Aida Barni: Italian Sophisticated Dreams are made of cashmere…

I wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart. I hope that all your wishes will come true and that we will stay healthy and happy together with the hope that the new year will bring some new positive things that make us all satisfied.

During this winter season on my blog you had the opportunity to meet some new, interesting fashion brands that deserve to be noticed for their exceptional quality and impressive design.

In the previous months, I presented on my blog a various fashion labels from Italy, such as the fashion house MooRER from romantic Verona and a specialized workshop for making leather gloves Restelli from the Italian capital of fashion – Milan.

Do you know what Annapurna means? Have you ever heard for this word? Annapurna is a name that evokes extraordinary landscapes and in particular, a massif in the Himalayas in north-central Nepal that includes one peak over 8,000 metres where goats grow their thick protective fleece hiding the soft, warm “duvet” that has made them so famous.

Annapurna is also represent an imaginative and fascinating name for a company that produces high quality knitwear made of the finest cashmere. A name of promise then, a symbol of a target to achieve for a woman – Ms. Aida Barni, who decided to enter the business world at the end of the seventies at the top of a difficult sector of the market.

Today is a special day for me because the brand Aida Barni joins to my small fashion network called Mr.M. The Aida Barni brand is synonymous with the luxury and quality of exclusive cashmere yarn, a material that has fascinated all fashion lovers for centuries.

Many years of experience and knowledge about the origin and processing of yarn have enabled the Aida Barni brand to become one of the leading brands of top knits in the fashion world. Aida Barni, an Italian famous designer, has published a book with numerous illustrations that aims to promote her unique brand and cashmere, one of the most precious natural materials in the world.

The Aida Barni brand operates under the company name of the Annapurna fashion group, which was founded in 1978. The Annapurna group has become one of the most famous Italian and world leading manufacturers of high-quality cashmere knitwear. The Annapurna Spa fashion group consists of the Annapurna and Aida Barni brands.

Aida Barni brand uses all kinds of the latest technologies to make cashmere knitwear, forming special looms to the latest and most advanced knitting machines. The current production capacity of Aida Barni and Annapurna brands are about 120,000 pieces per year, which you have to admit is impressive. The entire production process takes place in Italy, more precisely in the company’s headquarters in the Italian city of Prato.

These beautiful gloves which you have opportunity to see in today’s post have arrived from Italy, made in a great combination of cashmere and suede leather, which were made with great love in a family specialized workshop for making gloves. Making gloves is not only a job but also a real art.

Passion, emotions, tradition and knowledge have been passed on to the third generation after 100 years! Ms. Rafaela Restelli has fully accepted the challenges of the new fashion era in which the market and the way of selling have changed with deep respect and belief in tradition and love for beautiful masterpieces that last!

Restelli gloves are not valued with money, but with a tradition and history full of love and patience that have no price.

Beloved Ématelier masterpiece Jaguar from the limited collection “Kingdom” you previously have seen in my last blog post, which, in addition showing the right time, is also a real little work of art that adorns the hand. I think that this Ématelier Jaguar watch fit perfectly with the rest of this outfit and that this incredible hand-painted dial brought a bit of cheerful colors to this cold winter day.

Of course, as I mentioned at the very beginning of this post, I founded my small and chosen Italian company with the Italian brand MooRER who introduced me to my new friend Morris.

I have to be honest and admit that you’ve seen Morris more than me, but that was justified because this is an exceptional model of jacket that can be worn for a long time because this is a timeless classic model.

I advise you to have on mind my friendly advice due to the current aggravation of the health situation in almost all European countries and countries around the world as well. If you need to go out into the fresh air, take a walk and clear your mind, feel free to do so, but do not go to places where there are a lot of people and encourage crowding.

I understand that people need to go out into the fresh air for physical activity and mental health, but you can do that by walking around the city every day, on low-traffic streets. Of course, you can walk in parks and other types of green areas or promenades along rivers, but keep the prescribed physical distance and use disinfectants and wear a mask.

I take this opportunity to draw your attention to the care and protection of yourself and your beloved ones. Let’s prevent the spread of the Corona virus and try to make this one day just another bad dream that we have successfully forgotten!
