factory so that we can enjoy the softness of the finest cashmere items? I will try to briefly describe the production process.

Conceptual and creative product design development – The design development process refers to all knitted and woven products that need to be sewn. Before making a cashmere garment, it first exists in the imagination of the creative team, after which sketches are drawn. When the technical sketch is ready, the first samples can be made. Depending on the design, special instructions are developed to help program the production system in which the factory sample is made for mass production. After that, the factory sample is subjected to precise testing and adjustment of production. Production of the design begins only when the conceptual and factory sample fit completely. A special code is added to the sample, the production price is calculated and a production time frame is created.

Sorting – At the beginning of the production process, cashmere is sorted. The raw material is delivered directly from the nomads in the steppes to the GOBI Cashmere factory, where each fiber is sorted into 19 categories according to color and origin, and it is important to note that all this is done manually. You can never be too precise and for that reason there is a quality control that assesses the strength and condition of each thread. The sorted goods are then weighed, packed and stored. It is now ready for the next step in the production process.

Rubbing (fiber screening) – At this stage, more happens than just washing and purifying the fibers. Before and after each production process, there is a special quality control, then the fibers come to a large machine, where they go through a special washing procedure depending on their micro-consistency, length and color of the fibers. After washing, the fibers are dried and tested before being sent to the next production step on the production line.

Fiber Combing – Washed and dried raw cashmere is packaged for special fiber combing. Raw cashmere is placed in a large comb with sharp combs. Soft combs are separated from coarser combs. The result of this production process is an airy cashmere that resembles a cloud that is so soft that you just want to touch it and take it home. The obtained fibers are carefully collected and a manual quality check is performed before the next step – dyeing and mixing the fibers. Due to the use of large machines, the whole process is specially monitored for the safety of workers.

Dyeing and bleaching of fibers – In the GOBI Cashmere factory, an average of about 1800 colors are created. They all range from very faint shades to more vibrant, strong colors to cover a wide range of colors. The dyeing and bleaching process begins when the combed cashmere is transferred through a tube into a deep cylindrical basket, from where it is poured into a larger fiber dyeing machine. In accordance with health and safety standards for customers and workers, only approved Swiss-made paints are used. To obtain the desired color, an automatic color recognition system is used so that color differences within the spectrum can be recognized. After dyeing, cashmere is dried by a special method using radio frequencies. Radio wave drying is efficient and practical due to its deep penetration and moisture balance. By heating the fibers from the inside, a hot and dry outer layer is avoided and in that way further processing of cashmere is facilitated.

Fiber mixing – To get the perfect shade and the best fiber blend. During this process, different types of fibers are mixed and also different colors of the same fibers are mixed to obtain the appropriate color. All defects of crude fiber are opened and disassembled according to a special recipe from the company GOBI. They are then coated with finely atomized substances to protect the fibers from cracking in the next phase of the mixing process. This is known as carding. The carding machine is equipped with rows of sharp combs to soften the fibers and comb them into a single layer removing the remaining imperfections and all impurities.

Woolen “Spiders” Patterns (thread making) – The process by which yarn is made for weaving and knitting. The thickness of the yarn must be made of solid threads. Combed raw cashmere is usually stretched after the mixing and carding phase, a process known as wool spinning. The stretching and twisting of the fibers is done by a machine that takes up a lot of air in the yarn, making it very light and elastic. During this procedure, each strand is examined for possible defects and cracks that may occur. Wrapped with a machine on combs, the strands are then ready to be twisted into threads and prepared for the knitting process.

Spinning is a process where the fibers are combed and straightened in parallel. Unlike “wool spinning”, cashmere twisting occurs later in “anchor spinning”. The air is expelled during twisting and the result is a smooth, heavy and even yarn. With each passage through the spinning machine, the fibers become thinner, which enables more precise execution of seams and facilitates the knitting process.

Knitting is a process performed with the help of the Japanese modern knitting machine WHOLEGARMENT. As soon as the design process is completed and the patterns are made, the appropriate yarn is assembled in the knitting factory and the design is coded in the knitting machine. Usually the front and back of garments and sleeves to be sewn. With WHOLEGARMENT machines, knitwear can be made in one piece, which saves a lot of time and work. The collars are still sewn by hand.

Finishing process – Knitwear at this time has not yet taken the shape expected. It is necessary to make the material and fibers softer and smoother. This takes place in a “finishing process” that gives the final product softness and smoothness. The product is measured and then the steps of dipping, rinsing, washing, drying, sorting and shaping are repeated. Then accessories such as buttons, buttons, labels, stickers with size information and brand names are added.

Weaving is another technique used in cashmere processing. The products obtained with this technique are most often scarves, blankets and other fashion accessories. Threads from the spinning mill are sent to weaving, where they are knitted and machine-woven. Quality control ensures that designs meet high standards before products are finally “hand-processed”.

Hand weaving process – After the loom, the product is not finished yet. In the phase of hand weaving, brushing and hemming take place, where scarves and blankets are covered with fringes. The products are then washed, washed and dried until a soft and smooth woven product is obtained.

Final finishing of the fabric – the last phase before the delivery of the product takes place through the process of finishing the fabric. It’s all about the final details of soaking, drying and jogging, weighing, labeling and smoothing before the product is ready and ready for delivery.

Fabric printing process – Printing scarves play a major role in this process. Exciting and colorful designs are coded into machines, which then print wonderful patterns on the fabric. In this process, the quality is also measured and of course checked.

Sewing process – In this process, cashmere coats and jackets are sewn. Tailoring is the most important step, followed by sewing the cuff, collar, edges, lining, cuffs and sleeves, which, as well as hemming, are done individually. After each phase, quality control is performed before the product is labeled and packaged for delivery.

Making embroidery – The finished cashmere product is stabilized during the embroidery process. A transparent stabilizer is placed on top of the garment to ensure that the threads that make up the design remain on the surface. After the machine embroidery procedure, the stabilizer is removed and a beautiful, unique embroidery can be seen.

These are briefly described all 16 manufacturing processes in the company GOBI Cashmere, I believe you have now created a certain image in your head that all the processes go through cashmere from entering the factory as fiber to the final product on store shelves.

Cashmere is much more than a soft and warm material from which quality and luxurious clothes are made every day. It is a depiction of a way of life, a long tradition that has developed from generation to generation. GOBI Cashmere is making efforts to protect Mongolian nomads and their goat herds by introducing the ability to track the cashmere fibers used to make GOBI Cashmere fashion pieces.

This option gives you the assurance that you have become the owner of the softest and finest piece that was made with a lot of love by the experts of the GOBI Cashmere team in Mongolia.

What does the process of traceability GOBI Cashmere mean? The GOBI Cashmere tracebility process means that every production step will be recorded from start to finish and all processes will be preserved. In order to be able to document the origin of each strand of cashmere fiber, many records need to be made. GOBI Cashmere presents its new project on the possibility of tracking cashmere fibers.

This project will provide an opportunity for all customers to find out where the cashmere from which their garment is made in Mongolia comes from. Because cashmere is indeed a sustainable source of raw materials, each product received a monitoring rating based on several factors. In one of the following posts, I believe that this revolutionary project will mark a new era in the fashion industry.

I am sure you are interested in learning more about this unusual and traditional brand from Mongolia so you can find all the information on their official social media channels on their Facebook page and official Instagram profile.

Today’s elegant outfit was completed by a watch from the Akylon collection of the art Swiss brand MUSE, which you had the opportunity to meet in one of the previous posts.

The case is made of 100% titanium in the color of rose gold, while the dial is made of aventurine, a type of quartz that is characterized by its transparency and the presence of mineral impurities in the form of platinum that give it a shimmering or shining effect called aventurescence.

My watch is adorned with an Elaphe bracelet in a bronze brown-gold color. The bracelet is made of Elaphe water snake skin, which does not belong to the protected species. For all additional information and news about MUSE watches, you can follow them on their official Facebook page and Instagram profile.

MUSE watches are for all art lovers with refined taste and a sense of aesthetics. The basic idea of the founders of the MUSE brand was to re-examine and present the representation of time through an artistic prism. Mr. Robert and Mr. Leuba replaced the traditional hands, so the hours, minutes and seconds are shown in special art forms inspired by elements of nature and architecture.

MUSE dials are a moving art, time passes and different formations and shapes are made. Watches have become real small pieces of art today, only technology and inspiration have made it possible to enjoy the beauty of shapes that change on the MUSE dial every minute.

The time on all MUSE watches is displayed in an unusual way: The disk closest to the sapphire crystal represents seconds, the middle disk is used to display minutes, while the disk closest to the dial is used to display hours. The largest geometric shapes are always for displaying the change of hours, to the smallest for displaying minutes.

The MUSE brand has artistic limited watches that are classified into 6 special collections: Akylon, Kagura, Stella, Stella-S, Tanoura and Kyrian.

Since the whole outfit was in a certain classic tone, my friends from Mytheresa decided to please me with unusual Christian Louboutin unusual Louis Orlato sneakers with spikes that complemented this outfit in an unusual way.

Of course, burgundy color goes great with my pastel colors in the wardrobe, and these unusual spikes further accentuated this fashion combination.

I really tried to prepare today’s post with a lot of love and I hope you will like it! See you in a couple of days with some new interesting story!

I advise you from the bottom of my heart to listen to my advice due to the current unfavorable health situation in almost all European and countries around the world. If you need to go out into the fresh air, take a walk and clear your mind, feel free to do so, but do not go to places where there are a lot of people and encourage crowding.

The process of vaccinating the population in Germany has begun and I believe that the situation will soon improve and that our lives will return to normal soon!

I understand that people need to go out into the fresh air for physical activity and mental health, but you can do that by simple walking the city every day, on low-traffic pedestrian streets. Of course, you can walk in parks and other types of green areas or promenades along rivers, but keep the prescribed physical distance, use disinfectants and please wear a mask.

If you have a question, comment, suggestion or message for me, you can write me down in the comments. Of course, as always you can contact me via mail or social media channels, which you can find on the CONTACT ME page. Stay tuned!

Gobi Cashmere: Mongolian World of Cashmere

My dear fashionistas, I hope you are doing great! I am sure that you have done all the preparations for the weekend and that you have organized time for yourself and your family. Spring in Germany is significantly different from spring in the other parts of Europe, which is a bit refreshing. The climate in Berlin is varied, throughout the year, but mostly a colder climate prevails. The springs are windy and with a lot of precipitation, which have all the characteristics of autumn.

Why is it perfect? For me, it is an ideal climate because I am a big fan of knitwear and then I have the opportunity to wear them through several seasons!

Today, I present you a brand from Mongolia that processes “royal fiber” into pieces that warm people around the world. Founded and built by the Mongolian community, the GOBI Cashmere brand combines tradition, modern innovation and technology to make pieces of the highest quality cashmere for almost 40 years.

GOBI Cashmere offers the finest and most luxurious pieces made of cashmere. This brand is known around the world for special cashmere coats and is the only company in the world that exclusively produces cashmere clothes with many years of experience, great love and passion.

One of the most important questions arises: Why is cashmere extremely important for Mongolia?

There is a hidden gem in the interior of Asia, more precisely somewhere between Central and East Asia, which was overshadowed by its larger and wealthier neighbors. This gem is Mongolia – the land of the royal fiber that the world knows by name – Cashmere.

Did you know that Mongolia is a world leader in cashmere production and participates in about 50% of world production on a global market, which indicates the quality of production. Mongolia has slowly but surely become recognizable on the world fashion scene.

The importance of cashmere can best be seen in the rural areas of Mongolia where economic development is encouraged. Cashmere is a source of income and employment for more than a third of the population of this unusual Asian country and a large part of nomadic families that make up 90% of the total household income.

Mongolia’s economy depends on cashmere production due to the cold and dry climate of Mongolia, which is not ideal for the development of agricultural branches. Due to the lack of many resources in the country, cattle became their most valuable asset. For these nomadic families, their survival plays a crucial role, while they maintain and transmit centuries-old traditions. Today, shepherds are increasingly relying on the cashmere industry.

In addition to participating in improving the financial value, cashmere has played a vital role in the professional training of shepherds and enabling them to participate in the business fashion world. GOBI is one of the few companies in the world that gives shepherds the opportunity to eliminate intermediaries and thus make direct sales. To prevent the possible use of cashmere knitwear by the world’s leading brands, they also have the freedom to negotiate directly with customers so that they can have a voice and set a price. Unfortunately, this business opportunity is not available in most rural areas, but GOBI is working to improve conditions.

Even the inhabitants of large cities in Mongolia recognized the dedication and work of their nomadic colleagues. For them, it is something more than just a piece of luxury cashmere clothing. Over time, the GOBI brand has become a part of the national identity that the Mongols are very proud of.

Cashmere has always been synonymous with cloud-like quality and unique softness. Fibers obtained from cashmere goats are three times better thermal insulators than sheep wool. Wool is combed during the natural process of wool shedding, when goats begin to change their wool and “lose” their winter fur coat.

Shepherds with generational knowledge manually comb cashmere fibers to protect goats from overheating and secondary diseases such as ticks. This is the best, most sustainable and most humane way to get cashmere. This way of getting cashmere is almost like a massage. Cashmere is a very delicate material, but with proper care, you can wear your favorite cashmere items for a long time.

The Mongols take cashmere for granted because it is one of the most valuable materials that is part of their tradition. Almost every Mongol can get it at a reasonable price and enjoy the quality and characteristics of this material. At the same time, high-quality cashmere is still one of the most luxurious fibers that can be found around the world, including countries like Mongolia that produce more than is needed.

Cashmere is much more than a soft and warm material from which quality and luxurious knitwear items are made every day. It is a depiction of a way of life, a long tradition that has developed from generation to generation. GOBI is making efforts to protect Mongolian nomads and their goat herds by introducing the ability to get know more information about the cashmere fibers used to make GOBI fashion pieces.

This option gives you the assurance that you have become the owner of the softest and finest piece that was made with a lot of love by the experts of the GOBI team in Mongolia.

MUSE: New Artistic Era of watches…

My dear fashionistas, how are you today? This spring was spent in cheerful and interesting fashion stories. I would like to thank you for the wonderful messages of support and suggestions for the Mr.M blog that you send me every day. In the previous months, I wrote to you about some new brands of watches that have beautified my outfits and some of them have found their way to your hearts, and I am glad that my recommendations have helped you find your ideal friends with whom you spend time.

A watch is more than just an instrument used to measure time. With the development and modernization of the watch industry, watches have become real small pieces of art that adorn our hand on all occasions. We wear the watch when we go to work, when we go for an casual city walk, but also on those formal occasions when we reach for a little more elegant pieces that would complete our outfit.

The watch is sometimes an ideal gift for people who are dear to you because a watch is a special gift and is given from the heart. Watches are like people, with different characteristics and temperaments, and every watch finds its owner, it is a thin thread of connection that is felt the moment you open the box and see your watch. When someone gives you a watch, believe that you mean a lot to that person and that you have a special place in their heart.

Today I present to you a Swiss brand of art watches that has moved all limits and presented a new modern era of timekeeping – MUSE. When you read the brand name, you understand the importance of art and inspiration, which are just one of the basis of this unusual young Swiss watch brand.

This young brand was founded in 2016, in response to today’s fast-paced lifestyle, allowing art lovers to slow down and enjoy the moments that mean something to them. Is it possible to stop time?

Science has not proven that yet, but the MUSE brand achieves this with a slow-motion display of time, enabled on luxuriously made watch models from special 6 collections.

The duo behind this Swiss watch brand is made up of two industry experts and big watch lovers Pascal Robert and Frédéric Leuba. What brought the two watch engineers together with decades of experience is the love for watches and the vision of merging the classical watch tradition and the elements of contemporary art.

As I said at the very beginning of today’s post, watches have become real small pieces of art today, only technology and inspiration have made it possible to enjoy the beauty of shapes that change on the MUSE dial every minute.

In the following post, I will tell you the details of each collection that are specific to the MUSE models.

All MUSE watches are available in two sizes: 37 and 44 mm. The hexagonal shape of the MUSE watch case is very common and their watches are made of titanium. Titanium, as a material, is not only extremely light, but also very useful due to its resistance to corrosion and scratches. In addition, titanium is considered hypoallergenic, which is an ideal material for all those fans of watches who are looking for nickel-free watches that cause allergic reactions.

If you are looking for a watch for everyday use with great artistic value, MUSE watches are the ideal choice for you.

The watch I chose to be my partner in the new adventures is the Akylon GT. The watch case is made of 100% titanium in the color of rose gold, while the dial is made of aventurine, a type of quartz that is characterized by its transparency and the presence of mineral impurities in the form of platinum that give it a shimmering or radiant effect called aventurescence.

My watch is adorned with an Elaphe bracelet in a bronze-gold color. The bracelet is made of Elaphe water snake skin, which does not belong to the protected species. For all additional information and news about MUSE watches, you can follow them on their official Facebook page and Instagram account.

The jacket you have the opportunity to see today is from the new Brunello Cucinelli SS21 collection, a classic iconic timeless model of a suede Safari model jacket made of suede leather with 4 pockets. You can always find this model of jacket in the offer of the Italian fashion house Brunello Cucinelli, only the colors always change depending on the season. Like all products of this renowned fashion house, this piece is made of the highest quality materials, in this case of the finest suede leather which is extremely light and due to its color easily fits with almost all related colors that you can wear during spring, summer and autumn. current drape and beige tones.

Jeans are also part of the new Brunello Cucinelli collection for spring – summer and I can tell you right away that these jeans have become my favorite piece in the wardrobe this season. I’m sure you’ll see them more often this summer on my blog!

Today I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to another new brand on the Mr.M blog that comes to us from Sweden. Stenströms is an internationally known Swedish fashion brand for its exceptional quality. Using only the best fabrics, the Stenströms company makes classic and modern clothes. A perfect blend of tradition and elegance with the constant development of manufacturing technology based on 120 years of sustainable craftsmanship.

This spring, novelties also arrived from my friends Picard Lederwaren, who supported my adventures around the world for years, and Picard’s leather friends never let me down. Fashion Diaries: Wish upon a Berliner Style…

Dear fashionistas, welcome to the new fashion adventure on the Mr.M blog. I am sure that the previous week passed in a good mood and that the preparations for the weekend are over and you are ready for a weekend.

Today’s fashion story will be dedicated to the fashion that is popular in the capital of Germany. Many fashion experts consider Berlin to be the center of urban and street fashion. Berlin as a fashion center is quite “modest” because unlike other European fashion capitals Milan, Paris and London, Berlin is unique, authentic and really simple.

The first and basic “fashion” rule in Berliner style (read like the entire German fashion world) is practicality and comfort. In addition, the clothes must be comfortable. Germans exclusively like to feel comfortable in the clothes they wear, they do not like tight and uncomfortable shoes, tight and short jackets and skinny jeans are not part of Berliner fashion trend.

Germans like practical, durable and comfortable clothes, to feel free in their “second skin” for a whole time. Since the sun finally came to Berlin, now the autumn tracksuits have been replaced by summer jeans and silk “pajama tracksuits”. When I say silk pajamas, I mean those colorful silk T-shirts and pants that we can easily put on and go out on the street.

In today’s post you can see how the average German dresses during warmer, sunny days, which believe me there are not many in Germany because springs and summers are much colder here with precipitation so you feel like you live somewhere between rainy autumn and cold winter with some small number of sunny days all year round. Over time, people get used to the climate and learn to appreciate every sunny day you welcome in Berlin.

Speaking of the concept of casual and comfort Berliner street fashion, today I decided to wear my new SVEVO silk T-shirt, which has a classic and timeless cut. T-shirt made of the highest quality silk, short sleeves with a ribbed bottom and cuffs.

During the production of SVEVO products in the weaving process, special very small holes are made on the back of each garment in a number that varies depending on the size, starting with one hole for size 46.

It is a trademark of the SVEVO brand, regardless of use and condition of the product, even in case of loss of the label, it is always possible to determine the originality of the garments of the Italian brand SVEVO Parma.

Resort knitted jacket is one of the best-selling clothing items of the SVEVO Italian brand. This type of jacket is a necessary item in the wardrobe of every man. The characteristics of this jacket are elegant and simple lines with decorative seams that fit every man perfectly and easily fit into a sophisticated modern image of a man.

This jacket is ideal for all transition periods, when you are not sure what to wear when you leave the house, and it is too warm outside for a winter jacket, but it is not warm enough for short sleeves.

Knitwear is a true art that is passed from generation to generation, a secret that is kept among a select few who, with their exceptional skill and intense passion, still manage to weave a new reality and spread love for finished knitted works of art among people around the world.

If you missed my previous story on the blog, you can visit this link and read the amazing story about this unusual knitwear Italian brand. A story about the brand with a long family tradition, exceptional quality and constant innovation.

Today’s casual, street elegance outfit was complemented by a watch from the Schroeder 1877 collection “Gentlemen Renaissance” model Broker with a rose gold case and a brown crocodile bracelet.

This watch was created from a scratch that was researched and developed over the years by engineer Fred-Eric Bolzli. The watch shows local times in the cities where Schroeder Joailliers jewelry products are represented: Luxembourg, Moscow, Dubai, Shanghai, Tokyo and New York.

Even this time I had no dilemma which watch I would put on my hand because the Schroeder The Broker watch was made as an ideal combination of the inevitable rose gold color case with a bracelet of an iconic and timeless dark brown color.

For all those who did not follow my previous fashion adventures, this watch is a novelty, so I suggest you read the Schroeder story and get acquainted with this unusual brand from Luxembourg, I am sure you will like their incredible story. I used these wonderful sunny spring days in Berlin to walk my velvet sneakers, which I was a little “cold” at first because I was afraid that velvet would fit my style. The first thing on my mind was maintenance, but as they survived a couple of unexpected rainy walks they have now become my favorite piece!

Of course, the navy blue color with these golden details easily blended in with the other pieces in today’s outfit and the velvet further emphasized the elegant note of this outfit.

My dear fashionistas, we have reached the end of this special post where together we discovered another myth about the German cult of street fashion! How did you like my elegant-casual outfit today?

I really tried to prepare today’s post for you with a lot of love and I hope you will like it!

I understand that people need to go out into the fresh air for physical activity and mental health, but you can do that by simple walking the city every day, on low-traffic pedestrian streets. Of course, you can walk in parks and other types of green areas or promenades along rivers, but keep the prescribed physical distance, use disinfectants and wear a mask.

If you have a question, comment, suggestion or message for me, you can write me down in the comments. Of course, as always you can contact me via mail or social media channels, which you can find on the CONTACT ME page. Stay tuned!

SVEVO Parma: Italian Elegance and Sophistication woven into every piece of fine yarns…

Dear my fashionistas, welcome to the Mr.M blog! I believe that all the preparations for the weekend are over and that this working week passed in a good mood! Earlier this week, I received an email from one reader who regularly follows my blog and who sent me interesting suggestions that can be introduced on the Mr.M blog soon. The last sentence in her letter brought a smile to my face: “Dear Marko, believe me, even the birds know for Friday is the day when you send us your new letters and it is the time to relax, grab favorite drink and candies and enjoy in new fashion stories on Mr.M blog! ”.

I honestly can’t describe my happiness when I read your emails because I’m glad that my blog work brightens someone’s day and that you use your free time to embark with me on fashion adventures and travel adventures around the world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful words and I hope that we will hang out so nicely in the years to come!

Today I present to you an interesting brand from Italy that produces knitwear pieces for men. The SVEVO Parma brand is linked to the history of the Somma fashion family, which in the last century turned their production talent into a true art of producing knitwear.

The founder of the brand is Nicola Somma, a skilled knitwear merchant who arrived in 1892 in the Italian city of Bari and opened the doors of his fashion empire in the heart of the city in Via Abate Gimma street with his vision full of intuition and determination.

The origin of the name of the brand itself is inspired by the famous Norman-Swabian (Normanno Svevo in Italian) Castle of Bari.

This fashion story began in Bari, when Mr. Nicola Somma opened a chain of knitwear stores for men and women, not knowing that he started the “fashion wheel” of an Italian company that still focuses on the values of quality and authenticity.

In 1955, his son Mario Somma founded the first SVEVO knitwear factory for the production of high-quality knitwear, which was made by professional local craftsmen. Thus, from the center of Puglia, a country rich in resources and resourcefulness, threads of sophistication and excellent craftsmanship are developed, destined to weave the future of the company.

More than 60 years ago, in 1958 to be precise, Mr. Nicola, Mario’s son and the eldest son of the third generation of the Somma family, opened a new factory dedicated to women’s knitwear and as an additional production unit of the men’s knitwear collection.

The news of that endeavor at that time was reported by many media in Italy, who described the new supply chain as “classic and delicate fashion steps, where embroidery and weaving are done on old looms with new methods.” With these methods, sweaters, cardigans and other knitted pieces get shine and softness with incomparable quality and do not shrink. ”

In the early 1990s, Nicola ventured into an even more ambitious endeavor, moving to the fashion doors of Parma to write another new chapter in the production history of the Somma family.

In Fidenza, in the historic knitting factory from the 1950s, which was taken over by the Somma family, Nicola starts a new production unit SVEVO together with his son Mario and daughter Vittoria Somma.

In the last 20 years, the company has achieved exceptional results, in Italy and abroad, implementing production capacities and lending its know how technology to the largest luxury fashion houses around the world.

SVEVO‘s latest task based on the principle of developing production “challenge in challenge” is to recognize continuity and tradition as the most authentic sign of quality and comfort, continuing to progress towards the future in a significant opening to progress and fashion industrialization.

The new generation, Mario and Vittoria Somma, manage all activities, from design, production, distribution, branding and communication with partners and consumers.

This is the fourth generation of the Somma family, which preserves the SVEVO brand and passes on the brand’s heritage to the next generation.

The SVEVO brand is always in constant motion between the conception of new fashion lines and the conquest of new international markets, but the brand still relies on a centralized and direct management strategy. Mr. Mario Somma manages the affairs of the creative, commercial and marketing strategy, while Ms. Vittoria Somma directs the development of the collections and all phases of the production chain of the fashion house SVEVO Parma.

When I received the products, Mr. Mario Somma asked me to describe my first impressions and write it in one sentence, I must admit that it is very difficult to do, but I think I succeeded – “Svevo knitwear is characterized by extraordinary lightness and softness of yarn with impeccable design .”

This brand is in itself elegant and casual, I think it has a timeless art form and value.

Knitwear is a true art that is passed from generation to generation, a secret that is kept among a select few who, with their exceptional skill and intense passion, still manage to weave a new reality and spread love for finished knitted works of art among people around the world.

I will share with you a small piece of the story of the Schroeder jewelry brand. Schroeder Joailliers was founded back in 1877, the official supplier of the Grand Ducal Court, which has a long family tradition behind it.

Fashion Diary: Something old, something new, something blue…

My dear fashionistas, I hope you are doing great and you are ready for a new fashion adventure on Mr.M blog. I believe that you are tired from the last working week, but the weekend is coming and I am sure that we will all recharge our batteries for new victories to come.

As the title of the today’s post says, I will show you how I managed to combine something new, something old and something blue, so we will see how successful I was in that task!

My friends from my hometown tell me that the weather in Belgrade is wonderful, I sincerely wish I could brag about how wonderful the weather is in Berlin, but these days I have more of an opportunity to wear a raincoat than an interesting spring jacket. I don’t know if it’s just some of my subjective feelings, but I think that the weather climate have changed significantly, this spring has the typical characteristics of autumn.

Morning and evening temperatures are lower, sometimes with precipitation and the weather is quite unstable. I experienced in one day during the photo shooting that I experience heavy dry snow like you can see in Snow Globe, the sun is shining, it is raining and all that at the same time of course, is accompanied by a strong wind. I know it seems impossible and amazing, but the weather in Berlin is changeable and people don’t even know how to behave anymore and what they should wear.

When I saw the first rays of the sun, the only thing I could do was send a quick message to the photographer with the words: “I think now is the right time!”. After I got an answer from the photographer to be ready and “to make it happen” in 20 minutes, I only had enough time to brush my teeth and at the speed of light put on the things I had been preparing for days and fitting into this outfit.

The turtleneck that you have the opportunity to see on me today is certainly at least 3, maybe 4 years old, if you will believe me, I never wore it because I did not have the courage to make a perfect fit it with my other items in the closet. I think that the speed this time was crucial and that’s why I put on this turtleneck without thinking and went to take some photos.

As I write this post and look at the pictures, now I realize that the quote: “It’s never too late! Everything in life happens for a reason and at the right time! ” I think that this turtleneck, no matter how funny it seemed, waited too long for its “five minutes” and that I gathered the courage to take it.

You know why I adore Berlin? It is one of those European capitals where there are no fashion rules and official codes… You can go out to throw garbage in a ball gown or if you are not in the right mood you just can go outside in total home casual lounge wear, everything is allowed.

A couple of days ago, I read the German Vogue magazine and saw the headline – “Are you ready for the blue fashion wave?”. I am not one of those people who blindly follow fashion trends, but I got the inspiration to find some blue details from my wardrobe and include some of them in my new fashion story.

I don’t think you can guess how that fashion battle through my closet looked like, since there were things on all sides and the first thing I saw was a navy blue Burberry trench coat and this time it was the base item for me to fit the fashion details in this outfit.

Since the coat had leather details on it, I didn’t give up until I found these pants that have a leather line because I had a feeling that they would be the perfect choice.

There was a dilemma between 3 sweaters: dark navy blue, royal blue and this azure blue sweater that you have the opportunity to see on me today. Honestly, if I had time to think, I don’t think I would have chosen this sweater because it is too intense in color to be covered, so I was constantly waiting for the ideal opportunity and a better sunny day when it could be worn individually.

As for the choice of watch, I really didn’t have a dilemma because the Schroeder Joialliers watch was made as an ideal gold-black combination and because of the details on the coat, I just know that it will be the ideal choice.

For all those who did not follow my fashion adventure last week, this watch is something new to my watch collection, so I suggest you read my previous story and learn something new about this unusual brand from Luxembourg, I am sure you will like their story.

I will share with you a small piece of the story of the Schroeder jewelry brand. Schroeder Joailliers was founded back in 1877, the official supplier of the Grand Ducal Court, which has a long family tradition behind it.

The new redesigned Schroeder Timepieces “Etrier” watch has Quartz “Ronda 515” movement, white dial with guilloché center and 3 Arabic numerals, and date indicator located at 6 o’clock.

You know that I never leave the house without a backpack and because of that there is always my best friend Picard who never leaves me. This backpack you see today in my post has survived adventures with me across Europe and the world, but as you can see we are still like new and fresh, always ready for some elegant occasions and city adventures.

Watch: Schroeder Joailliers 1877

Sneakers: Loro Piana

I owe you a story about sneakers, but believe me, it’s not that interesting because as a “double” virgo in my horoscope, because of my obsession with cleanliness, I arranged and clean up 5 pairs of navy sneakers and left them to dry. If I tell you that these are really the first sneakers that I saw in the last second and managed to get close to the trench just to see that the colors match, happy that I fit the outfit nicely, I had to go back to the apartment because I forgot the backpack… Sometimes, it happens!

Can you guess what is hidden in this wonderful package? I managed to find out only after this photo shoot because we took a picture on the way to the post office and I didn’t want to open such a wonderful gift on the street, but to keep this wonderful decorative paper in the warmth of my home, the color is beautiful! You know how much I love decorative papers and I like to collect and keep them all…

I know, it sounds hard, but it’s been my hobby since I was little! My mother could never clean up the house of decorative papers from gifts and fine stickers, when I went to college on one occasion she accidentally threw everything away because she mixed up the boxes and today I can’t regret that I was left without those wonderful decorative papers.

My dear fashionistas, we have reached the end of this special post where together we discovered another new fashion trend that will be trending this spring! Do you have in your closet some interesting blue fashion piece that you plan to bring out and see the light of day? How did you like my outfit today? Share with me your opinion!

Schroeder Joailliers: Place where tradition and innovation meets…

My dear fashionistas, welcome to another new fashion adventure on the Mr.M blog. I hope you are well, healthy and safe, so I think we are all ready for one new fashion story. Today we will talk about the family values and creativity of a traditional jewelry brand that comes to us from the heart of Western Europe – Luxembourg.

The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is a country located between Germany, France and Belgium, which is considered to be one of the richest countries in the world in terms of gross domestic product per capita.

Just make yourself comfortable, relax, grab your favorite sweet treat and drink and our time to enjoy this Friday and weekend time can begin!

It is an interesting fact that Luxembourg has three official languages in this country, Luxembourgish, French and German. The culture of Luxembourg is cultural mix by a centuries-old combination of German and French influences. The country has a population of just over half a million, almost half of whom are foreigners. Luxembourg is both a parliamentary democracy and a constitutional monarchy, its ruler, Grand Duke Henri, is the only monarch in the world with that title.

Today, I will introduce you to a family jewelry brand that comes from Luxembourg. Schroeder Joailliers was founded back in 1877, the official supplier of the Grand Ducal Court, which has a long family tradition behind it. In addition to its main jewelry store located in the heart of Luxembourg, this jewelery house also has its own jewelry and watch workshop in Paris.

I know that you are used to get know some interesting details about the history of the brand, so let’s start. The story of Schroeder jewelry began back in 1860 when Mr. Lambert Schroeder left his hometown of Luxembourg to continue his apprenticeship programs in London and the United States.

A few years later, when he returned to Luxembourg in 1877, he opened his own jewellery shop, in the same place where you can still find the Schroeder Maison. Mr. Lambert Schroeder, in addition to being a skilled merchant, appointed his creativity and passion as the basic values of the working value and policy of the jewelry Maison Schroeder. He had a great passion for making quality gold jewelry and was an ambitious innovator significantly ahead of his time.

His only son Ferdy Schroeder learned the engraving craft in Paris and took over the company with the difficult task of running it during the period during the two world wars. His great skill in his art brought him the prestigious title of the Supplier to the Court, which the jewelry house Schroeder still holds today.

During 1979, was the year when Mr. Pierre Rossi, grand-nephew of Lambert Schroeder and current director of the Schroeder Maison joined the company. Under his leadership, Schroeder jewelry has expanded internationally by deploying in different markets and participating in various exhibitions and fairs on five continents.

The family tradition continues, so that at the board of directors of the jewelry house Schroeder, in addition to Mr. Pierre Rossi and his wife, their daughters Anna and Sophie also got involved in this incredible family business. This fifth generation continues the family tradition that is associated with traditional approach, know-how and creativity.

Schroeder Joailliers has a diverse offer of sophisticated jewellery, high jewellery, watches and accessories for her and him, which will complete your style and bring freshness to your everyday life.

Today I will show you a new, redesigned look of the dial that is the result of the creative skill of co-owner Gaby Schroeder, who in collaboration with the most eminent Swiss manufacturers created a new look for the Etrier watch collection of the Schroeder Maison. Traditional classics with the best Swiss mechanisms got a new modern outfit!

The new redesigned Schroeder Timepieces “Etrier” watch has Quartz “Ronda 515” movement, white dial with guilloché center and 3 Arabic numerals, and date indicator located at 6 o’clock.

There are different models for men in the Etrier collection, the watch I wear today is with a black leather bracelet and a gold color of the case with a diameter of 40 mm. The models in the Etrier collection can be made in leather or metal bracelets, you can see more models at this link.

If you want to be up to date and find out all the news that Schroeder Maison is preparing for us, follow them on the social networks Facebook and Instagram.

The coat, turtleneck and the jeans are the gifts from my dear friends from the Brunello Cucinelli. A coat with beautiful details made of leather and processed wood is truly a timeless piece that, due to its incredible design and quality, can be worn by several generations, if properly maintained.

The turtleneck is of a classic cut, a neutral beige color that will serve any fashion combination, there is nothing better than a pleasant touch of cashmere on cold days.

Jeans are a must have piece in my wardrobe, believe me I stopped counting them more, but it is always useful to have a few pairs of jeans as they are great for any occasion, especially if they are in some darker shades.
