My dear fashionistas, welcome to my new fashion story on the pages of the Mr.M blog. I’m really glad that you like my take on fashion and that I inspire many women in their prime to change their minds and bring some novelty into their lives.

Today I will present to you one of my favorite fur pieces that you have had the opportunity to see this season on the Mr.M blog. Gemmi is a new partner of Mr.M blog, a luxury brand of jackets and coats from Finland. All Gemmi pieces are painstakingly crafted in the Gemmi factory in Finland with the help of skilled and experienced craftsmen and tailors. The materials they use are natural and sustainable and selected for their quality characteristics and responsible production.

How did the Gemmi brand come about? The brand was born out of necessity due to extremely harsh winters in the north of Europe. The history of the Gemmi brand dates back to the early 70s when a factory was built in the small town of Loviisa, located in southern Finland. The vision of the founder of the contemporary Gemmi fur brand got a new life in 2014. I am truly impressed by the work of Ms. Susanne Stenfors and her team who put a lot of love and effort into making Gemmi products and are truly dedicated to each client individually. Gemmi has always created its own unique style of modern fur coats. Their team saw an opportunity to develop a line of fur products that were already well designed, high quality, functional and responsibly made, into a contemporary brand of fur jackets and coats with clearer influences from the Nordic design tradition.

Gemmi is a family company continuing the long tradition of clothing and fur production in Finland. Their fur factory is one of the few textile and fur factories in the Nordic countries, where the right attitude and proper clothing are needed to get through the long and dark winters. In addition, they equally need some kind of outerwear during all seasons. All Gemmi products are designed and handcrafted in Finland. The Gemmi team found inspiration for the new collections in timeless design archives and experimented with different materials to create new contemporary pieces for all four seasons.

Gemmi various collections uphold the tradition of Finnish design aesthetics, combined with functionality and high-quality materials. The Gemmi team is constantly searching for new natural and sustainable materials suitable for making luxury outerwear. One of the latest discoveries is the Finnish tweed fabric produced by Saimaa Wool, using wool from Nordic sheep. This beautiful tweed fabric in striking colors complements Gemma’s timeless, classic design. Gemmi models are made for everyday use, and for weather and wind protection, they generally use wind and water resistant fabrics.

Windbreakers are now increasingly made from recycled polyester or nylon and the quality of these more sustainable technical fabrics is improving. Gemmi is known for lightweight, reversible fur coats, jackets and vests, which on the one hand look like a functional coat made of technical fabric, but when the reverse is a luxurious fox fur coat, jacket or vest. Gemmi fur jackets and coats are made from fur skins obtained at Saga Furs auctions from Finnish certified and regulated farmers. In this way, we know the origin of the materials used in the production of the fur coat.

In addition to making new fur coats, Gemmi can also revive your old ones and create new fashion masterpieces. I believe that through my previous fur fashion stories, you have become familiar with a number of fur facts that the most important thing to know is that natural fur is a long-lasting, warm material. Many of us have old jackets and coats made of fur that are hanging unused in our wardrobes, and this fact has inspired the Gemmi team to create a new service that will give old fur coats the opportunity to become new fur-lined parkas. This is a win-win combination that provides mutual benefits for many customers who use beautiful fur in a new form and for the Gemmi team a new opportunity because they can provide work for their expert team.

In today’s post, you have the opportunity to see a Reversible Fox Fur Coat in wonderful Bark color that is designed to be an oversized fit, but at the same time is the most comfortable jacket you will ever wear. The jacket is extremely warm and light. The hood and sleeves have a light padded lining. The jacket is designed and made in Finland. I must mention that Gemmi has limited stock, in order to minimize the level of unsold jackets and coats. Fur coats, jackets and vests ordered through the Gemmi online store are generally made to order and delivered within 2-3 weeks, assuming the Gemmi team has the required material in stock.

How can you buy Gemmi products? The Gemmi flagship store is located in the heart of downtown Helsinki, where you can experience the beauty of their fur jackets and coats in live. On the other hand, in the comfort of your home, you can use the services of the Gemmi online store, which has the widest selection of Gemmi products. Gemmi products can also be found in some stores in northern Finland and high-end department stores, fashion boutiques and fur shops in many countries in Europe and around the world.

If you want to stay updated and find out what all the novelties Gemmi has in offer for us this winter fashion season, follow them on the social networks Facebook and Instagram.

I am happy to have the opportunity to introduce you to the new friends of the Mr.M blog who have succeeded in bringing together exquisite luxury artisan crafts, Italian passion and exquisite Neapolitan craftsmanship. Artigiano del Guanto (ADG) is an artisan glove workshop active in the northern part of Naples, founded by Giovanni Ricciardiello, an experienced glove maker for 10 decades, a historical exponent of the tradition of the ancient Neapolitan glove makers. A few years ago, in 2016 to be precise, the laboratory was renovated and with it the brand was born: Artigiano Del Guanto.

Today, Artigiano Del Guanto is no longer a “simple” workshop of artisan gloves, but a family company in which the new generation of heirs Francesco, Mimmo and Flora, Giovanni’s children stand out, who, with the indispensable presence of their father, in addition to the brand, renewed the production chain with a completely new styles and models, connected with new modern communication channels, in order to satisfy the needs of even the most demanding customer. Over the years, the Artigiano Del Guanto collections have attracted the attention of very prestigious international high fashion brands such as Giorgio Armani, MaxMara, Coccinelle and Pinko, with whom today the Ricciardiello family’s ADG artisan glove laboratory proudly collaborates as an official manufacturer.

What does a working day look like at the Artigiano Del Guanto craft workshop? The working day starts early in the morning between 6:30 and 7 am, when the doors of the ADG workshop are already open. The first word that rings out in the craft workshop is “Good morning”. At 07:30 the first morning coffee is already ready and at 08:00 the working day begins. The first bucket of leather softening water is already full and can be found under the marble counter that will soon be almost 45 years old.

The first stage of processing is in moistening the leather by wrapping it in cloth, previously immersed in a bucket of water for a few seconds, then we move on to laying the leather on the counter, strictly manual work, adopting the right criteria. Then, with the help of scissors, a leather rectangle is formed. From here, the technical processing begins, with the splitting of the leather, it begins to take the form of a glove. Once the desired shape has been obtained, the embroidery itinerary is followed, which through small pictures, blades, curved cuts and various molds bring the holes, leather stitching, weaving, straps, pleats to life.

Are we done making the glove? No, there’s still a lot to do! Now we are in the delicate stage of the seam, entrusted to a highly qualified staff who has been doing this work for about 35 years. Glove production machines differ depending on the type of seam. During the final stage of processing, the passion and frugality of those who sew exclusively by hand and create small works of art are not neglected, as someone described years ago.

After sewing, we move on to the “shocking” phase, that is, to the exact control of the seams, which precedes the installation. The coating is done using special wooden hands on which the coating is placed. Small, traditional gestures of our workshop of handmade gloves… A light veil of vegetable glue is spread over the fingertips, and then the glove is inserted. To make sure the lining is stuck, the glove is placed on the thermal hand which will increase its adhesion. The final stages of production continue with work that can be done by hand or by machine and we are almost at the end of the line in fact only two stops short! Handmade gloves are ‘shown’, or ironed on thermal hands, bonded with cotton and undergo a final inspection, before passing through to destination packaging.

In today’s fashion story, I will present you unusual gloves that are made of the finest lambskin. M.Smithson (GKJ-9456) is a women’s model of gloves with Swarovski stones, made of lambskin. The model is distinguished by the application of Swarovski stones on the back of the gloves and a small leather flap. The lining is made of 100% cashmere.

During this winter season, together we will discover the beauty of luxury artisanal craftsmanship, Italian passion and the extraordinary Neapolitan craftsmanship of Artigiano Del Guanto. If you want to stay updated and find out what new gloves models Artigiano Del Guanto has to offer us this winter fashion season, follow them on Facebook and Instagram.

In today’s fashion story, I will present you some fashion pieces from my favorite Italian brand – Max Mara. Max Mara is a world famous Italian fashion brand. It was founded in 1951 in Reggio Emilia by Mr. Achille Maramotti. This legendary brand sponsors and awards the Max Mara Women’s Art Award. Achille Maramotti began creating wardrobes in 1947, and officially founded the Max Mara fashion house in 1951. How did the brand name come about?

The second word of the brand – “Mara” was derived from Mr. Maramotti surname, while “Max” referred to Count Max, a local legend, who was rarely sober, but always so classy and stylish! Mr. Maramotti was one of the first to see that the future of women’s fashion lay in the mass production of designer quality clothing. He also wanted to put his Max Mara brand at the top in front of the names of individual designers, although he hired Karl Lagerfeld, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Dolce & Gabbana, Narciso Rodriguez and Anne Marie Beretta. The company is still in the hands of the family and is one of the best family fashion businesses in the world.

The Max Mara group has 35 brands in its fashion empire, of which the Max Mara brand remains the heart of the company to this day. Other brands include Sportmax, Sportmax Code, Weekend Max Mara, Marella, Pennyblack, iBlues, MAX&Co. and Marina Rinaldi. An interesting information is that Marina Rinaldi is a brand founded in 1980 and named after the greatmother of Mr. Maramotti.

Max Mara is my favorite brand because it absolutely meets my criteria when it comes to wardrobe, which are: quality, interesting models and cuts, good selection of materials, as well as fine processing of materials. Today I decided to show you two iconic pieces: a timeless turtleneck sweater and unusual sneakers with mink fur details. The turtleneck sweater is made of the finest cashmere with metal details.

The sneakers are really unusual because they are made of a combination of cashmere and mink fur details. The color of these sneakers is amazing live and because of the neutrality of the pastel color, these sneakers go perfectly with any outfit! In a future post I will try to style them with a Max Mara bag and a coat that I got from my dear friends from Max Mara.

If you want to know more about the Italian fashion house Max Mara and discover what the Maramotti family has prepared for the new fashion season, visit their official online store and follow them on Facebook and Instagram.

I have always admired women with longer and well-groomed hair, but unfortunately I have had short hair all my life, but with the help of Ellen Wille wigs (supllied by Perike In) I managed to fulfill my long-term dream and I am very happy about it. Wigs have become a trend today, because wearing a wig opens up a number of new possibilities for you to experiment and change yourself, without having to make any permanent changes to your natural hair.

Also in addition to the aesthetic transformation, wigs can provide you with good protection from frequent treatment and heat, keeping your natural hair healthy. The history of Ellen Wille began with a suitcase full of ideas. Ellen Wille is a self-made hair designer who built a global brand from a small company. After completing her studies in Paris, the company was established in 1967. The corporate philosophy is shaped by commitment to the highest quality, and this is what the Ellen Wille name stands for.

For over 50 years, Ellen Wille designs have been inspired by international fashion trends. Her passion for wig perfection is evident – she guides every meticulous detail and each Ellen Wille wig is unique. All aspects of an individual style, from the hair fiber to the coloring to the cap design, is about ensuring the most beautiful look, natural movement and comfortable fit. Ellen remains involved in every detail of design, from the first idea, to the finishing touches of each style.

The wig you see on me today is the Kimera Deluxe wig, a champagne color from the Stimulate collection that has soft and gentle layers that make this mid-length style absolutely perfect. This wig is designed to ensure a tight and secure fit for the woman wearing it. This wig is of medium length and is made of the highest quality synthetic fibers.

When someone thinks of having to wear a wig, most people get scared thinking that it will take too much time to maintain them. Fortunately, that is not the case at all. Ellen Wille wigs are very easy to maintain and there are many products that will make them last a long time and look the same as when you bought them.

I hope you enjoyed my fashion story today. See you soon with some new and more interesting fashion stories. I will try not to take long breaks and I hope you understand the reason for my unexpected absence after failed cosmetic surgery in Egypt, but there will be time to make up for everything and I am sure I will meet your expectations.

Special note: All my photos from today’s post have been additionally and specially processed to meet the expectations of blog friends, as well as the readers themselves while respecting the aesthetics and guidelines of fashion photography. Unfortunately, the face and neck lifting operations did not go well and due to the negligence of the medical team from Egypt, I suffered serious aesthetic and health consequences. In agreement with my legal team, I will soon tell you the whole story so that you will fully understand the reason for my long absence from the blog, because you deserve to know the truth and all the details.

Best Regards,

Rose

Dear Rose, I can completely understand you because I was also a victim of a plastic surgeon in the US. Since I am engaged in public work at TV station, I am forced, like you, to use the help of PS and to use various filters to soften the ruined appearance of my face. I did only neck lift, temporal lift and blepharoplasty. After the temporal lift, I got bumps in my hair, which now look like “horns”. I am desperate and suing the surgeon and published my story in a couple of American media. I’m sending you lots of… Read more »

Dear Rose, I followed all your stories after Egypt and I can only tell you that you are a very strong and brave woman. If you need any help with media in the UK I will help you tell your story and raise awareness. We can do anything when you are ready to go public. In the UK, a lot of clinics are closed for such cases and the surgeon’s licenses are revoked. As for your outfit today, it’s really youthful and great for walking around town. The fur coat is beautiful, especially this wonderful soft taupe color. I look… Read more »

I’ll just say that I carefully looked at the two pictures from today’s post and I can’t believe what you have on your neck, really that surgeon should be sentenced to life imprisonment. I am a doctor of another specialty, but I know what necrosis is. As unprofessional as that surgeon was when he caused you to spread necrosis in areas where there is no incision for a face and neck lift, I hope you get good compensation. I don’t if you know that in Europe for such cases, patients can receive compensation between 1.5 and 2 million euros from… Read more »

Technology is a miracle, I am 73 years old and I could never have imagined that technology could beautify someone’s pain and wounds so much. If you had not written what happened to you in Egypt, I would have thought that you look perfect like many stars in Hollywood after such surgical facial rejuvenation. As a woman who has been through a lot in life and survived cancer and had glands removed from my neck, I will understand your suffering and pain because this is really a physical disability that you received as a gift from a surgeon.

Dear Rose, you are such a wonderful and lovely lady and I rejoiced with you when you shared your experience on Instagram last September. The reason I’m following your surgery is precisely because I’ve been wanting to do facial rejuvenation surgery because I’m 68 years old and I just want to do it for myself. I have to admit after everything that I am very scared and that I will think twice about having surgery at all with any plastic surgeon.

Read more »
