Gobi Cashmere: Mongolian World of Cashmere

My dear fashionistas, I hope you are doing great! I am sure that you have done all the preparations for the weekend and that you have organized time for yourself and your family. Spring in Germany is significantly different from spring in the other parts of Europe, which is a bit refreshing. The climate in Berlin is varied, throughout the year, but mostly a colder climate prevails. The springs are windy and with a lot of precipitation, which have all the characteristics of autumn.

Why is it perfect? For me, it is an ideal climate because I am a big fan of knitwear and then I have the opportunity to wear them through several seasons!

Today, I present you a brand from Mongolia that processes “royal fiber” into pieces that warm people around the world. Founded and built by the Mongolian community, the GOBI Cashmere brand combines tradition, modern innovation and technology to make pieces of the highest quality cashmere for almost 40 years.

GOBI Cashmere offers the finest and most luxurious pieces made of cashmere. This brand is known around the world for special cashmere coats and is the only company in the world that exclusively produces cashmere clothes with many years of experience, great love and passion.

One of the most important questions arises: Why is cashmere extremely important for Mongolia?

There is a hidden gem in the interior of Asia, more precisely somewhere between Central and East Asia, which was overshadowed by its larger and wealthier neighbors. This gem is Mongolia – the land of the royal fiber that the world knows by name – Cashmere.

Did you know that Mongolia is a world leader in cashmere production and participates in about 50% of world production on a global market, which indicates the quality of production. Mongolia has slowly but surely become recognizable on the world fashion scene.

The importance of cashmere can best be seen in the rural areas of Mongolia where economic development is encouraged. Cashmere is a source of income and employment for more than a third of the population of this unusual Asian country and a large part of nomadic families that make up 90% of the total household income.

Mongolia’s economy depends on cashmere production due to the cold and dry climate of Mongolia, which is not ideal for the development of agricultural branches. Due to the lack of many resources in the country, cattle became their most valuable asset. For these nomadic families, their survival plays a crucial role, while they maintain and transmit centuries-old traditions. Today, shepherds are increasingly relying on the cashmere industry.

In addition to participating in improving the financial value, cashmere has played a vital role in the professional training of shepherds and enabling them to participate in the business fashion world. GOBI is one of the few companies in the world that gives shepherds the opportunity to eliminate intermediaries and thus make direct sales. To prevent the possible use of cashmere knitwear by the world’s leading brands, they also have the freedom to negotiate directly with customers so that they can have a voice and set a price. Unfortunately, this business opportunity is not available in most rural areas, but GOBI is working to improve conditions.

Even the inhabitants of large cities in Mongolia recognized the dedication and work of their nomadic colleagues. For them, it is something more than just a piece of luxury cashmere clothing. Over time, the GOBI brand has become a part of the national identity that the Mongols are very proud of.

Cashmere has always been synonymous with cloud-like quality and unique softness. Fibers obtained from cashmere goats are three times better thermal insulators than sheep wool. Wool is combed during the natural process of wool shedding, when goats begin to change their wool and “lose” their winter fur coat.

Shepherds with generational knowledge manually comb cashmere fibers to protect goats from overheating and secondary diseases such as ticks. This is the best, most sustainable and most humane way to get cashmere. This way of getting cashmere is almost like a massage. Cashmere is a very delicate material, but with proper care, you can wear your favorite cashmere items for a long time.

The Mongols take cashmere for granted because it is one of the most valuable materials that is part of their tradition. Almost every Mongol can get it at a reasonable price and enjoy the quality and characteristics of this material. At the same time, high-quality cashmere is still one of the most luxurious fibers that can be found around the world, including countries like Mongolia that produce more than is needed.

Cashmere is much more than a soft and warm material from which quality and luxurious knitwear items are made every day. It is a depiction of a way of life, a long tradition that has developed from generation to generation. GOBI is making efforts to protect Mongolian nomads and their goat herds by introducing the ability to get know more information about the cashmere fibers used to make GOBI fashion pieces.

This option gives you the assurance that you have become the owner of the softest and finest piece that was made with a lot of love by the experts of the GOBI team in Mongolia.

What does the process of traceability GOBI cashmere mean? The GOBI cashmere tracebility process means that every production step will be recorded from start to finish and all processes will be preserved. In order to be able to document the origin of each strand of cashmere fiber, many records need to be made. GOBI presents its new project on the possibility of tracking cashmere fibers.

This project will provide an opportunity for all customers to find out where the cashmere from which their garment is made in Mongolia comes from. Because cashmere is indeed a sustainable source of raw materials, each product received a monitoring rating based on several factors. In one of the following posts, I will explain the goal of this project in more detail and I believe that this revolutionary project will mark a new era in the fashion industry.

I am sure you are interested in learning more about this unusual and traditional brand from Mongolia so you can find all the information on their official social media channels on their Facebook page and official Instagram profile.

Today’s pure elegance outfit was complemented by a watch from the Schroeder 1877 collection “Gentlemen Renaissance” model Broker with a rose gold case and an iconic brown crocodile bracelet.

This watch was created from a scratch that was researched and developed over the years by engineer Fred-Eric Bolzli. The watch shows local times in the cities where Schroeder Joailliers jewelry products are represented: Luxembourg, Moscow, Dubai, Shanghai, Tokyo and New York.

Even this time I had no dilemma which watch I would put on my hand because the Schroeder The Broker watch was made as an ideal combination of the inevitable rose gold color case with a bracelet of an iconic and timeless dark brown color.

For all those who did not follow my previous fashion adventures, this watch is a novelty, so I suggest you read the Schroeder story and get acquainted with this unusual brand from Luxembourg, I am sure you will like their incredible story. You can follow Maison Schroeder on the social networks Facebook and Instagram.

This spring, new items also arrived from my friends Picard Lederwaren, who supported my adventures around the world for years, and Picard’s leather friends never let me down. The quality and design of Picard leather goods and accessories is amazing and after so many years and carrying pounds of luggage I carry my Picard backpacks in blog posts as well.

The model you had the opportunity to see in the previous blog post and today’s is one of the models from the latest collection for Spring – Summer 2021, and I must admit that this shape won my heart over at a very first sight. The Infinity backpack is very elegant and urban so you can wear it on absolutely any occasion.

I used these sunny spring days in Berlin to take for walk my new Jacob Cohen sneakers made of pony hair, which I was a little indifferent to at first because I was afraid that pony hair would fit in with my spring style.

Of course, the brown color goes great with my pastel colors in the wardrobe, and the pony hair further accentuated the elegant note of this elegant – casual outfit.

My dear fashionistas, we have reached the end of this special post where we discovered one incredible knitwear cashmere brand from Mongolia! How did you like my outfit today? Have you found some inspiration for some of yours great spring outfit?

I really tried to prepare today’s post with a lot of love and I hope you will like it! See you in a couple of days with some new interesting story!

I advise you from the bottom of my heart to listen to my advice due to the current unfavorable health situation in almost all European and countries around the world. If you need to go out into the fresh air, take a walk and clear your mind, feel free to do so, but do not go to places where there are a lot of people and encourage crowding.

The process of vaccinating the population in Germany has begun and I believe that the situation will soon improve and that our lives will return to normal soon!

I understand that people need to go out into the fresh air for physical activity and mental health, but you can do that by simple walking the city every day, on low-traffic pedestrian streets. Of course, you can walk in parks and other types of green areas or promenades along rivers, but keep the prescribed physical distance, use disinfectants and please wear a mask.

If you have a question, comment, suggestion or message for me, you can write me down in the comments. Of course, as always you can contact me via mail or social media channels, which you can find on the CONTACT ME page. Stay tuned!

Fashion Diaries: Wish upon a Berliner Style…

Dear fashionistas, welcome to the new fashion adventure on the Mr.M blog. I am sure that the previous week passed in a good mood and that the preparations for the weekend are over and you are ready for a weekend.

Today’s fashion story will be dedicated to the fashion that is popular in the capital of Germany. Many fashion experts consider Berlin to be the center of urban and street fashion. Berlin as a fashion center is quite “modest” because unlike other European fashion capitals Milan, Paris and London, Berlin is unique, authentic and really simple.

The first and basic “fashion” rule in Berliner style (read like the entire German fashion world) is practicality and comfort. In addition, the clothes must be comfortable. Germans exclusively like to feel comfortable in the clothes they wear, they do not like tight and uncomfortable shoes, tight and short jackets and skinny jeans are not part of Berliner fashion trend.

Germans like practical, durable and comfortable clothes, to feel free in their “second skin” for a whole time. Since the sun finally came to Berlin, now the autumn tracksuits have been replaced by summer jeans and silk “pajama tracksuits”. When I say silk pajamas, I mean those colorful silk T-shirts and pants that we can easily put on and go out on the street.

In today’s post you can see how the average German dresses during warmer, sunny days, which believe me there are not many in Germany because springs and summers are much colder here with precipitation so you feel like you live somewhere between rainy autumn and cold winter with some small number of sunny days all year round. Over time, people get used to the climate and learn to appreciate every sunny day you welcome in Berlin.

Speaking of the concept of casual and comfort Berliner street fashion, today I decided to wear my new SVEVO silk T-shirt, which has a classic and timeless cut. T-shirt made of the highest quality silk, short sleeves with a ribbed bottom and cuffs.

During the production of SVEVO products in the weaving process, special very small holes are made on the back of each garment in a number that varies depending on the size, starting with one hole for size 46.

It is a trademark of the SVEVO brand, regardless of use and condition of the product, even in case of loss of the label, it is always possible to determine the originality of the garments of the Italian brand SVEVO Parma.

Resort knitted jacket is one of the best-selling clothing items of the SVEVO Italian brand. This type of jacket is a necessary item in the wardrobe of every man. The characteristics of this jacket are elegant and simple lines with decorative seams that fit every man perfectly and easily fit into a sophisticated modern image of a man.

This jacket is ideal for all transition periods, when you are not sure what to wear when you leave the house, and it is too warm outside for a winter jacket, but it is not warm enough for short sleeves.

Knitwear is a true art that is passed from generation to generation, a secret that is kept among a select few who, with their exceptional skill and intense passion, still manage to weave a new reality and spread love for finished knitted works of art among people around the world.

If you missed my previous story on the blog, you can visit this link and read the amazing story about this unusual knitwear Italian brand. A story about the brand with a long family tradition, exceptional quality and constant innovation.

I used these wonderful sunny spring days in Berlin to walk my velvet sneakers, which I was a little “cold” at first because I was afraid that velvet would fit my style. The first thing on my mind was maintenance, but as they survived a couple of unexpected rainy walks they have now become my favorite piece!

Of course, the navy blue color with these golden details easily blended in with the other pieces in today’s outfit and the velvet further emphasized the elegant note of this outfit.

Fratelli Borgioli: The Story about Handmade Shoes from Sunny Tuscany…

Dear my fashionistas, welcome to another new story on the Mr.M blog. How are you today? I sincerely hope that you are all well and that after the adventure in cold but fascinating Russia you are ready for one warm fashion story from sunny Tuscany. Italy is a country that is considered to be the cradle of fashion and hedonism in general. My grandmother always said that there was nothing better than the smell of a new Italian shoes just taken out of the box.

I admit that I did not understand that as a child, but today, as a man almost the age of 30, I began to understand all the wise advices and words of the older people around me. In today’s post, we will learn something new about an interesting Italian footwear brand that crafting handmade shoes – the Fratelli Borgioli.

The unusual fashion journey began in 1946 when two brothers Rene and Valerio Borgioli, skilled craftsmen, decided to start their business in a small workshop near the picturesque Tuscan town of Vinci. The Borgioli brothers started making handmade shoes that were also of excellent fit and quality.

A few years later, Rene and Valerio decided to hire new workers and managed to expand their workspace in the family home. In the seventies of the last century, due to the increased demand on the market, the Borgioli brothers decided to build a new business facility of a larger area and introduced new ways of making footwear.

In the 1980s, the second generation of the Borgioli family, Urbano and Alfredina Borgioli, expanded the family business by turning the entire family home into a factory. Fratelli Borgioli has become a well-established and reliable manufacturing company in the luxury goods market.

They also achieved great success in the late eighties, when the family company began exhibiting at specialized fairs and thus entered new European markets. After conquering Italy, the next in line were Switzerland, Germany and Austria. It was a big step for a family company that believed in its exceptional quality and dedicated work of its skilled craftsmen.

Fratelli Borgioli has a collection of shoes for men and women, so you can always find something interesting for yourself and your loved ones.

Fratelli Borgioli is constantly investing in product research and development in collaboration with its workers: artisans, numerous stylists and manufacturers of leather samples. Due to these characteristics, the brand is recognized in Italy and abroad as an extremely valuable manufacturer of high quality shoes produced in Italy.

Fratelli Borgioli regularly makes new collaboration agreements with international fashion houses and thus modernizes its production and expands its sales network to a larger number of markets.

Fratelli Borgioli is currently a family business run by a third generation that has managed to advance and improve a company that has more than 70 years of experience and tradition in the field of luxury footwear production.

The Fratelli Borgioli collections were selected by the Pitti Design Committee. For more than 10 years, Borgioli has been presenting its seasonal collections at this important event in the world of men’s fashion. For all those unfamiliar with the Pitti Uomo term, I would like to write one brief explanation.

Pitti Uomo is one of the world’s most important fashion platforms for collections of men’s clothing and accessories and for launching new projects in men’s fashion. It is held twice a year in Florence.

Fratelli Borgioli has launched a permanent exhibition at his showroom in Milan. The Borgioli showroom is located in the modern design district of Brera and is open all year round for all fans of this brand. In this showroom you can see new seasonal collections and of course some of the timeless pieces from past collections that marked the work of this famous shoe brand.

This family brand introduced certain innovations in business during 2020, and these are the possibility of online shopping in their official e-shop and a new unusual collaboration with distant Japan. A new line of footwear that combines the famous Italian craft with an unusual Japanese style. At the end of last year, SEISHOU saw the light of day with a new line of shoes designed by Fratelli Borgioli with Japanese designers Ikeda and Matsuzaki.

The name of the new line, SEISHOU (“unison” in English, which means complete harmony). This line brings with it a mixture of Italian workmanship and Japanese taste.

SEISHOU is a hybrid collection for both sexes, which combines classic Italian design with modern Japanese style. The Japanese concept and design are expressed by the skill of making Italian shoes. The design includes the concept of authentic Italian footwear and a taste that faithfully depicts the modern Japanese way of life.

All shoes from the SEISHOU line combine the comfort of sneakers with the elegance of formal shoes. All pieces are made with the help of complex techniques that are still applied today by a very small number of footwear manufacturers, such as the sole milled on the last, the Blake processing with a hidden channel and the use of natural materials.

Shoes from the SEISHOU line are available in the online Fratelli Borgioli store, as well as in the Fratelli Borgioli stores, Casa Borgioli store, set in the premises of the old factory in Vinci, Tuscany, the birthplace of the Renaissance genius Leonardo da Vinci.

If you want to be updated and find out all the news that Fratelli Borgioli is preparing for us, follow them on the social networks Facebook and Instagram.

Since the weather in Belgrade got a little better, I decided to take my coat out in the fresh air and the coat you asked me about after seeing it on the list of my favorite items that you should give to your men for the New Year holidays.

Whitcomb & Shaftesbury was founded in 2004 by Suresh and Mahesh Ramakrishnan as an independent brand transparent in its production and dedicated to a deep belief in fashion originality and independence, backed by a craft approach. By creating tailor-made pieces that customers want, they are creating British luxury fashion in a whole new way – building links between the consumer and the brand, instead of solely encouraging unnecessary consumption in the consumption chain.

Good bespoke is a special kind of fashion: turning the ideas and measures of customers and beautiful natural raw materials into something very original, unusual and special; achieving quality is consistent and independent is exactly what sets Whitcomb & Shaftesbury apart from other fashion brands on the market.

In my post today, you have the opportunity to see again a masterpiece of the Whitcomb & Shaftesbury fashion house – a coat of classic design, which is authentic in details and which will remain a classic in your wardrobe for a lifetime.

This amazing coat is made of a incredible blend of Vicuna and pure cashmere, so this wonderful combination of materials makes this coat so special and unique.

As you know, I am a big fan of coats and this one caught my attention because it is unique and elegant. The other thing I love about this coat is the exceptional color that is easy to combine.

Fashion Diary: Refresh the Gloomy and Cold Winter with some Bright Colors…

Dear my fashionistas, welcome to the new fashion story at your favorite place – Mr.M. We are slowly but surely counting down the last days of winter, hoping that spring will bring us some new joys. At this time last year, the world found itself in some absolutely unknown situation when we first heard about the Coronavirus and we could only sit in front of our TV screens and hope to overcome this catastrophe that hit the whole world.

Last year we could only imagine going outside at least for a moment and walking down our favorite street, this year at least we got some new hope that life would soon return to normal with the discovery of vaccines.

This year, I decided to say goodbye to winter with details of bright colors. I believe that red is a favorite color of most people because it is a color that signifies joy and happiness. Scientists believe that colors significantly affect mood swings and can affect people’s mental health.

Some research has shown that the color red evokes strong emotions and encourages an individual to make some new changes in life. I noticed that this is really a true fact, because whenever I decided to change my life habits or make new decisions, the color red was unconsciously a silent observer to my eye and every time I brought some details of the color red into my life.

When I applied for jobs in Germany a couple of years ago, I honestly had no hope that anything would change in my life. Every day, a large number of e-replies were I was rejected by companies, as my CV did not “match” with the required profile of the person who needed the advertised job.

I remember getting over 20 quite cold rejections during one week, but that didn’t discourage me from continuing to compete to find my place under the sun in the promised Deutschland (Germany)!

It was a very ordinary Thursday afternoon, I was walking down the streets of Belgrade and I noticed a kind old lady selling woolen gloves that she made.

The lady radiated positive energy and was very kind, lovely and smiling. On one box that was covered with fine velvet in wonderful navy blue color were on display some gloves. One bright red gloves stood out in particular. They were beautiful, but a little small for my hands, I don’t even know what force “pulled” me to buy them, but I did it!

I was happy for one such little thing, but my day was “saved” with one pair of perfect red gloves. At one point, I felt the vibration of the phone, which means receiving a new e-mail, because I did not want to spoil my “five minutes of happiness”, I decided to leave reading the e-mail for later when I come back to reality.

That day, one red glove brought me immense happiness and a change in my life that I will remember, today these beautiful navy blue Restelli gloves made of the finest leather protected my hands from dandruff caused by the cold wind that dries my hands with incredible speed.

I can say that these navy blue gloves also brought me happiness because they arrived early this morning and with them also some new good news that I will share with you soon when the time is right. It seems that gloves have become symbols of great life changes for me, maybe that’s why I adore these fashion accessories so much.

Life is unpredictable and full of surprises that can be positive or negative. I belong to a group of people who believe in the balance of life, so that life is made up of beautiful and those less beautiful moments that shape us and in that way we mature as individuals with all our virtues and flaws at the same time.

I always have an interesting question that I want to share with you, but I just managed to remind myself and ask you: “Do you believe in miracles?

Do miracles really exist or are they just beliefs? Honestly, I believe in miracles, but I do not rely too much on the factor of happiness. I always try to do everything in my power, and only then can I admit to myself that I did everything that was up to me and let myself wait for the good news. How do you think, what kind of energy do you invoke and radiate, so in the end you will get the results…

My today’s outfit helped me to bring a smile to the faces of passers-by. Some recognized me and finally listened to my advice from the blog to approach and get to know each other. One girl who has been following my blog regularly for almost three years asked me to take a quick photo and also took a selfie with my cheerful red scarf. Looks like it was the star of the day!

In addition to irresistible details like a scarf and a turtleneck sweater, I had another interesting red detail that you had the opportunity to see in previous fashion stories on the blog – the red watch!

This interesting red watch, in addition to faithfully showing the time, is also a real little work of art that can adorn everyone’s hand. My new friend Jaguar is from the special collection “Kingdom“. This watch is handmade in faraway Canada in the main workshop of Ematelier, a brand behind which stands a passionate watch lover, founder Alex Landa.

All “soft” knit fashion details are a gift from my dear friends from Scotland – Johnstons of Elgin. You had the opportunity to see this rollneck sweater on the streets of Berlin in one of the posts at the end of last year, but the scarf is a new detail that represents the famous Scottish print for which this exceptional country is famous.

My dear fashionistas, we have come to the end of this special post where together we discovered some facts about the red color that most people love. How did you like this combination of mine today, with which I said goodbye to the last days of winter?

I really tried to prepare this outfit for you with a lot of love and I hope you will like it! See you in a couple of days with a new story from faraway Russia!

I advise you from the bottom of my heart to listen to my advice due to the current unfavorable health situation in almost all European and countries around the world. If you need to go out into the fresh air, take a walk and clear your mind, feel free to do so, but do not go to places where there are a lot of people and encourage crowding.

Fashionable Letter from Skopje: Stylish Harmony in gentle Shades of Brown…

Dear my travelers and fashionistas, welcome to the new fashion adventure on the Mr.M blog. In the previous post, you had the opportunity to read a travelogue about the capital of the Republic of Northern Macedonia – Skopje.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the numerous messages you sent me and I am very happy when I realize how much one travelogue has ennobled and fulfilled the expectations of people who read my blog regularly. After all these years of our online friendship, every new story I write for you feels like it’s the first time and that feeling of excitement just doesn’t leave me!

If by any chance you missed reading the travelogue about Skopje or just want to remember some details and enjoy the beautiful photos of the city that exudes a warm southern Balkan’s spirit, visit this link.

Today I have prepared for you a fashion story about an Italian brand that I am sure you have heard at least once in your life – Corneliani.

After I received this jacket, I realized that it would fit perfectly in the first days of January that I spent near the “lively” Vardar river in Skopje.

Corneliani is a famous Italian manufacturer of men’s clothing, which has become recognizable for Made-to-order custom suits and sports coats. This brand is intended for men who want to own a fashionable piece that is primarily of high quality, made of the best materials and designs that simply never go out of style.

Every Corneliani piece of clothing is perfect for any occasion and be sure that you will always be in trend, regardless of the rapid changes that are characteristic in the world of fashion.

The fashion story of this unusual family business dates back to the 1930s, when Mr. Alfredo Corneliani founded a craft workshop that made raincoats and coats. Unfortunately, this workshop stopped working due to the outbreak of World War II.

Alfred’s sons Claudio and Carl Alberto later founded the Corneliani fashion house in Mantova in 1958.

Two years are significant in the history of this well-known Italian brand, which represents a turning point in the work of this brand: in 1985, the company founded Corneliani USA Inc. in New York to distribute its items throughout the United States and Canada.

A few years later, in 1997, Corneliani opened his main flagship store in the well-known Via Montenapoleone fashion street, in Milan.

After numerous successes and rewards for their work and maintaining the principles of Italian tradition, style and fashion, today Corneliani employs more than 600 tailors in Mantova, where the basic product line of the fashion house Corneliani is still produced. You can find a list of Corneliani stores throughout Europe and the world at this link.

Of course, during this winter season, I spent a lot of time with these lovely leather friends of mine – gloves, which are made by another small family company, Restelli. This family brand is trying to bring its great passion for making gloves closer to all fans of these fashion pieces around the Europe and world as well.

Making gloves is not only a job but also a real art. Passion, emotions, tradition and knowledge have been passed on to the third generation after 100 years! Raffaela Restelli has fully accepted the challenges of the new fashion era in which the market and the way of selling have changed with deep respect and belief in tradition and love for beautiful masterpieces that last!

Restelli gloves are not valued with money, but with a tradition and history full of love and patience that have no price.

Another Italian brand that marked this winter season is Aida Barni, a luxury brand that delights with its fantastic sweaters made of the highest quality cashmere. You had the opportunity to see this sweater in the first post that was published at the beginning of January this year, how this sweater looked with the MooRER jacket, you can see at the link.

The Aida Barni brand operates under the company name of the Annapurna fashion group, which was founded in 1978. Fashion Diary: A Fashionable Moment of Reunion with Nature…

Dear my fashionistas, welcome to the Mr.M blog! The holidays are over and it’s time for some work. In previous posts during this pandemic, I have tried to draw your attention and point out the importance of maintaining health and physical fitness during this hard times.

In addition to the use of supplements such as vitamins that we all buy in pharmacies, staying outdoors, especially in the natural environment on green areas or by rivers, can contribute to the improvement of the general health of the organism.

Scientists believe that being outdoors has a beneficial effect on people’s mental health. When you have free time for yourself, take an hour or two of your time and walk by the river or stay in nature.

Of course, in addition to a good mood, for staying outdoors you need warm clothing items that will allow you to spend your stay in nature in the best possible way.

Today, we also will spend some fashionable time with the Italian brand Aida Barni, which makes exceptional pieces of cashmere. This brand has become a symbol of elegance and sophistication due to its perfect sweaters and fashion accessories made of the highest quality wool – cashmere.

Aida Barni uses all kinds of the latest technologies to make cashmere knitwear, forming special looms to the latest and most advanced knitting machines. If you want to be up to date and find out all the news that Aida Barni is preparing for us, follow them on the social networks Facebook and Instagram.

If by any chance you missed previous posts or want to be reminded of some details, you can read the posts at the following links. Tips for maintaining your favorite pieces of cashmere – link. In case you want to find out more information about the Aida Barni and Annapurna brands, you can read the story of these brands at this link.

In addition to warm sweaters, during the winter we all hang out with jackets or shearling jackets, depending on personal preferences. This time I decided to complete my outfit with the leather shearling jacket that I have had in my wardrobe for years, and every time I see it in the closet, I admire how some things just don’t change over time.

Of course, as you could see in one of the previous outfit posts, my new friend that helps me not to be late, while still having one unusual stylish masterpiece on hand, is a wristwatch made by the famous Swiss brand Epos. If by any chance you missed reading an interesting story and history of this company, you can do so by clicking on the link.

There is no person in the world who cannot hide the joy when you feel the smell of the new Italian leather. Today, we are once again hanging out with the Italian family workshop for handmade Restelli gloves, a place where the art, tradition and beauty of handicrafts meet every day, which is the true definition of the Italian style and way of life in general.

Making gloves is not only a job but also a real art. Passion, emotions, tradition and knowledge have been passed on to the third generation after 100 years! Rafaela Restelli has fully accepted the challenges of the new fashion era in which the market and the way of selling have changed with deep respect and belief in tradition and a love for lasting masterpieces!

Restelli gloves are not valued with money, but with a tradition and history full of love and patience that have no price.

Fashion trends vary depending on the season and weather conditions. Winter fashion trends are simple and the most important thing is to “respect” the rule that the most important thing is to be “layered dressed” due to the low temperatures that prevail during the winter period.

When it comes to winter fashion outfits, brown, navy blue and lighter neutral shades predominate in my wardrobe, with which I welcome cold winter days.

Today’s post contains the word nature in its title, and do we know what that term really means? Nature is, in the broadest sense, the equivalent of the natural world, the physical universe, the material world, or the material universe.

Nature as a term refers to the phenomenon of the physical world, as well as to life in general. This term usually does not include manufactured objects, nor human interaction, unless it qualifies as such, such as “human nature”. The notion of nature and the natural is also the opposite of the notion of the supernatural.

Today, in the everyday use of the word “nature”, geology is often referred to as the term wilderness. Nature can also define the general realm of various types of plants and animals, and in some cases the processes associated with inanimate objects – the way certain types of things exist such as the time and geology of the Earth, and the matter and energy of which all things are made.

Nature often means “natural environment” or wilderness made up of wild animals, rocks, forests, beaches and in general all things that have not been significantly altered by human intervention or those that last despite human interaction.

Aida Barni: Timeless Elegance never goes out of fashion…

Dear my fashionistas, welcome to the Mr.M blog. I sincerely hope that you started this new year with more enthusiasm and some better mood. In the coming months, the vaccine will be available in all countries, so we can slowly hope for the return of old life habits and daily small rituals.

I can’t wait to see and hug my dear friends again, whom I haven’t seen for more than a year, and that we will be able to enjoy some of our little joys that make life more interesting.

In the previous post, I started the story of the famous Italian brand Aida Barni, which is a symbol of elegance and sophistication due to its perfect sweaters and fashion accessories made of the highest quality wool – cashmere.

For several days now, I have been receiving your messages asking for advice on how to maintain cashmere items. I believe that each of us owns something that is made of this noble natural material.

Due to its exceptional softness, quality and durability, this material has fascinated people for centuries, but many people are still not instructed on how to properly maintain things made of cashmere.

Cashmere is a material that is pleasant for the skin, light and a good heat saver. I don’t know if you knew that cashmere is even up to eight times warmer than wool. Things made of real cashmere do not change their original shape and colors do not fade, but it is therefore attractive to guests we do not want in our homes – moths.

Cashmere items need to be aired out from time to time, it would be best to periodically take out your favorite cashmere items on your dryers that we have on the terraces to ventilate well and thus reduce the chance of encountering moths.

Did you perhaps know how cashmere is made? Cashmere is obtained from a domestic species of goat that originates from the Kashmir region (a border region located on the border zone of India, Pakistan and China). Cashmere fiber is fine, shiny and elastic.

The natural color of the fibers varies from white to grayish color shades. Once a year, the cashmere goat is combed and then fibers of different lengths are separated. Cashmere is a specific and limited natural raw material.

Each goat produces only a few meters of these precious fibers, which is the main reason for the preciousness of cashmere. Females produce less fiber, but they are also of better quality. The finest mohair fiber is used in the textile industry, for the production of sweaters, scarves, shawls, gloves, hats, coats and coats.

Now we come to the part that interests us all the most, and that is MAINTENANCE instructions. Cashmere items are beautiful, eye-catching and high-quality, and in order to stay that way and attract the eyes of people on the street, you need to follow these tips to maintain:

Washing: I advise you to wash cashmere by hand at a temperature of 20-25 degrees, in a mild solution of lukewarm water and a special detergent for washing wool and silk.

If you can’t find this type of detergent, you can use an ordinary shampoo for children, which is gentle and will not damage the cashmere fibers due to its pH value. Of course, there are specialized detergents for washing cashmere, pH neutral, which prevent swelling and felting of the fabric, but they are a bit more expensive and you need to find them in specialized stores.

Drying: Do not strain, knead or wrap freshly washed cashmere fabrics. After washing, leave the item stretched out on a towel. Do not dry your favorite cashmere items in the tumble dryer, or on the radiator, or expose it directly to sunlight.

Ironing: If you want your cashmere items to be beautiful and soft for years to come, my honest advice is NOT to IRON cashmere items.

The Aida Barni brand is synonymous with the luxury and quality of exclusive cashmere yarn, a material that has fascinated all fashion lovers for centuries.

Aida Barni uses all kinds of the latest technologies to make cashmere knitwear, forming special looms to the latest and most advanced knitting machines. If you want to be up to date and find out all the news that Aida Barni is preparing for us, follow them on the social networks Facebook and Instagram.

You have had the opportunity to see this incredible Ématelier watch in previous posts, which, in addition to faithfully showing the time, is also a real master-piece of art that adorns the hand. My new friend Jaguar from the special collection “Kingdom” is a watch that was handmade in faraway Canada in the main workshop of Ématelier, a brand behind which stands a passionate watch lover, founder Alex Landa.

This time I decided to change the bracelet and show you what this beautiful watch looks like with an elegant black bracelet. If you want to get better acquainted with this brand, read the story of this unusual realm where time and creativity know no boundaries – link.

Today’s post contains the word elegance in its title, and do we know what that term means. Elegance is hard to “mold”, but I will try to present you with some basic definition. Elegance basically means one type of beauty that embodies simplicity.

Elegance is often used as a “measure” of taste, especially in the visual sense, decorative arts, literature, science and aesthetics. Elegant things often show refined grace and suggest a certain maturity, and in the case of aesthetics and science it means a deep understanding of objects and phenomena.

I really tried to prepare this clothing combination for you with a lot of love and I hope you will like it! See you in a couple of days with a new story!

I take this opportunity to draw your attention to the care and protection of yourself and your beloved ones. Let’s prevent the spread of the Corona virus and try to make this one day just another bad dream that we have successfully forgotten!

Aida Barni: Italian Sophisticated Dreams are made of cashmere…

Dear my fashionistas, welcome to the Mr.M blog! At the very beginning, I would like to wish you all the best! Merry Christmas and a happy New Year! I wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart. I hope that all your wishes will come true and that we will stay healthy and happy together with the hope that the new year will bring some new positive things that make us all satisfied.

During this winter season on my blog you had the opportunity to meet some new, interesting fashion brands that deserve to be noticed for their exceptional quality and impressive design.

In the previous months, I presented on my blog a various fashion labels from Italy, such as the fashion house MooRER from romantic Verona and a specialized workshop for making leather gloves Restelli from the Italian capital of fashion – Milan.

Do you know what Annapurna means? Have you ever heard for this word? Annapurna is a name that evokes extraordinary landscapes and in particular, a massif in the Himalayas in north-central Nepal that includes one peak over 8,000 metres where goats grow their thick protective fleece hiding the soft, warm “duvet” that has made them so famous.

Annapurna is also represent an imaginative and fascinating name for a company that produces high quality knitwear made of the finest cashmere. A name of promise then, a symbol of a target to achieve for a woman – Ms. Aida Barni, who decided to enter the business world at the end of the seventies at the top of a difficult sector of the market.

Today is a special day for me because the brand Aida Barni joins to my small fashion network called Mr.M. The Aida Barni brand is synonymous with the luxury and quality of exclusive cashmere yarn, a material that has fascinated all fashion lovers for centuries.

Many years of experience and knowledge about the origin and processing of yarn have enabled the Aida Barni brand to become one of the leading brands of top knits in the fashion world. Aida Barni, an Italian famous designer, has published a book with numerous illustrations that aims to promote her unique brand and cashmere, one of the most precious natural materials in the world.

The Aida Barni brand operates under the company name of the Annapurna fashion group, which was founded in 1978. The Annapurna group has become one of the most famous Italian and world leading manufacturers of high-quality cashmere knitwear. The Annapurna Spa fashion group consists of the Annapurna and Aida Barni brands.

Aida Barni brand uses all kinds of the latest technologies to make cashmere knitwear, forming special looms to the latest and most advanced knitting machines. The current production capacity of Aida Barni and Annapurna brands are about 120,000 pieces per year, which you have to admit is impressive. The entire production process takes place in Italy, more precisely in the company’s headquarters in the Italian city of Prato.

If you want to be up to date and find out all the news about new collections that Aida Barni is preparing for us, follow them on the social networks Facebook and Instagram.

These beautiful gloves which you have opportunity to see in today’s post have arrived from Italy, made in a great combination of cashmere and suede leather, which were made with great love in a family specialized workshop for making gloves. Making gloves is not only a job but also a real art.

Passion, emotions, tradition and knowledge have been passed on to the third generation after 100 years! Ms. Rafaela Restelli has fully accepted the challenges of the new fashion era in which the market and the way of selling have changed with deep respect and belief in tradition and love for beautiful masterpieces that last!

Restelli gloves are not valued with money, but with a tradition and history full of love and patience that have no price.

Beloved Ématelier masterpiece Jaguar from the limited collection “Kingdom” you previously have seen in my last blog post, which, in addition showing the right time, is also a real little work of art that adorns the hand. I think that this Ématelier Jaguar watch fit perfectly with the rest of this outfit and that this incredible hand-painted dial brought a bit of cheerful colors to this cold winter day.

If you want to get better acquainted with this brand, read the story of this unusual kingdom where time and creativity know no boundaries – link.

Of course, as I mentioned at the very beginning of this post, I founded my small and chosen Italian company with the Italian brand MooRER who introduced me to my new friend Morris.

I have to be honest and admit that you’ve seen Morris more than me, but that was justified because this is an exceptional model of jacket that can be worn for a long time because this is a timeless classic model.

Fashion Diary: November, the month of fashion and new ideas…

My dear fashionistas welcome to another fashion adventure on the Mr.M blog. I sincerely hope you are well, healthy and safe surrounded by loved ones. This year has certainly marked our lives and we will surely remember it after the pandemic and the world crisis. I don’t think there is an industry that hasn’t felt some kind of crisis, so it is in the fashion industry, which is a big challenge for fashion brands and designers as well.

During the pandemic, the fashion industry makes great efforts to maintain a perfect balance of production and concentration of purchasing power. The current volume of production may have been reduced, but believe me, the love for fashion has remained absolutely has not changed at all.

How will I remember Autumn – Winter 2020? Honestly, I am happiest that, thank God, I am healthy and that I had the opportunity to share my love for fashion with my readers. I regularly receive emails and messages on social networks from my dear readers with similar question, and that is: “When will your new travelogues start?”.

I really can’t honestly give you the answer to that question because I really don’t know how the health situation will unfold and how it will affect travel in the future. Believe me, that famous thought passes through my mind at least once every day: “When will everything return to the old like before as used to be?”. It is no longer a problem with borders and the fact that there is no travel, but this “world quarantine” and constant changes in the law have begun to affect people’s mental health.

When I wonder why I am not able to go somewhere, I sincerely thank God after a few seconds that I am healthy and that I have the opportunity to rest and relax with my family in one place. Travel is a wonderful thing and for me it will always be a kind of non-formal education, but health and family will always be in the first place for me and it is something that has no price.

In today’s post, we’re hanging out again with my favorite fashion piece this season, I believe you’ve all remembered his name so far – Morris. To be honest, I don’t know which fashion piece I liked and repeated on the blog during one season, but with this jacket it’s different.

If you remember that special story of mine from the first fashion post about the Italian brand from Verona, the MooRER brand will remember how I wrote that this jacket fulfilled my unfulfilled dreams from Prague from a couple of years ago. Maybe that’s exactly why I’ve worn this jacket so many times, but I promise I’ll change soon! Thank you for your understanding! 🙂

MooRER is an Italian brand that won my heart in a short time and I am glad that we managed to find each other during this pandemic and make a wonderful and interesting collaboration.

Another Italian brand that you had the opportunity to meet last week on my blog, which is known for handmade real small leather art masterpieces, is the Restelli Guanti gloves factory.

This week, I present you another model of gloves from this interesting family brand that has passed on its love for gloves and share for generations. I extremely appreciate and respect brands with this tradition that have survived on the market for years, and I am always glad when I manage to help them at least a little, especially in these difficult times.

In the fashion world, every piece has its own unique story, which really provides a special charm. These gloves are made of a perfect combination of cashmere and soft deerskin. Ideal for any fashion combination, whether you are getting ready for work or a business meeting or you may have decided to spend a day in a relaxed walk, these gloves are ideal for the cold days that follow us during autumn and winter.

You haven’t been able to see the roll neck sweater and jeans on the blog so far because I jealously kept it for colder days and finally put on my new refined pieces of wool and cashmere with which these lower temperatures passed me more easily than in previous years.

The roll neck sweater you can see in today’s post came to my wardrobe from faraway Scotland made by the skilled hands of a team from the Johnstons of Elgin brand who made it true for me to spend this winter in trend and to spend my days in Berlin comfortably, even with an open jacket.

Believe me, since I always have problems with regulating my body temperature, I have been buttoned up to my throat in the winter for years, and I always have a feeling of cold, while other people can only wear a sweater, I will always have a jacket over. This year I have to admit I gave up a bit so I walked around with an open jacket, which may be a small step for humanity, but too big not to say a giant step for one Marko!

Since I made these photos outdoors and I stick to the prescribed physical distance of 2 meters, I didn’t need to wear masks, but I wear a mask indoors and regularly buy hand sanitizers in small packages so I can always carry them with me.

Dear my fashionistas, we have come to the end of this special fashion story about the Autumn charm of Berlin. How did you like this outfit of mine that I walked the streets of Berlin today? British elegance and Italian style on the streets of Berlin

My dear fashionistas, how are you today? I sincerely hope that you are well and that you are protected from this health catastrophe that started a new winter “wave”. All over Europe, the situation is alarming and we need to take care of ourselves and our loved ones.

Each of us must continue to work, but we must do our best to adjust our work and daily life in accordance with the current health situation. Since I have to do my job, I try to take pictures at a time when there are not many people on the streets and to avoid indoors for taking photos.

I appeal once again that it is necessary to take new precautionary measures and try to stay healthy and make our environment a better place. In previous posts, you had the opportunity to see me in a winter jacket, many of you sent me numerous messages asking where is my famous Mr.M symbol, a fashion piece without which autumn cannot pass on Mr.M’s blog – the trench coat.

I will dedicate the first November fashion story to my favorite fashion piece by which I became recognizable. The trenchcoat is a piece of clothing that has become a legendary fashion piece of the wardrobe of women and men around the world. The famous Burberry double-breasted coats are made of gabardine. Gabardine is a fine fabric made of combed wool or cotton. Woolen fabric is used for coats, suits and women’s dresses, while cotton is used to make light dresses and cotton is lined with rubber which is used to make raincoats.

Burberry trench coats have an insulated lining, classic or raglan sleeves. Classic versions of the Burberry trench coat can be found in different lengths, from just above the joints (the longest version) to above the middle of the thigh (the shortest). These coats were originally a garment for army officers, the coat model itself was developed before the war, but during the war it was adapted for use in the trenches of the First World War, after which they got their name – Trench Coat!

Traditionally, double-breasted trench coats are buttoned with 10 front buttons and have wide lapels, a “storm” flap and pockets that close with the buttons. Each double-breasted trench coat has a belt around the waist, as well as belts around the joints that can also be fastened. Have you ever wondered why coats have straps on the sleeves above the wrist?

During the war, these belts were practical to keep water from flowing through the forearm when officers used binoculars during the rain. The trench coat often has “shoulder straps” that close and these were functional characteristics in a military context. The traditional color of the coat was “khaki”, a light shade of yellow-brown. Today, newer versions come in many interesting colors.

Trenches remained in trend for decades after the First and Second World Wars. Their original role as a striking part of a military officer’s uniform provided the coat with a new, more elegant business note, although many prefer to tie a belt instead of using a buckle to project a more casual look than a strict military uniform.

In the 1960s, intellectuals wore trench coats over black roll neck sweaters, while some people wore coats as fashion details, as an elegant alternative to jackets.

Double-breasted trenches and coats have become an integral part of our everyday life and there really is no person in the world who does not have a double-breasted trench or coat in the wardrobe, regardless of the brand, a double breasted coat is a iconic fashion piece that never goes out of fashion.

My love for coats is due to my grandfather and father, who were great collectors of trenches and coats as well. My grandfather and father saved a part of their fashion paradise for me as well, and my father gave me my first Burberry trench coat almost 13 years ago, which I still jealously guard and wear today.

These are some of our family rituals, so we passed on our “male” love for coats to our dear ladies in the family. My mother as one of them was not a fan of this piece in the beginning, but with our influence, these fashion treats were also found in her wardrobe.

I have noticed that many people confuse the terms “trench coat” and “coat”. The trench coat is “thinner” and it is worn in the transitional seasons – spring and autumn, when we need protection from unexpected rain and windy weather, and we do not want to wear some heavy and warmer pieces.

A coat is a slightly more “serious” fashion piece for winter time, made of a thicker material, most often wool, cashmere or a combination of these two materials. There are other more exotic materials, but they are less often used due to the high costs of making and processing these materials, the best example is Vicuna shiny llama hair, which is exceptional and rare, but very expensive. A sweater made of Vicuna costs several thousand euros…

When we talk about wool, their fibers consist of several layers. Wool retains heat well and is often used to make sweaters and comfortable winter clothes such as coats, jackets, scarves and gloves. What all belongs to the wool fiber family? These are cashmere, angora, merino wool, lamb wool and mohair.

In today’s post, I wanted to show you an everyday, casual and relaxed fashion combination where one elegant piece, such as a trench coat, can be combined with jeans and sneakers. Also, this time I took the opportunity to show you a red roll neck sweater from my friends from Scotland, Johnstons of Elgin, which you saw in a more elegant edition in one of the previous posts.

Navy – red combination is always refreshing and proved to be the best fashion tandem where we have navy blue, which is a symbol of elegance, while red rejuvenates and refreshes a person. Red indicates a new beginning and brings a certain dose of joy.

Their models are extremely comfortable, practical and wearable for any occasion, whether it is the clothes you need for every day and work, up to those slightly more formal occasions.

I would like to take this opportunity to draw your attention to the self care and protection of yourself and your loved ones. Let’s prevent the spread of the Corona virus and try to make this as just one bad dream that we have successfully forgotten.

Since I made these photos outdoors and I respected all the prescribed physical distance of 2 meters, I didn’t need to wear mask, but I wear a mask indoors and regularly buy hand sanitizers in small packages so I can always carry them with me.

Dear my fashionistas, we have come to the end of this special fashion story about the iconic fashion piece called – The Trench Coat. How did you like this navy blue – red outfit of mine that I walked the streets of Berlin today? I have prepared this outfit for you with a lot of love and I hope you like it! See you in a couple of days with a new fashion story from Germany!

If you have a question, comment, suggestion or message for me, you can write me down in the comments. Of course, as always you can contact me via mail or social media channels, which you can find on the CONTACT page. Stay tuned!

From Berlin with Love,
Mr.M
