Dear my travelers and fashionistas, welcome to the new fashion adventure on the Mr.M blog. In the previous post, you had the opportunity to read a travelogue about the capital of the Republic of Northern Macedonia – Skopje.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the numerous messages you sent me and I am very happy when I realize how much one travelogue has ennobled and fulfilled the expectations of people who read my blog regularly. After all these years of our online friendship, every new story I write for you feels like it’s the first time and that feeling of excitement just doesn’t leave me!

If by any chance you missed reading the travelogue about Skopje or just want to remember some details and enjoy the beautiful photos of the city that exudes a warm southern Balkan’s spirit, visit this link.

Today I have prepared for you a fashion story about an Italian brand that I am sure you have heard at least once in your life – Corneliani.

After I received this jacket, I realized that it would fit perfectly in the first days of January that I spent near the “lively” Vardar river in Skopje.

Corneliani is a famous Italian manufacturer of men’s clothing, which has become recognizable for Made-to-order custom suits and sports coats. This brand is intended for men who want to own a fashionable piece that is primarily of high quality, made of the best materials and designs that simply never go out of style.

Every Corneliani piece of clothing is perfect for any occasion and be sure that you will always be in trend, regardless of the rapid changes that are characteristic in the world of fashion.

The fashion story of this unusual family business dates back to the 1930s, when Mr. Alfredo Corneliani founded a craft workshop that made raincoats and coats. Unfortunately, this workshop stopped working due to the outbreak of World War II.

Alfred’s sons Claudio and Carl Alberto later founded the Corneliani fashion house in Mantova in 1958.

Two years are significant in the history of this well-known Italian brand, which represents a turning point in the work of this brand: in 1985, the company founded Corneliani USA Inc. in New York to distribute its items throughout the United States and Canada.

A few years later, in 1997, Corneliani opened his main flagship store in the well-known Via Montenapoleone fashion street, in Milan.

After numerous successes and rewards for their work and maintaining the principles of Italian tradition, style and fashion, today Corneliani employs more than 600 tailors in Mantova, where the basic product line of the fashion house Corneliani is still produced. You can find a list of Corneliani stores throughout Europe and the world at this link.

Of course, during this winter season, I spent a lot of time with these lovely leather friends of mine – gloves, which are made by another small family company, Restelli. This family brand is trying to bring its great passion for making gloves closer to all fans of these fashion pieces around the Europe and world as well.

Making gloves is not only a job but also a real art. Passion, emotions, tradition and knowledge have been passed on to the third generation after 100 years! Raffaela Restelli has fully accepted the challenges of the new fashion era in which the market and the way of selling have changed with deep respect and belief in tradition and love for beautiful masterpieces that last!

Restelli gloves are not valued with money, but with a tradition and history full of love and patience that have no price.

Another Italian brand that marked this winter season is Aida Barni, a luxury brand that delights with its fantastic sweaters made of the highest quality cashmere. You had the opportunity to see this sweater in the first post that was published at the beginning of January this year, how this sweater looked with the MooRER jacket, you can see at the link.

The Aida Barni brand operates under the company name of the Annapurna fashion group, which was founded in 1978. The Annapurna group has become one of the most famous Italian and world leading manufacturers of high-quality cashmere knitwear. The Annapurna Spa fashion group consists of the Annapurna and Aida Barni brands.

Aida Barni brand uses all kinds of the latest technologies to make cashmere knitwear, forming special looms to the latest and most advanced knitting machines. The entire production process takes place in Italy, more precisely in the company’s headquarters in the Italian city of Prato.

If you want to be up to date and find out all the news about new collections that Aida Barni is preparing for us, follow them on the social networks Facebook and Instagram.

Since I am a double virgo and for my zodiac sign people mostly say that we are extremely accurate and that we cannot survive if we are late somewhere, I decided to proudly carry an Epos watch on my trip to Skopje, a Swiss brand that makes an incredible watches.

This is one of my faithful allies that helps me not to be late, and at the same time to have one unusual masterpiece on hand is a wrist watch made by the famous Swiss brand Epos. If by any chance you missed reading an interesting story and history of this company, you can do so by clicking on the link.

My dear fashionistas, we have come to the end of this first special fashion from Northern Macedonia. How did you like this outfit of mine today?

I really tried to prepare this outfit for you with a lot of love and I hope you will like it! See you in a couple of days with a new fashion story from Skopje!

I advise you to listen to my advice due to the current unfavorable health situation in almost all European and countries around the world. If you need to go out into the fresh air, take a walk and clear your mind, feel free to do so, but do not go to places where there are a lot of people and encourage crowding.

I understand that people need to go out into the fresh air for physical activity and mental health, but you can do that by walking around the city every day, on low-traffic streets. Of course, you can walk in parks and other types of green areas or promenades along rivers, but keep the prescribed physical distance and use disinfectants and wear a mask.

If you have a question, comment, suggestion or message for me, you can write me down in the comments. Of course, as always you can contact me via mail or social media channels, which you can find on the CONTACT page. Stay tuned!

This post is sponsored by Corneliani, Aida Barni (Annapurna Spa), Epos, Restelli and Loro Piana brands and represents my personal and honest review of their products.

You look great as always, did you take this jacket to St. Petersburg so you wouldn’t freeze completely?!
